Veriu Green Square

Definitely not anything beyond a low tier business hotel. Stained sheets + doona. First hotel I've every stayed in that didn't have a tissue box or shower cap. Cleanliness on arrival was not great - a lot of dust around the Coffee machine in room. Water pumps are absurdly loud, and of course in the middle of the night. Highly unlikely I'd see myself staying here again. The proximity to Green Square station is all it has going for it. Also, I'm fine to pay $65 for parking but it was a complete shock that it's not even a secure carpark, literally just a space at the back of the building.

I have to travel a lot for work, so having a comfortable motel is important to me. I absolutely love this place and will be staying here everytime I am in Sydney. It has the comfiest beds, nice rooms, great water pressure, and is conveniently located right near the train station. The staff are also really friendly and very accommodating.

We stayed in room 125 on May 21-25. We had paid over 60 days in advance to be told when we turned up at reception that we needed to pay $100 bond. Nothing unusual. But no paper work was signed stating this (RED FLAG). On departure they had confusion on parking thinking that we had an outstanding balance to pay for 4 nights of parking. We did not park there and informed them of this mistake. They said “we should see our bond back in a couple days”. We have not seen the money come back. Since then they have avoiding returning our calls more than 3 times. Never had any reply to our emails. It’s been 3 weeks. We can’t dispute the charge with the bank as there was no paper work signed for the bond. Pretty bloody scammy if you ask me. Feeling ripped off by this place. Some one get in contact with me ASAP if you work for this establishment.

First time back in Sydney in quite a while, and after getting off an early morning flight we headed straight to the hotel hoping to drop our bags off. Luckily, we were very well accommodated by Bikash, who helped make an early check-in possible and ensured everything went smoothly from the start The only minor issue during our stay was some maintenance work involving the installation of air filters in the room, where the ceiling access hatch had been closed and accidentally been left unlocked where it then eventually flung open which scared my girlfriend. However, this was resolved quickly once brought to attention We stayed in one of the kitchenette rooms and overall it has met and in many ways exceeded our initial expectations. There are some slight signs of wear and tear throughout the room, though nothing dealbreaking by any means, and addressing these over time would simply make the experience even better. One small suggestion would be adding a few more wall hooks in the bedroom and bathroom areas for coats, towels, or clothes in addition to the wardrobe space. Overall, we’ve genuinely really enjoyed our stay here. We were originally considering moving to another hotel partway through the trip, but ended up deciding to extend our stay instead because the experience has been such a positive one. We also had a bit of a mismatch with our follow up booking, but Vivek was incredibly friendly and helpful and assisted us with staying with our current room, which we’re very very grateful for Big shoutout to both Bikash and Vivek for their hospitality and help throughout our stay.
