Rydges Parramatta

Overall, our stay at Rydges Parramatta was excellent. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the check-in and check-out systems were very smooth and advanced. The Wi-Fi was also great throughout our stay. The king bed was amazing — very comfortable, and the pillows were excellent as well. We had a great sleep and were very happy with the main bed. There were a few things that could be improved, though. There seemed to be air coming in through the window even when it was closed and appeared to be sealed. The windows were also a little dirty. The extra bed that comes out from the sofa was usable, but it wasn’t completely flat, with some parts higher and lower than others. The TV was a little difficult to figure out. It looked like it might have been a smart TV, but we couldn’t figure out how to access YouTube or other streaming services, or whether they were available at all. The bathroom had a few issues too. The sinks took quite a long time to drain, and the toilet water sometimes continued running unless we pressed the flush button again. The rubbish bin was also quite small for a king bedroom. Housekeeping was a little inconsistent. On the first day, we requested room service and both beds were tidied, but the first time they serviced the room, they didn’t leave any towels or bath mats, so we had to collect them from reception. On the second day, towels were provided, and the king bed was made, but the other bed wasn’t tidied. The indoor pool and spa were enjoyable, and the sauna was amazing. However, there was some brown stuff in the spa, including around the corners/walls and in the water. This should definitely be checked and cleaned. Despite these issues, we really enjoyed our stay. The comfortable king bed and pillows, amazing sauna, excellent Wi-Fi, friendly staff, smooth check-in/check-out, and overall experience made it a very good stay. With some improvements to the windows, bathroom maintenance, housekeeping consistency, TV, and spa cleanliness, the experience could be even better. Overall, we had a great stay and would be happy to consider Rydges Parramatta again.

Great value for money hotel. Well priced easy parking, service has been top notch. Everyone is friendly and a shout out to Karen who handled our reservation promptly. Service is fast and friendly. Rooms a good size. Pool is great as is the heated spa. Aircon in room can be noisy when it turns on and off.

Stayed in the Panorama suite. I thought the room was really nice, parking was easy, however it was extremely noisy all night, freight trucks passing constantly. It wouldve been nice to know this, perhaps the cheaper rooms with less windows on the opposite side of the building wouldve been quieter. Not great when you have a work training course early the following morning.

Stayed here for origin game one overnight stay. Room was nice & perfect for the two of us. Water pressure wasn't the best in one of the basin taps & breaky was average had to buy coffee as the machine was broken. Lobby was nice just wish the bar stayed open late considering most guests were going to the origin game that night and coming back to nothing open. Check in process was friendly and easy & it was a comfortable stay that night. Great location very close to the city & nice and quiet in the evening cheers
