Totally fine for a one night stay near the airport. It's an easy walk from SYD, the WiFi works well, the beds are comfy, but keep in mind that the rooms are quite noisy due to street noise outside. Rooms are a bit on the small side and the restaurant (one of the only eating options in the area) it's pricey. Again; totally fine for a one nights stay.

The room was freezing! There was no doona, just a sheet and a blanket in the middle of winter. The bed itself was okay. Unfortunately, the cleanliness was very disappointing. There was a used face washer left in the bathroom when we checked in, and overall the room was very poorly cleaned. For the price we paid, the whole experience had a very budget feel. We’ve genuinely stayed in two-star hotels in rural Thailand that were cleaner and better presented. One of the main reasons we chose this hotel was for the breakfast buffet, but unfortunately that was also very average, fried noodles was burnt. Honestly, you would be better off staying at a budget hotel and using the money you save to go out for a much nicer breakfast elsewhere. I’m genuinely not sure how this hotel has a four-star rating, as that was definitely not our experience. That said, the location is very convenient for Sydney Domestic Airport. The shuttle was $12 per person and was convenient, with friendly and helpful service. The staff at reception and throughout the hotel were also attentive, friendly and helpful, and we certainly can’t fault them. Unfortunately, while the staff were lovely, the hotel itself was disappointing and did not come close to meeting our expectations of a four-star hotel.
I recently stayed at the Mantra Sydney Airport before an early morning flight, and it was an excellent choice. The hotel is so close to the airport that there were no concerns about traffic, and it was an easy walk—even for someone in their 60s. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and surprisingly quiet. I couldn't hear any airport noise at all, which made for a great night's sleep. The restaurant offers a good variety of meals, and the staff were friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. Best of all, the price was very reasonable for the quality and convenience. For comparison, we had previously stayed at the Four Seasons Sydney. While it cost considerably more, we found the condition of the hotel, particularly the carpets and some of the common areas, to be quite disappointing. If you're looking for a comfortable, quiet, well-priced hotel close to Sydney Airport, I would happily recommend the Mantra Sydney Airport.
Reception and check in fast and excellent, lovely staff. Room size is bigger than you'd expect for an airport hotel. If you like planes it's a full wall window of a runway. Everything is immaculate and modern. Huge bed. Crisp linen, big fat pillows. Bathroom 110% new and clean. Restaurant and bar downstairs. I noticed a lot of takeaways so they must do something great. Lots of people dining and a great vibe.
It was a last minute travel plan and was so nice and close to airport for early morning flight, has shuttle bus service. There is plenty of room, was very comfortable. Could maybe do with some cutlery ie, fork, knife. But over all very satisfied
