Why are the staff so grumpy? Wrong industry perhaps? Had better service at the train station. There is NO pool or gym. They are in adjacent buildings and the hotel staff don’t seem to be all over how/when to access facilites. Our room overlooked a car park. 15 min walk to nearest train.
Being a hotel outside the city I didn't expect it to be anything too special. Yo uget what you pay for. However, my wife is coeliac (Gluten Free) and this hotel doesn't have acceptable options for this day and age. We had to "special request" gluten free toast. Took 20 mins. Aside from food that is by nature GF there was no effort at all to cater for this. Mt wife doesn't choose to be coeliac, it's a disease. She pays the same as your other patrons. Do better.
Handy location for shows & the gymnastics centre. Comfortable beds & the staff is lovely. They’re doing renovations so there was a paint smell in the hall but this didn’t extend to the room so it was fine. The curtains were, a choice. Someone decided that crime scene chic was the vibe & put curtains that look like blood spatter in the room. It’s weird & creepy but also a little funny. On site restaurant is excellent for dinner & acceptable for breakfast. Not having somewhere to heat up waffles & croissants was disappointing & the included coffee is awful. You can buy decent coffee at the bar if you want though.

Friendly reception staff. Easy check in and check out. Friendly and helpful housekeeping staff. Large room with comfortable beds. Large bathroom. Close to RSL club. Nice buffet breakfast. Ample parking including several Disability parking spots located close to entry so very good for people with limited mobility or for guests using a wheelchair. Would definitely stay here again.
