30-minute Sydney Harbour Jet Boat Ride On Thunder Twist

Hubby and I are visiting Sydney overnight and have always wanted to do a jet boat ride. We had an AWESOME experience with Thunder Jet Boat. The guide Morgan was great and we felt really safe while having a TON of fun!! It was also informative too with him showing a couple of locations and pointing out homes of some well known people, etc. Zipping around the Opera House and under the Sydney Harbour bridge was iconic and we loved it. Definitely recommend for anyone thinking of doing the tour!! Prepare to get a bit wet ;)

Five stars! Loved the music on the boat, the twists the turns and the driver… all fab! A must do !!

Unforgettable, fun and exciting experience

Jet boat ride was far better than what we were expecting. It was a windy & choppy which added to the excitement. But we were all very wet even wearing the supplied protective jackets so best bring a change of clothes if possible. Guide Ryan was very good. Highly recommended for extreme adrenaline rush with heaps of screaming & laughter.

David was brilliant! We did the tour yesterday afternoon with our 2 children and we all had the best time. Looking at my 8yo daughter scream with delight as David manoeuvred the boat for maximum splash, was a moment etched into some of the happiest visions of my life. David really went out of his way to give us all a great time - many times turning around to check on my daughter, giving her high 5s and seeing which way to turn next. We sat in the second row, but any row would be great: wear a poncho if you don’t want to get soaked. Don’t wear a hat or wear one you don’t care about, like my son, and it will be added to the harbour.

Tommy was our driver he was absolutely fantastic 👏 my twin sister and me did it for our 68th and enjoyed every second, thanks Tommy 😊

Absolutely fantastic! Coming back dripping wet didn't bother us at all, it was all about the excitement. Bring a change of clothes & all is good in Thunder jetboat world...cheers

Absolute great experience. You can see beatiful views of the Sydney's Harbor and have a lot of fun with high speed and hear some great stories.

Excellent if you like a fast bumpy boat ride. You get quite wet. The boat driver started off quite gently but picked up the abrupt turns and stops once he has assessed the riders to see what he thought they could cope with. Well worth it. Do not go if you do not like getting wet and prefer smooth graceful boat rides. They do give you a plastic poncho to wear which keeps you mostly dry.

I went with a young man who I care for! We had the most amazing time! He absolutely loved it. It was a wonderful experience! Our driver Quinn went above and beyond to make our experience so special! Thank you Quinn. We really appreciate it! Quinn and the whole team were so efficient, attentive, kind and caring. I highly recommend this awesome adventure!

Amazing experience! Stunning views from the boat combined with high-speed thrills. Flying over boat wakes and doing 360s by the buoys was incredible. Yes, you will get a wet backside, but it’s totally worth it. Highly recommended! 👌🏼

We loved our experience with Thunder Jet boat Sydney! It was definitely the highlight of our Sydney holiday. We all loved the thrill of the jet boat and had the best time. John was amazing, he kept us informed before each trick and shared some great information about Sydney Harbour. The whole team was fantastic and so helpful. They assisted my mum, who has a knee problem, getting on and off the boat and John was very thoughtful with my aunty’s hearing difficulties, using hand signals to let her know when a trick was coming. Such a fun experience and definitely one of the best things to do in Sydney, no matter your age. Thank you to the whole team, especially John. We can’t wait to come back and do it again.

Had such a fun time on the Thunder Jet! The ride was exciting, fast, and honestly such a fun experience. The whole experience was well worth it and I’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a little adventure!

Our family of 3 enjoyed the thunder jet. You get a poncho and a life vest. Your face and hair will still get a little wet but not too bad (we sat in the middle row). The staff kindly assists you on and off the boat. I felt safe. You have the option to purchase video footage and/or photos upon return back to shore.

This was an absolute blast! Our guide John was great, spinning us all around and also sharing some fun facts. It was also great to sit in the boat and have a view of the Harbour bridge and Opera House together. Just gorgeous. Fair warning - you will get drenched! Come prepared. Highly recommend! So much fun.
