One of the worst rooms I've ever stayed in had mould in the bathroom and shower. If you want a glass of water you're using the tap 50 cm from the toilet. Wi-Fi was terrible when I stayed. Was kept up all night with traffic noise. Not to mention you can hear everybody outside your room moving around no installation in any of the rooms. Room was very small. Nothing to make yourself a meal or any appliances. You're only given a cattle which you can't fill up as the only tap is right next to the toilet where do you wash your hands doesn't fit under. Cost over 410 for the night stayed here for two nights ranks as the worst of stayed in.

Very convenient location for the hospitals and university, and a short walk to Coogee with great transport connections. But my room was terrible. Room 7 is located in the basement with windows onto the main road (Belmore Road), which is noisy 24/7. The road also has a loose manhole cover that bangs like thunder every time a car drives over it, shaking the room all hours. The room was surface clean. As in, on the surface it was clean, but look closer, and the extraction vents were clogged with years of dust. The ceiling in the bathroom was covered with black mould. Fixtures and fittings were chipped and rusty. While an iron and ironing board and kettle were provided, there was only one electrical outlet available in the room (the other two had the bedside lamps plugged in) and it is in the bathroom. The room is large but lacks the details you would expect from a 4* hotel - no luggage rack, tiny table, no other furniture to make the room somewhere you might spend any time other than to just sleep. I just needed somewhere to sleep for 2 nights while attending a conference and I wasn’t needed to spend much time in the room. But any longer and it would have been miserable.
Stayed recently as I had an upcoming stay for surgery at the women's ward nearby and this was one hotel that was recommended. Staying here after being discharged wasn't the best idea. The stairs outside in the courtyard are tripping hazards and just a bit much if you can't walk very well or far. The bathroom door on those rooms takes up any room left in the bathroom because they are exceptionally tiny and it's a little awkward to maneuver when recovering. Any other rooms also seemed like they were up or down a large flight of stairs. So it's something to consider. Otherwise the courtyard room was okay. Bed was decently comfy, not too much noise and the hotel is also a nice distance to a lot of good food options and regular stores. Plus the side gate exit to the street was helpful for being picked up when leaving.
Very convenient location, close to shops and supermarkets. Rooms and bathrooms are clean which is always a bonus. The rooms have a small fridge and kettle but no microwave, so another consideration if you're planning on eating and preparing meals in the room. If you're on the bigger side, be warned that the showers are a tight squeeze with the screen door! The parking onsite is limited but space is limited so be aware if you have a big car and it costs $30 a day.
REVOLTING room and a underwhelming response to my feedback. I had the dungeon room under the corner of the main road. This hotel is eye wateringly expensive for a room under a main road. Room is cleanish. The bonus black hair in the bathroom and black mould were touches we could have done without. The room was also by the garbage room with a dirty towel left hanging in the courtyard. Luckily I had my own ice packs to keep the fridge cold. There is a wall outside the windows and the blinds do not shut out light. Please read reviews very carefully and do not book a $400 studio.
