Room was outdated, not worth the $599 for one night. It was basically an average motel room. Not overly clean either. Very basic room, had a great view of the harbour bridge but that's the only plus, could hear traffic, sirens etc. No complementary water or snacks of any kind, just sachet coffee. I'd look elsewhere in the future.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! Travelling with an assistance dog can sometimes come with logistical hurdles, but the team here made it completely stress-free. We simply provided the necessary documentation and details before our arrival, and everything was seamless from the moment we walked through the door. Check in: super fast, smooth, and welcoming. Staff: warm, friendly, and accommodating. Rooms: spacious, and comfortable. Views: breathtaking, unobstructed views of the harbour and opera house. Location was amazing. Walking distance to plenty of restaurants/pubs. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend!
Sydney Boulevard Hotel is great value for money, especially considering its location. It's close enough to many of Sydney's attractions, making it easy to get around without spending too much time travelling. The room was spacious and comfortable, with enough space even if you're staying for a few days. If your budget allows, I'd recommend paying a little extra for a room with a view of the Sydney Opera House. Waking up to that iconic view is definitely worth the premium. Overall, a solid hotel with a great location, comfortable rooms, and good value for money. I'd happily stay here again on my next trip to Sydney.
I stayed here on one night and particularly was looking forward to stay in a room with Harbour views. Terrible check in experience, receipt staff were unfriendly and unprofessional. Checked in around 11pm. I think they were night shift staff and they were already pissed off about late shift. Regardless as a hotel guest I want to check in where I can get a good service. If I was a hotel manager I will monitor how hotel staff talk and managing hotel guest. Please give them more training and set an expectation. Hotel room should have been more clear and updated with clear carpets and comfortable beds. Rooms were not cheap, for $290 a night room should be clear and updated. I would have given one star but during checkout in the morning front desk staff were excellent. Therefore, I'm going to give this hotel 2 star. If I had good experience during check in I would have consider staying at this hotel again.
No doubt that The Sydney Boulevard Hotel is showing its age, but what it may lack in modern décor, it more than makes up for with its fantastic location and genuine hospitality. The hotel is conveniently situated within walking distance of Metro Woolworths, cafés, restaurants, public transport, and many of Sydney's key attractions. Whether you're visiting for business or leisure, it's hard to complain about the convenience. The highlight of my stay was the warm welcome from the front desk team. If I remembered her name correctly, Lee guided me through the entire check-in process with professionalism, patience, and a friendly smile. After a long journey, that personal touch made a positive first impression and set the tone for the stay. My room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. While the furnishings may be a little dated, the room was well maintained and offered one thing that many newer hotels struggle to provide — space. The harbour and city views from the room were an added bonus, especially in the evening when Sydney lights up. If you're looking for a luxury boutique experience, this may not be it. However, if you value location, comfort, friendly service, and great views at a reasonable price point, The Sydney Boulevard Hotel is definitely worth considering. I would happily stay here again on my next visit to Sydney.
