Our room was very comfortable, everything we needed. The o ly thing that would have been good was a map of the area and what was in the club, where the meals were and where the banquet breakfast was. The staff were very helpful a d polite. If needed we will stay again.

The rooms are clean and well stocked for tea and coffee. The bed was super comfortable. Sitting directly above Bankstown Sports Club, its just a quick trip down the elevator to a broad range of restaurants, bars and entertainment. The building also has a Bulk Medical Centre and Pharmacy, as well as San Churro for delicious chocolates and Churros for dessert!
The room was great, it being in the Bankstown sports center with access to the restaurants is very convenient. The check in process was great, checkout with card dropping was very easy as well and front desk staff were very sweet. I had the breakfast buffet and it was pretty up to standards. However, the bathroom was a major issue. The towels has musty smell, the water in the shower had a sewerage smell, I took two showers and both time felt same thing, the shower glass screen had mold in the corner, so did the corner tiles and there was no body soap in the dispenser. My guests in other rooms also agreed to same feedback on bathrooms. Another thing was that there was continuous elevator issues, them being slow/getting stuck, etc. and I'm hoping its just a one time maintenance thing.
Terrible experience at this place. Not worthy of the Mercure brand. Nothing but noise and useless service. Walls are paper thin, no access stairs because 1 elevator was broken for 5 nights straight. 1 washing machine between at least 2 or 3 floors. Room wasn’t made up to standard when I first went in, bin liner out, pillow cases sitting on bed, one towel, no bath mat. One day the bed wasn’t even made. Buffet breakfast was inedible, eggs like soup, bacon not even cooked properly, potato gems????? Breakfast sausage that had the consistency of a salami. Definitely one of the worst hotels I’ve stayed at for supposedly having a reputable name
Only one lift working and it's taking forever to get up and down. Definitely not suitable for the amount of floors and guests. Rang ahead of booking to ensure food would be able to be made coeliac safe and told yes. Then upon arriving that's not the case at any of their resturants. Was kept up until 2am by noisy guests. Lights in our room not working/ flickering and bathroom is too small to actually get to the toilet with the door blocking it. The waterfall section in the middle is the only redeeming aspect.
