Definitely go to the Scenic world. Be prepared to do lots of stairs and walking. Great scenery. Exceeded expectations

Great way to see the Blue Mountains. We traveled with our infant daughter and this tour allowed us to go at our own pace. Our tour guide helped pick locations suitable for our family and was very helpful, thinking of many little things that made the trip easier for us.

Rocky is an incredible tour guide- knowledgeable and fun and took amazing care of us!

Rocky was a super nice guy. He was not the issue with this tour!! But it was way too expensive for what you get. Basically you sit in the car for hours and stop a few places along the way. The zoo was a nice touch, but that added another $100 to the $677! It easily should have been included in the original price. We travel quite extensively and partake on many excursions. This one has bothered me the most because I feel like I just wrote a check for a donation, which would be fine, if I wanted to donate to this cause.

Even though the weather wasn’t on our side (it rained almost all day, and the Three Sisters were completely hidden in the fog) Rocky made the experience worthwhile by adapting the itinerary and taking us on an enjoyable tour around Sydney’s CBD after. Throughout the journey, Rocky kept us informed, entertained, and comfortable, making the long drive especially enjoyable for our family travelling with kids. Rocky Road tours had good communication throughout the whole process. Our driver Dalya was absolutely fantastic. She was a wealth of information on Australia and as far as local culture. She knew exactly where to take us and how long we needed to enjoy our time there. She was a great guide in Featherdale as well. If we ever had the opportunity to come back to Australia, she would be our first call! Professional friendly and informative !

Rocky was our tour guide, and he could not have been better. He was very friendly and fun. We had a group of 10, and Rocky stayed with the group throughout the tour. This was very helpful as Scenic World was very crowded and we wouldn’t have had a clue where to go or how to make the most of our time there without him. Highly recommend!

Rocky was so knowledgeable and helpful. My friend had an electric walker chair and he modified the trip to accommodate. Featherdale was great, feeding the wallabies was my favorite. Blue Mountains were simply breathtaking. I highly recommend this experience

Dalya was a wonderful and caring guide! She made sure that the itinerary for the day included everything that we wanted to see. First we drove out of Sydney from the cruise ship to Featherdale Zoo, which is a must-see for adults and kids wanting to see and feed Australian animals like kangaroos, wallabies, koalas, and birds. On the drive there, Dalya provided us with information about the sites we were seeing and answered our questions about living in the area. After Featherdale, we headed for Katoomba which is located in Blue Mountains. I had broken by glasses the day before and was now wearing them taped to my forehead. Dalya called ahead to an optical store in Katoomba to see if they might fix my glasses. We had lunch in this charming town and I was lucky enough to get my glasses fixed too! Next was scenic world where we rode a tram across the canyon to see the Australian Grand Canyon and the Three Sisters rock formation. It was a beautiful day so the views were spectacular! We hopped on the world's steepest railway which is an updated version of old mining cars for a mine which no longer functions. It was so much fun! When we drove back to Sydney in the early evening, we stopped at Mrs. Macquarie's Chair to see the backside of the Opera House from the peninsula's park. This is where most people like to watch the New Year's Eve fireworks in Sydney. It was a full day but conversation never lacked with Dalya. We will never forget her kindness and attention to detail! We highly recommend booking a tour with Rocky Road Tours.

This trip was designed just for us. We told Rocky what we wanted to see and the tour was planned accordingly. Our tour guide, Jem, was superb. Very knowledgeable and accommodating to our needs. He really made the tour special. This was so much better than crowded bus tours.

This tour was wonderful ! The blue mountains had spectacular views. The rides at Scenic World were exciting and fun. Rocky made the trip very informative and fun. He picked us up in his big 12 seater van from our hotel in Sydney. The ride was very comfortable. The visit to Featherdale zoo was also exciting as well as educational. The zoo had animals only native to Australia. The koalas, wallabies, wombats were so cute. The kangaroos were laid back but not unfriendly. A great experience not to be missed with a wonderful guide

Rocky is the best guide around! He was punctual, knowledgeable, and so easy to work with. He worked with us so we were able to do everything we wanted to do and hung out with us like one of our family. We had the best day and are so happy we took Rocky’s tour!

Traveled as a family of 4 with two elementary school-aged boys. The vehicle was clean and comfortable for the drive and it was a well-paced itinerary to keep the boys interested while allowing the parents to see the scenery. Dalya was great the whole day, capturing pictures of the family, recommending a lovely place for lunch, and making sure we were comfortable during the trip.

We 3 adults had a great day in the blue mts with Rocky. His van is very comfortable & clean & could accommodate even more people. He picked us up at 8:30 at the cruise port & dropped 1 off at the airport at 5pm & others at hotel so it worked out perfectly. Nice coffee stop & a lunch stop. Loved scenic world train ride!!

Book on a clear day. Change the day if you have the option cause it is all about the view. We booked Blue Mountain tour plus Featherdale and Scenic World. We started our tour in Feather dale. We still enjoyed looking and feeding some animals in spite of the non stop rain. Dalya our tour guide is very knowledgeable and guided us on how to approach the animals. We chose to go to this Zoo because the animals are all or mostly Australian natives. The Blue Mountain, the tram ride and Scenic World were disappointing because it was raining and foggy. We didn’t see the beautiful scenic and forests view at all. We were able to see the waterfall and it was nice to see the neighborhood around Blue Mountain. Dalya tried very hard to deliver. She was very sensitive to our needs by asking all the time if we need a bathroom break. She was a careful driver that made the ride very comfortable. She assisted me on steep and rocky areas when needed. It was unfortunate that the weather wasn’t good cause this could have been a 5+ star easily with the great tour guide. I highly recommend her as a tour guide because of her knowledge and professionalism.

I would highly recommend Rocky for this tour! It is totally customizable; you tell him what you’re interested in seeing and he’s more than accommodating. He doesn’t watch the clock and doesn’t rush you; we were more interested in seeing the sights than going to Featherdale so we did Scenic World instead, at our leisure. Afterwards we had some time and we love craft beer, so Rocky dropped us off at two separate breweries to do some samples. Afterwards we just texted him to come get us and he was there in 5 minutes. He’s very knowledgeable about the area and we enjoyed his commentaries. Since we were in Sydney for 5 days he did some research and found that there was an event at Scenic World the day of our scheduled visit so he suggested we change our date which worked out great, and the weather was better too. Also the route he took, we had the Blue Mountains overlooks totally to ourselves. He really organized it well. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him!

We (4 of us) did two tours with Rocky! An overview of Sydney (with all of the best views and vantage points) and The Blue Mountains (added Featherdale). Rocky was a skilled master. He also kept us smiling. We all agreed, we could not have found a better guide and better tours! WOW!

We booked with Rocky Road Tours after reading reviews on his tours on Viator.. I went to his web site and sent an email to ask all my questions. From the very first email Rocky was very quick to reply. From his communication I could tell he took pride of his business and his word made me fell safe booking with him. After having all my questions answered we decided to book 2 tours . The first was pre cruise to the Blue Mountains Private tour (Featherdale and Scenic World) and the second was post cruise. The second one was pick up from the cruise terminal, a city tour with Bondi Beach then drop off at the airport. On the first, our pre cruise tour it was a day of constant rain, We were able to visit Featherdale and got our photo with the koala. Unfortunately, after lunch it was pouring rain and we would not be able to see any thing at the Blue Mountain/ Scenic World. Rocky suggested we cancel Blue Mountains and head back to Sydney and do the City tour. We were able to see parts of the City tour but had to cut the day a bit short. During our tour, I asked if he could pick us up the next day at our hotel, and drop us off at the cruise port. I did not have per arranged car service to take us to the cruise port.. Rocky agreed to provide us the service at such last minute, He suggested he could pick us up early the next day and complete the city tour. Oh my goodness, that was unexpected and it worked out just perfect!! On our post cruise tour, Rocky picked us up at the cruise terminal, then took us to the Blue Mountain and Scenic World. After lunch we asked if we could go back to the city and we wanted to see the new Sydney Fish Market. Rocky agreed and he dropped us off right out side the building and when we were done with just a text he was right there to get us, then off to the airport! Rocky is very flexible to his customers interested. His knowledge of the area is excellent and he is so friendly, making you feel like you are a part of his family showing you his home city. He is an excellent driver, making it a very relaxing tour. I highly recommend Rocky Road Tours for all your ground transportation and tours! I know you will not be disappointed! Dalya brought us to all the great viewing spots. The ice cold waters, snacks and endless photos were nice touches to make this tour feel like our cousin was showing off her fav places. We didn’t have to think about a thing except how beautiful the scenery is. Dalya encouraged us to take our time enjoying as much as possible that the blue mountains have to offer. Even though she made us feel like family she still kept her professionalism. Our own paparazzi, keeping our interests and comfort number one priority. Very surreal! Blue Mountains was really breathtaking and worth the visit. Our family had an unforgettable travel experience. Big thanks to Kuya Rocky who was really good at his job. The views from Echo Point, overlooking the majestic Three Sisters and the endless forest canopy were beyond words. This was an amazing tour. We added on the Scenic World and Featherdale Zoo. The Blue mountains were beautiful. Scenic world was very busy but the views were stunning. Rocky was an amazing guide. He was very informative and brought us to many scenic views. There was water provided on the van and it was very clean/comfortable. Our entire group of 7 enjoyed the experience which included 4 teenagers.

We had a great time celebrating our parents 50th wedding anniversary at the Blue Mountain Tour with Rocky. He was very communicative, patient and accommodating to the needs of our family. We really enjoyed this tour! The sights were beautiful, and there was a good mix/variety to keep things interesting. Featherdale was a super unique opportunity to see native Australian animals, and Scenic World offered awe-inspiring views and hikes. The best part is that Rocky is extremely attentive, friendly, and flexible.

We had booked a private blue mountains tour for our family and from the minute Rocky showed up we knew the day was going to be good inside of the iffy weather. The man has exuberant energy and passion and loves what he does for a living and the energy is contagious. The vehicle is classy and. Very comfortable and he knew the best timing to see when and what during the day. He even went above and beyond to get us tickets for the cable car when we were having lunch so that we had ample time to go and be back. The highlight of the day was the cockatoo feeding in a secret spot he knew where the cockatoos climbed and perched on our shoulders. It was a fantastic day which ended aptly with a sumptuous feast in which Rocky joined as family. Next time in Sydney we won’t look beyond Rocky road tours and if you are heading to Sydney , do yourself a favour and ring him up , totally worth it!

I had amazing time with Rocky. He picked me up on time and never gave me the feeling to be rushed. We visited several sights in the blue mountains and the Featherdale park. At the end of my tour we went to meet wild cockatoos and had Ice-cream. Rocky is knowledgeable about the places we visited and was very organised. He also was prepared to change the Tour to suite my last minute wishes. I would definitely book this tour with him again. 10 out of 10.

We had a blast on a private excursion Rocky we felt like we had made a new friend. The scenery was beautiful and for an added bonus he called in a flock of cockatoos .
