Our room was large, and the bed very comfortable. We go to this hotel quite a lot and it’s always a pleasant stay. Our room even had a reading light over the bed and the TV was easy to use & provided access to Foxtel which suited us just fine. My only suggestion would be to give the attached club a big miss.

The Mercure Sydney Liverpool offers a reliable and highly convenient stay in Sydney's south-west. Situated in Prestons, its standout feature is its direct connection to the Liverpool Catholic Club. This integration gives guests seamless access to an impressive array of entertainment options right on their doorstep, including a broad selection of restaurants, bars, and even an indoor ice-skating rink. The rooms are modern, spacious, and well-maintained. Guests frequently praise the premium pillow-top beds, high standard of cleanliness, and dependable hot water system. Excellent air conditioning ensures a comfortable climate year-round. Outside, the property features a well-designed swimming pool area alongside a children's pool and a fully equipped fitness centre. Ample free self-parking is a major perk, though spaces can fill up quickly in the evenings due to club patrons. While breakfast at the on-site restaurant, The Atrium, has received mixed notes regarding variety later in the morning, the overall service from the front desk and housekeeping staff remains friendly, efficient, and professional. It is a top-tier choice for families, business travellers, or anyone looking for a comfortable, amenity-packed base with easy highway access in the Liverpool area.
Mercure Sydney Liverpool was a really enjoyable stay. The hotel was clean, modern, and comfortable, with spacious rooms and a very relaxing atmosphere. The bed was comfortable, the room was quiet, and everything felt well maintained. Staff were friendly and welcoming, making check-in and check-out smooth and easy. One of the best parts was the location connected to the Liverpool Catholic Club, which gave easy access to restaurants, cafes, and entertainment without needing to travel far. Free parking was also a big bonus. The pool and gym facilities were great additions, especially for a longer stay. If I had to mention one downside, it would be that it’s a little further from central Sydney, but for staying in Liverpool it’s an excellent choice. Overall, Mercure Sydney Liverpool offers great value, comfort, and convenience. I would definitely stay there again and would recommend it to families, couples, or anyone needing accommodation in the Liverpool area.
This place is perfect. The lobby is large and modern with quick and easy service and the rooms are elegant and clean. The bathroom was modern and great shower pressure. The hallways for the rooms had beautiful carpet and looked high quality and even the pool was a nice relaxing edition. As I do have kids, I loved the Liverpool Catholic Club as It has a unique and large playground with a wonderful foodery selection was astonishing with two ice cream bars. Would highly recommend.
Mercure Liverpool is well-located, with plenty of car parking spaces if taking a rental car. However, I found housekeeping very poor in attention to detail. Our room was dusty with cobwebs and plates from the last guest left behind in the sink drawer. Shower edges with mould and dirty build-up. In my opinion, it just came down to poor housekeeping management. We stayed in our room for 11 days and had to ask for it to be vacuumed halfway. Daily, they would just replace towels and tidy up the bed. No extra cleaning of the bathroom. I did bring this to their attention at the time and was offered a free breakfast, which was nice.
