Mercure Sydney Blacktown

This is my 2nd stay at the hotel for business and I cannot commend the front of house staff enough , always a smile and a hello on entry or when you walk past staff . Sher is amazing , so polite and accomodating. My room was quite comfortable . Breakfast was quite nice and the coffee was from front reception exceptional My only issue would be that there was no face washers in the bathroom. I will continue to use this hotel when I travel for work

Had cancelled flights by the airline and delayed i kept contact with the hotel and they were very professional and friendly and accommodating. However was abit suprised with the room. No bowls to eat from no cutlery no microwave. No toaster even. Its probably something to consider for the rooms esp given not everyone can afford $30 each for breakfast buffet every morning . You find a toaster and many otber things in motel rooms for half the price i paid to stay at Mercure. Also the small microwave you have in the laundry is abit rusty on the inside of the door along the bottom. Not very accommodating when your on a higher level and have to leave the room. Suggestions for in room food services. I ordered chips and nuggets for my daughter. They were inedible so much salt and a tangy taste on them. Same with my fried rice and sweet n source pork. The pork was rubbery and the sauce was so tangy I couldnt eat it and had a very odd spice on it. The rice was very dry. For $51 I should have gone to McDonald's just across the road. Room service cleaning. Beds were made but rubbish was left behind. Beds were super comfy though.

A big thank you to the staff, very accomodating when we walked in for breakfast with my family from overseas. They have a wide variety of food options such as gluten free and vegetarian, also its child friendly place where they provide high chair for kids. Will recommend this place with family and friends.

The triple bed room was in an uncleared state when we checked in. There was dust on the plate and stain on the spoon and the tissue box was nearly empty. AC was a bit noisy and so was the room facing the worker club. Thankfully the live music stopped after 11pm so that we finally could have some sleep. Bring your own slippers because they don’t supply. You can ask the reception for toothbrushes though.
