Been here twice, each time for a week. Superb location, but with a few gaps. Rectangular glass holder in the shower for shower products has sharp corners, dangerous in a wet and slippery environment. Shower glass door opens outward all the way until it hits the toilet seat beside it, posing safety hazard to family with children. Mattresses sink in the middle, perhaps too old. Otherwise, room cleanliness is very good. Breakfast is decent. Staff service in all departments is good. Exercise bikes in the gym are both defective.

Swissotel Sydney has become our favourite place to stay whenever we come to Sydney, especially when we’re seeing a show at the Theatre Royal. The location is perfect — right in the heart of the CBD. We always find the rooms spacious, spotless and incredibly comfortable. The staff are always friendly, welcoming and genuinely helpful, with the concierge team being especially wonderful. We’ve also enjoyed breakfast, dinner and cocktails here and have always had a great experience. There can be a wait for the lifts during busy times, but it’s only a minor issue. We absolutely love staying here and will definitely be back. It really feels like our little home away from home in Sydney! ❤️
perfect place to stay thanks to its excellent location. It’s conveniently close to Darling Harbour, major shopping centres, and many of Sydney’s top attractions. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, making for a pleasant stay. The breakfast offered a good variety of options and was enjoyable. Overall, it’s a great hotel for travelers looking for comfort and convenience in the heart of the city.
We recently stayed at the Swissotel as a family of four in an Executive Twin Room and found it to be excellent value for money. The room was spacious and comfortable, with plenty of space for our family without feeling cramped. The heated pool was a highlight, especially for the kids, and the small but well-equipped gym, with a Peloton bike and a good selection of free weights, made it easy to fit in a workout. The main drawbacks were that one lift was out of service, which caused delays at busy times, and the breakfast was fairly average, with limited variety. Overall, the spacious rooms, family-friendly facilities and great value make this a hotel we’d happily stay at again.
Great hotel. We had an issue with noise from works occuring on floor above us which was surprising but the manager did everything she could to look after us and put a stop to the works for duration of the stay. It was our 30th wedding anniversary and we had a lovely bottle of champagne presented in our room with a nice message from the hotel. Will defintely go back.
