Rydges World Square

I had a lovely stay at Rydges World Square, Sydney. The hotel was comfortable, welcoming and conveniently located. The room was clean, well maintained and very comfortable throughout my stay. A special mention to the housekeeping team, who were friendly, attentive and did a great job keeping the room fresh and tidy. Their attention to detail really made the stay more enjoyable. The staff were also helpful and pleasant, and overall I had a very positive experience. I would happily stay at Rydges again and recommend it to others visiting Sydney.

Location was prime. Easy walk to trams, trains, metro and buses. Also, the hotel is located essentially at the doorstep of Chinatown and all that delicious food! Staff were friendly. Check-in was smooth. Concierge staff were knowledgeable. Rooms were clean but might be due for some works. Beds were comfortable. No view. Very basic. The $5pp buffet breakfast package was pretty decent - considering a standard cup of coffee would cost more than that! We also opted for a $10/day room credit over housekeeping coming in and used this on happy hour at the lounge bar! Overall a good stay and would definitely come again!

My family of 4 had a great 6 night stay recently. The location was perfect for us, we could walk to a lot of what we wanted to do, or walk to Museum station (5 mins) and be at Cirulcur Quay in 2 stops. We were in a family room, and having the additional space for our two tweens to be in thier own beds was fantastic! The room only has 4 stars as the shower water came over the small lip at the door and we needed to mop up after each shower, but it wasnt a deal breaker. We had a deal with breakfast, and it was fantiastic, a lot of hot options, patries, cereal, fruit yoghurt - a great way to start each day. We left items in the hotel safe after we checked out, only realising at the airport and with one phone call they had retrieved the items and have express posted them to us (we had the notifiaction from Aus Post within 2 hours of our call to the hotel). I would happily stay here again.

Please read the whole review. I would LOVE to give 5 stars but an issue with our room means I can't. The issue was dealt with professionally. A second issue arose with a staff member entering our room while we were indisposed but again, management took full responsibility and compensated us accordingly. The rooms were spacious, very clean and well stocked. Staff were highly trained (except one lady managing morning breakfast area) and went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. We will happily stay here again.
