We did not get to feed or hold the animals. We went to a zoo and walked around zoo by ourselves without the guide.

This was an amazing tour. Guide was excellent. He was very informative during the tour. He even reached out the day before to tell us where to meet. I would highly recommend this tour
It was totally delightful and a true Australia experience. The guide (Menashe) was extremely knowledgeable and informative. The guide’s knowledge of the timing of other tours enabled to best the crowds on the larger buses. We pretty much had the wild animal park to ourselves. We also went to a family owned local restaurant where the atmosphere and food was great. It’s a long day but was full of new experiences, including riding all three modes of transportation in the Blue Mountains. Definitely bring good walking shoes to full explore the paths and streams.
This was a fantastic day! Our guide Menashe rearranged our schedule to suit the weather, which was a blessing! He made sure to capitalize on our time, driving through interesting areas when we had time, and had so much information en route to each stop. He was flexible and patient with us, and gave us a stress-free day. The van was very comfortable as well. The weather didn't cooperate, but he made sure we still had a full, interesting, customized day. He is conversational and funny but never made us feel overwhelmed. Excellent tour guide, excellent tour!
It was a great day with a wonderful guide (Menashe). The weather wasn't on our side, but our guide still gave us a memorable day. He rearranged the itinerary to adapt to give us the best day. We loved visiting the wildlife park. We had a really memorable day. When we come back to see the Blue Mountains, we hope the weather is as cooperative as our guide was today!
This was a fantastic tour and I highly recommend it to everyone. I was very conflicted about which tour to do and I am SO GLAD I picked this one. It had everything I hoped for and more. Our guide was friendly and EXTREMELY knowledgeable. Felt like it was our private tour. It was great, we had a fantastic time! Even my 12-year old son had a blast. Take this tour, you will not be disappointed!!
John S was an excellent guide. I would highly recommend this day tour. So many different things to see. A must if you’re visiting Sydney.
Awesome day spent with Menashe our guide with Zanza Tours!!! We could have never seen & enjoyed so much if it hadn't been for Menashe! With his knowledge, our wait time was non-existent or a few minutes at everything! We got to see & enjoy everything we wanted!! We traveled from downtown Sydney to the Olympic Park & surroundings, Featherdale Wildlife Park (had a personal experience with Darwin the Koala, hand fed the Wallabies & Kangaroos, (Got to see up close the Little Blue Penquins,) Elysian Rock (saw 3 sisters from the back,) Rode the Cable Car at Scenic World (with a glass bottom in the center of the Cable Car- saw a huge waterfall & 3 sisters from the front on the cable car & after,) Rode the steepest incline railway in the world at Scenic Skyway, Walked the wooden scenic walkway over the rainforest, Echo Point for up close views of 3 sisters & incredible Blue Mountains, Multiple discussions on the local culture, plants & animals (as well as sightings,) Had The Best Local Lunch! No question, best day touring- we Highly recommend!!
This tour is well worth booking. We loved the Blue Mountains and the fantastic views Menashe took us to see. We felt very looked after and would highly recommend Zanza tours
This was a great tour, even though I had to get up early in the morning after a long flight! Well worth it. Our guides were friendly, engaging, and knowledgeable. They went out of their way to make us comfortable and they made a point of supporting local businesses.
Excellent tour: we were a very small tour group which allowed our operator to adjust our schedule to maximize our experience. The blue mountains are a must see
Menashe was amazing. We followed hai advice and learned about the landscape and Aboriginal culture from him and Yamandira. It was an unforgettable experience. Ten Stars. We felt a peace and connection that is hard to describe in a review!
Menashe made the tour and the whole day very special. He shared his love for Australia and deep knowledge of the Blue Mountains region and Sydney with our group. He adapted the itinerary to each traveling duo’s preferences. It was a fantastic tour!
Travel guide was very knowledgeable and friendly, blue mountains had lots of beautiful views and scenery. Had a great day
A great day out. Early start but worth it. Lots to see and do. Don’t forget your camera. Lunch stop was a nice place. Blue mountains are lovely.
The tour driver/guide was incredibly knowledgeable, took the time to answer any questions and made the tour so incredibly enjoyable. I also was able to learn from an aborigines about his heritage and made me think differently about many things relating to the places we visited in the Blue Mountains. We also were able to eat in authentic Australian restaurants and sample new dishes. All in all, it was one of the greatest experiences of my life.
My daughter and I did the Blue Mountain tour with Menashe and he was a terrific guide. The tour was well organized and we saw beautiful views and covered an amazing amount of things in one day. Small and congenial group. Best way to see the scenery and Australian animals and birds. Highly recommend!
In general, I don’t like writing reviews, but our guide, Solomon, made our trip so special that it truly deserves the highest rating. The experience was perfectly tailored, entertaining, and educational, and it was entirely thanks to him. If you are looking for a trip you will truly remember, choose this tour without hesitation.
Thank you, Philip, for being such a knowledgeable, friendly guide on our Blue Mountains day trip. Your clear explanations, local stories, and thoughtful timing at each stop made the experience relaxed, memorable, and truly special for everyone in my family group 🥳❤️
Menashe of Zanza Tours was excellent- informative, friendly and well organized. It was great to get out of Sydney and experience the beauty and wildlife of the Blue Mountains. And learning more about First People culture and philosophy was moving. Great tour!
This was a very informative, professional and thoughtful tour. Menashe & his brother were amazing, pleasant & knowledgeable. Zanza Tours Pty was our Blue Mountain Tour company. My husband and I took the Blue Mountains Ultimate One Day Tour from Sydney. It included an absolutely delightful coffee/tea/hot chocolate options and pastry morning stop as well as an incredible lunch at Mountain High Pies in Wentworth Falls NSW. The train and tram ride at Scenic World in Blue Mountains was gorgeous & have an amazing look at the history of the area, as well as the stopping points for views of the Blue Mountains that they selected were absolutely perfect. We were given the opportunity of seeing the culture of the Aborigine Heritage which was insightful and delightful. Our last stop that was Featherdale Sydney Wildlife Park was a wonderful experience with lots of furry friends at close range for visits. If we were given a scale of 1 to 10 for this tour we would give it a 100 and select it every single time we would visit. Thank you all for providing us with an amazing experience while visiting Sydney, Australia.
The experience was absolutely amazing- it started out with Menashe calling me and offering to give us a private tour for no extra cost, which was absolutely amazing. He was absolutely awesome and picked us up from our hotel and had a lot of interesting info to share on our way to breakfast to a very picturesque local cafe which had amazing coffee and food. He then took us to the Blue Mountains. We ended up doing the tour with the aboriginal guide which was incredibly enlightening and eye-opening. It started with him telling us about the culture and origins of his people and showing us the tools they use, etc. He then took us on a hike through the mountains to show us multiple lookout points and waterfalls and rainforest in the bush, all while showing us what everything means to them and what plants they use for what. It was incredible- we got to try multiple different plants and even make natural paint with the quartz. We then went to get meat pies for lunch, which were AMAZING. Then lastly, was the wildlife park which was sooo cool to see all the native Australian animals and take a photo with a Koala. We got to feed kangaroos and wallabies and see so many interesting creatures. Overall was an amazing experience and I would highly recommend anyone young or old to come on this tour!!! Super fun and insightful and a great way to see the country.
I am a nature lover and found despite the cold weather that the guide could have given us more time to explore the sightseeing. I am afraid of heights, but after a few seconds I loved the rides. The cable car and the train rides were great and I would have loved to have done them again. It was too fast to do one after the other. Then we stopped at a view to overlook the mountains. Again it was cold, but we would have enjoyed to stay a little bit longer. Our last stop was at a wildlife park, to be able to take a picture with a Koala and see all the other animals. But again we had not enough time. Coming to Australia I really wanted to see Koalas and Kangaroos; sadly I only got to see them under time pressure. The wildlife park had so many other animals which I had not seen before, and sadly didn’t get to see them on this trip. I would recommend the tour, but make sure that the group is not under time pressure. In the end, we returned ahead of the scheduled time.
Very good tour. We took it w a guided walk of an aboriginal guide. Spectacular views. Very pleasant guide. We also went to a wilderness reserve with only Australia animals
Deep knowledge of area and history, tour felt intimate and bespoke. Nice pace, not rushed or dragging at all.
I specificially chose this tour as I was looking for a smaller and more intimate tour. Well… I wasn’t disappointed as I ended up getting a private tour from the man himself, Menashe. He kinda had that “world’s most interesting man” vibe to him… As such, I wasn’t sure what was more interesting, the blue mountains or Monashe himself but I ended up getting a good dose of both. In short, if you’re looking to see the blue mountains without feeling like a mindless lemming, give Menashe a call.
Living near the beautiful Smoky Mountains, the Blue Mountains are a totally different experience. The breakfast stop was awesome. This trip leaves early in the morning, but is worth it because it helps you miss the crowds. We were lucky and only had a group of 6. Sean was a great tour guide with great stories. He knew how to get us to the front of the line to make the experience more enjoyable. Highly recommended!
Menashe our tour guide made it a valuable experience that will last a lifetime! He went above and beyond to make it the best for us. Wonderful views and exciting rides. Must see for all!! Thank you!
The tour was excellent!!! It ended up private becuase it was only my husband and me in the tour. Menashe, our guide, was excellent. He went above and beyond to cover our needs, he even took us to buy jackets because it was very cold for us on that day and we were not that prepared. Everything was wonderful and it is a must see if you are staying in Sydney!!!
Didn’t go by Bondi Beach, the Botanical Gardens, or go into Featherdale Wildlife Park. The lunch stop was closed, the coffee/tea stop in the morning was not well coordinated either. All in all, we spent almost 4 hours on these two stops alone. When booking a tour, guests expect and pay for a well coordinated experience. Guests are paying for the streamlined experience and for the efficient use of time along with the tour operator’s expertise to make the most of the excursion. I’ve done many tours in the past and I did not feel this experience was worth the cost. The operator did not provide the services described in the tour. The operator did not organize the experience in advance as they should have- and we paid for. I would not recommend this operator.
Great communication in negotiating pick up spot. Punctuality. Our guide Lloyd was very knowledgeable and entertaining. The ride was smooth and well organized. The small group was perfect for me and my somewhat shy son. I would highly recommend thos tour!
Lloyd is definitely the no.1 tour guide for the Blue Mountains. Full of humour and knowledge. The perfect blend. So many highlights but all we can say is, when in Sydney, please do a small group tour to the Blue Mountains. Lloyd takes you to the best spots (including a unique location for a light breakfast, the open fire was a special treat and lunch, at the homemade pie restaurant). What a perfect day. Thank you Lloyd for making it so special. We had a fantastic time, lots of fun. So in summary, book this tour and make lifetime memories, you won’t regret it.
A fantastic tour that started with a trip to pet and feed Kangaroos, Koala Bears and then into the Blue Mountains including the Scenic experience of cable car, skyway and vertical (well almost) train. Stopped off for some breathtaking walks and scenic spots for photos. Menashe is an exceptional tour guide with a wealth of knowledge and a real gift for storytelling, which made the day even more interesting. Thoroughly recommend this small group experience.
Excellent tour guide. The blue mountains is a beautiful place to go to. Would recommend this tour to anyone visiting Sydney
Our guide was fabulous and although our pickup was very early, we found out later it put us ahead of all the filled tour buses. Minache’s ( probably spelled his name wrong) ensured we experienced local tastes which was a unique experience we would have missed. We started the day with speciality coffee and fresh scones, lunch was fabulous locally made meat/ vegan/veggie pies. We were also introduced to his friend who gave an orientation to Aboriginal/Indigenous culture which was great and his guide was so passionate. In all we were 9 people on the tour and we divided into two groups, one group experienced Aboriginal culture through nature in the Blue Mountains while the rest of us did the Ultimate Blue Mountain tour which included the three different rides/trams. We thoroughly enjoyed the day and would highly recommend it. By the way, everything was included! 🇨🇦
What a great day! Menashe is a wealth of information and so concerned about making the day special. We ended up having a very rainy morning so he mixed up the schedule so that we went to the wildlife park 1st. Then when the fog came in later he took us on a bush walk full of history about the people and nature of Australia. And lunch at a local pie shop was a real treat. I really can’t recommend this tour enough. Also his van is very comfortable.
Menashe was a friendly and considerate guide. Our oldest child felt unwell during the tour and Menashe was sensitive and caring to our family. He also shared lots of interesting information throughout the day. Highly recommend!
It was a wonderful day! Since the mountains were socked in by fog in the morning, Menashe took us to see the 2000 OlympicsPark and Featherdale Wildlife Park first. We then took off for the mountains, which by then were sunny and gorgeous! Loved the Scenic World and we also had a very informative cultural talk from an Indiginous native. Menashe was very knowledgeable about Sydney and the Blue Mountains and was extremely accomodating. Five stars!!
very good tour guide and help with his speaking English to connect our apple iPhone reading captions because we are deaf.
Really comfortable small group tour with a good variety of experiences. Smaller wildlife park experience (especially if you like birds) where I fell in love with so many delightful animals. Blue Mountains with an experienced local who helped avoid lines while still doing it all. Well-planned and super enjoyable— even on a blistering hot day! A highlight was stopping by the guide’s own city of residence in the foothills for a delicious breakfast as the journey commenced (helped break up the drive) and lunch at the Conservation Hut!!! Definately recommend!
The Blue Mountains Ultimate One-Day Tour by Blue Mountains Tours offers an exceptional experience. The tour is led by a warm, kind, and knowledgeable operator who ensures an educational journey. A highlight is the Aboriginal walk, where a fantastic storyteller shares insights into the culture, beliefs, plants, and wildlife, all while trekking through beautiful landscapes with multiple waterfalls. Additionally, a visit to Featherdale Wildlife Park provides a delightful bonus, allowing close encounters with koalas, kangaroos, and other native animals. This tour is highly recommended for its enriching and enjoyable experience.
Menashe gave us the most wonderful tour of Sydney. We went to the Blue Mountains and learned about its history and the people through his passion for this area. You must get away from the water and the tourists and do this tour with Menashe!
Great tour! Highly recommended. Chapo did an outstanding job. Informative, great breakfast and lunch, comfortable bus.
I would give 6 stars to this travel agency and Menashe. We were the only family who booked the trip due to the weather and yet he did not cancel the trip or transfer us to another agency. He also tailored the trip to what we could see due to the foggy weather and brought us back to view 3 sisters multiple times, so we could get a peak. Our seven year old daughter also thoroughly enjoyed the guided tour. Thanks for making the trip memorable for us.
What a wonderful experience. I recommend this to anyone going to Sydney. Our guide Menash is so knowledgeable and you can tell he loves the country.
Went on the Blue Mountains tour with my good friend and her twenty year old daughter. It was amazing! Menashe was our personal tour guide for the day. He taught us so much about Australia, the history, the culture, the Aboriginal influences and traditions, the horticulture, the animals, etc…. We saw so much in this beautiful region and ate delicious donuts and meat pies. Everywhere we stopped, Menashe had friends! And now he is our friend too!
We had a wonderful day with Minash, who was an excellent guide. The tour was very well thought and organized.
Was a beautiful and personalized experience everything was beautiful, you have to came to these tour!
Wow what a wonderful experience, great communication from booking to the layout during the tour. This company went ABOVE AND BEYOND to assure I had an amazing experience. Our guide Sean was so generous and professional that I wanted another tour! They take care of every detail, tea and lunch, tickets and advice to make sure you get the pictures the experiences you seek. Chapo was also on hand ready to offer help and the best Australian hospitality you can ask for. Thankyou to this awesome company that truly gave me the best memories of sydney.
Picked up at Hotel. Menashe was very informative and thoroughly engaging through the tour. What a fabulous day, exploring the Blue Mountain history.
