I made an error on date and should have booked a month later than I did. 100% my error. However, my issue is with communication. I normally get bombarded with text and emails about travel booking with reminders and other information about my stay. Not this place. Just charge to the credit card. No call, text or emails. Not even a invoice sent. Once again, this was my mistake but unacceptable comms makes this a avoid. Also, when contact about it I was told sorry, not our problem and nothing we can do but if I had contact prior to the booking maybe they could. Well maybe contact guests before so they can...
Very good location. Unfortunately the room we had was not great. Directly about a 24hr carpark, we had noise of cars coming and going ALL night.While the room was well appointed, it was old, and there was a very funky smell in both bathrooms and the main bedroom. Ceilings are super low. Would stay again, but not on level 3 or 4.
Rooms were clean and up to date. Good customer service with parking available if required. Close to the Capital Theatre, central train station and other attractions easily accessible via light rail.
I think this place is fantastic, and I honestly don't get why the ratings are so low. The room was clean, had a full kitchen, and I could easily cook my own meals. It was also quite spacious. The location is perfect—so close to Thai Town and just a short walk from Central Station. It’s so convenient that the low reviews really baffle me. You can check the photos; the room I stayed in wasn't bad at all, unlike what some other reviews claimed.
It's a nice enough hotel with everything you'd expect. It's clean and the staff are friendly. The overall place is a bit run down, the rooms are tired and need a refresh (remodelling and a lick of paint). The ac unit in the room was so loud and there's stains on the carpet. Nice amenities, comfy bed and the most powerful shower pressure in the world.
