Gorgeous views and great fun navigating narrow pathways to the bottom of the valley. Be prepared to walk a lot! Guide Zac was fantastic too.

Itinerary
Morning stop in the lower Blue Mountains town of Glenbrook. A beautiful little town with a few Aussie cafes, toilets and shops. We have a short stop here for coffees and toilets on our way to the upper Blue Mountains where we spend majority of our day
This is the location that we do our 90+ minute waterfall nature walk and usually have lunch afterwards. The guide will be checking the weather and decide the best place to have lunch. The hike has a harder section however you can choose to skip this part. Lunch is included and you can check the pictures.
This is the most touristic location that we attend and we do try to attend at less busy times. We spend a shorter amount of time here as we are more of a nature experience. At this location you have free time to grab some photos of the Three Sisters rock formations. There is also a café, bar, souvenir shops and a local gem shop.
We see numerous Blue Mountains lookouts and viewpoints. We will keep this description broad as we do vary the itinerary for the most optimum lookouts taking into account weather, visibility and staying away from crowds at peak times. Check our photos and reviews. We will take you to the best spots ! Small group, small bus so we go to better locations too! **We have removed Scenic World as an option as it is too busy/lines.**No zoos **No ferry boat **No Hotel pickups and drops. As we Maximise our time in nature in the Blue Mountains which is what our guests want. Please book elsewhere if desired.
A really cool lookout overlooking Megalong Valley. This lookout has no fences which makes it really unique.

Chris did an excellent job in managing this awesome tour. He was very clear on the instructions of the different first hikes and other stops. The lunch was fantastic and very filling. My only criticism is that the last row of seats really doesn't accommodate 5 . Make sure you get there early or you will be stuck with that seat on a full tour like I did Fortunately he asked a much smaller person to switch with me. Thank you for doing that.
Good your. Aaron was very friendly and accommodating. He made sure we could have some nice walks through the blue mountains which is why we chose to do this tour above others, which seemed to prioritise photos at viewing spots over walks. Lunch was a sandwich and it was perfectly adequate. We brought our own stuff also which was probably overkill but we gave ourself a back up in case we didn't like the food (it was fine by the way...). I would recommend Aaron. Not so sure about the other guides as some were a bit hit and miss according to some other reviews.
Great scenery good guide kept everyone together Aaron was a good source of information He was also a good driver 😁
The tour was as described. The meeting place was easy to find and the bus was there when we arrived. (Tip: There was a Huggy Berry about one block from the pick up point where we were able to get coffee and a scone.) Our guide Aaron was knowledgeable offering informative narrative and answering questions. There was not a lot of narrative during transit but it was good for him to give attention to driving. The walk to Wentworth Falls was beautiful but there was a lot of elevation change with steps. My cell phone tracker said we did 17 flights of stairs. Other stops along the way were breathtaking including the lunch spot.
Chris was lovely and he was not too much or too little with anything. The itinerary was a nice flow and took into account bathroom, coffee and snack breaks. Lunch provided was a deli sandwich. Bus was clean and had air-con. Hike itself had 3 levels (no hike, medium, hard) and having those options was great.
Chris provided us with a memorable and fantastic experience! His lively commentary kept us all entertained and prepared for the journey! He informed us about the weather, all of the stops along the way and gave us excellent information and suggestions for getting snacks, finding bathroom facilities, and water! We enjoyed the delicious lunch provided. He also made sure to let everyone know the skills needed to climb to the bottom of the falls. He also provided us with his cell phone number in case anybody needed to get in touch with him in case of emergency. All in all a fabulous experience and a highlight of our trip!! WELL DONE CHRIS!!
Great trip. Abbey was a great guide - very knowledgeable, fun and friendly. Enjoyed the views of the Blue Mountain and also the walk.
This was a really great choice to see the blue mountains and the 3 sisters rocks. The views were breathtaking and the waterfalls are so pretty. Our guide was really enthusiastic and knowledgeable. I didn't actually go down the steps of doom as she called them. I'm 65, have a dodgy knee so I gave it a miss. I was happy to sit in the sun whilst the others dod it. There were a few of us that stayed behind so it was nice to chat. If you love the outdoors you will certainly love this.
Great experience! The guide Abbey was very knowledgeable and nice. She even took us on a couple extra stops since we were ahead of schedule.
This was a great hike that offered multiple venues depending upon skill level. We chose the harder path which was quite daring and stunning! Lower skilled hikers had great options for beautiful views and hikes. We loved everything about it including our guide, Ben. However, the bus was quite cramped in the back with five grown adults squeezed in for much a long ride. My wife gets car sick but we were called on one name at a time and if your name begins with a letter late in the alphabet, get ready to suck it in. One person in the back said they had inquired late about the tour and it was full but somehow their hostel host got them on, so maybe five in the back is not the norm. Other than that uncomfortable ride, the day was magnificent!
This was a great day and many opportunities for some fantastic photos. The sandwiches for lunch were pretty tasty and we had the chance to have some coffee and pastries. I'm on the mature side of life as was my companion but was in Sydney to run the marathon, so in fairly good condition. I thought the hike to the waterfalls was a bit strenuous. Everyone else in the group seemed to be in their 20s - 40s and had no problems at all with the hike. I enjoy small group tours - the van can take you to places that big full sized buses can't park at. Definitely a great way to see the Blue Mountains
Such wonderful place to visit! The weather was rainy and the visibility in Katoomba was not the best but out guide Chris did all he could to get us to the best spots. Also, massive shout out to the caterer.. lunch was really good!
We really enjoyed our Blue Mountains tour! Unfortunately, the weather wasn’t on our side but still loved it. A big thank you to Chris our tour guide for making the best of the day despite the weather. Would definitely recommend this tour!
Highly recommend this tour! So appreciated that Aaron kept us updated on the plans throughout the day. Even though it’s a long tour it went quickly and we saw so many beautiful sites. Recommend hiking down to the base of the waterfall.
It’s was an amazing hike would 100% recommend, JD was our guide and he was the best super helpful and gave us plenty of time in every location to grab pictures 10/10
Had an amazing time. Our guide JD was fantastic. Couldn’t recomend enough.
Long day, but very much worth it. Informative friendly guide. We learnt a lot of interesting facts. Walk to bottom of falls was quite taxing but beautiful. Lunch was filling and tasty. Recommended.
Great way to see the Blue Mountains. Abbey is a super fun, friendly and caring guide. Food was very good, and we got a gluten free option. Abbey has a great music play list.
Tour was amazing - Abbey our guide was super and showed us some hidden gems of views of the Blue Mountains. The steps of doom keep you fit !
Abbey showed us an awesome time including kangaroos. Her music was ama ing and the food was delicious.
An Amazing trip. A few lovely walks with a super friendly guide Abbey. We enjoyed truely amazing views, on the bus quiz entertainment and nice chats along the walks. The day felt too short. :D
If you like being outdoors, a little adventure and are reasonably active this is definitely the trip for you. Abbie was the perfect guide , along with her bus Priscilla. She really went the extra mile (no pun intended) to include everyone and helped us bond as a group with some fun along the way. Stunning scenery and walks. Plenty of toilet stops and chances to buy good and drink. Definitely a 5 star trip.
Absolutely loved today’s Blue Mountains trip with Abbey! I’m a fellow Aussie and honestly wasn’t sure how much I’d get out of a tour like this, but I was genuinely blown away. Abbey was such a fantastic guide - knowledgeable, friendly and made the whole day so enjoyable. I got to see and learn so much, and the scenery was incredible. Couldn’t recommend this tour enough. I had a brilliant time and would absolutely do it again!
Abbey was a great tour guide! Pick up was easy. The ride to the mountains was fun, enjoyable and educational. The waterfall trail was amazing!!! Then we saw more waterfalls and the three sisters. Lunch was yummy!! This was an amazing day!! I think the hike down and up from the waterfall ate not as daunting as it seems. The only issues would be if you have knee issues but this was not as difficult as it looked!
An awesome day visiting the blue mountains! Would highly recommend this tour. Chris was an amazing guide, very easy going and detailed with the descriptions of what lay ahead. Thanks for the great tour Chris!
Really beautiful scenery, great lunch, and Abbey was an incredibly knowledgeable tour guide! Would recommend.
Excellent tour with experienced and friendly guide (Chris). Lots of time given to enjoy the natural beauty of the Blue Mountains.
Was a great experience nice guide and overall a good day
Great experience! Loved our guide JD! Would do it again
This must have been one of the best tours I've had. You get to see the three sisters rock formation and Wentworth Falls. Our guide, Abbey, is a lot of fun and very knowledgeable. She's really good at what she does. And since we were a bit ahead of schedule, she put in a brief additional walk with excellent views as well. Highlights
The tour is worth every penny. Trent was very interactive and very informative. We enjoyed the tour very much. Highly recommended.
Amazing fella. Explained the rich history of the place. Loved the transport. The trail is not that difficult and can be done by anyone.
I had an incredible day exploring the Blue Mountains as part of a guided day tour with Coast Warriors Tours. We went to Wentworth Falls where the walk down to the lookout offers stunning views and brings you right up to the waterfall. We also went to see the Katoomba Cascades, Boars Head and the Three Sisters, as well as many spectacular viewing points over the Blue Mountains. The whole group seemed to enjoy the trip with our lovely tour guide, Abbie, who endeavoured to make it a memorable day for everyone and was knowledgeable, engaging, and structured the day perfectly. A vegan lunch was provided which was a bonus and very much appreciated.
We had an excellent tour with Abbey as our guide, she was very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. The small group tour made it a personalized experience. Although it was unfortunately a foggy day, we still had a great time walking in the blue mountains, taking great photos of mountains and the waterfall. The sandwiches provided were delicious. Highly recommend.
Such a fab experience, loved every minute! Our guide was fantastic, friendly and knowledgeable. Everything is taken care of, including a fresh home made lunch. There are lots of options if you don’t want to do the waterfalls walk. Highly recommend!!
Amazing day trip with lots of cool stops for sighting seeing and views, our tour guide was great and made the whole experience a fun day out. Highly recommend
Had an amazing experience on the Blue Mountains tour! The scenery was absolutely breathtaking, and the whole day was very well organised. Our guide was friendly, knowledgeable, and made the tour fun and enjoyable from start to finish. The views, beautiful landscapes, and stops along the way made it a truly memorable experience. Everything was smooth and well planned, and we had plenty of opportunities to take photos and enjoy the surroundings. Highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting the Blue Mountains. Definitely one of the highlights of my trip!
Chris was a fantastic guide on this hike to see Wentworth Falls. Beautiful, breathtaking scenery and given great information about the history and wildlife
I attempted to contact Coast Warrior Tours directly over email before posting this review. It is true in customer service when all you have to do is say the words "We are sorry, how can we do better?" But they never did that, in fact they are in the habit of the customer is always wrong. We were picked up at the common group meeting spot in Sydney. The first bus was filled so they asked us to get on another bus. It was a bit haphazard on checking on the names of who signed up. After you boarded the bus, they announced lunch orders would take place. I made a comment that I did not like one of the ingredients on the sandwich and could I have it removed. The guide told me why it was such a great ingredient and why I should not have it removed. So yeah that was a great first impression :) Thankfully everyone else on the bus was much kinder. A few of them were surprised the guide ignored me. For the rest of the day, it was an enjoyable trip since I was with a group of friends. We had a lot more fun not following the guide and walking ahead of the group. And nope, the guide never noticed that he was missing 3 people for several hours. I do recommend the Blue Mountains since they are pretty stunning. And yes, wear a good pair of shoes since there is a fair bit of walking. But do not take this tour with Coast Warriors.
A very good introduction to the Blue Mountains area & perfect for anyone just in Sydney for a short time. The guide was friendly & informative, & a lot was packed into the day with no sense of time pressure.
Excellent full day tour with great friendly guide Zac. The tour made even better by everyone on it also being very friendly and sociable. Beautiful spots to visit. My only small criticism is I would have liked more time at the three sisters, there are some cool little walks you can do and I felt like I flew round without really taking it in. Overall a must do for Sydney tourists.
Abbie was a great host, keeping us entertained with Australian facts and humour throughout the trip. Everything ran smoothly, including the transport, lunch etc. I loved the personalised touch of the 2 hour waterfall walk it was so beautiful. You stop at 2 main places on the blue mountains right in the heart of them. The views were incredible. Lunch was delicious, sandwiches with fresh ciabatta made by a local bakery in the blue mountains. We had a wonderful day, thankyou Abbie :)
Nice day trip to the blue mtns from Sydney. Emma (our guide) was fantastic from start to finish. The walk can be a little strenuous if not in shape or have elderly but worth the effort. Spectacular views!!!
Excellent trip, Abi our guide was very helpful and friendly. The stops were just the right length no wasted time. Highly recommended
Guide, Chris was very knowledgeable and professional. The description of small group is questionable- there were 28 people in the group - I was expecting a small group. The key area impacted was how rushed the hike or bush walk was. It was amazing and a bit disappointed we couldn’t stop and enjoy the beauty. There were predefined stops to allow for pictures but other than those - we had to keep up. Not a negative just wish i knew so I could reset the expectations or book different tour.
Great experience. You see beautiful landscapes and learn a lot about the region. Personally wish there was just a bit more hiking (could have done without the 3 sisters lookout spot for 30 mins). Otherwise fantastic day trip!
A very well run tour, with a friendly professional guide. The sights/views of the Blue Mountains are amazing
What an amazing trip, the day was on our favor. I would definitely recommend it. 1000% my husband and I had a awesome day.
Awesome adventure. Interesting Australian history lesson. Every stop was breathtaking. This is the one.
