Really nice rooms at a reasonable price, they do happy hour and have cheap cocktails on the weekends. There is a bus stop straight outside that will take you straight to the city about a half hour ride to central and trains are a 10 minute uber away. Road noise can be a bit much at times but is usually just low background noise and the hotel is not really placed well if you intend to spend a lot of time in the city. A car would have been handy but we didn't need one in the end.

The best, cleanest, and newest hotel in Sydney! 🏨👑 This is honestly the best hotel I have ever stayed at in Sydney! It is incredibly clean and feels completely brand new. ✨ The rooms are absolutely legendary, especially with the amazing hardwood floors. The TV setup was great for just hanging out and relaxing in the room. 📺🪵 The breakfast was really good, and having our own parking spot was a massive plus. 🍳🚗 We honestly felt like kings staying here! Highly recommend! 👑💯
I recently stayed at this hotel and was disappointed with the overall experience. The room was very noisy due to traffic from the main road, and the heavy room doors slammed shut throughout the night, repeatedly waking me and disturbing my sleep. I also found the reception management to be quite rude, not only towards me but also towards other guests and even members of the housekeeping team. It created an unwelcoming atmosphere. The room itself did not meet the standard I expected. When I opened the window to let in some fresh air, dust blew out from underneath the bed and circulated around the room, suggesting it hadn't been cleaned thoroughly. The flooring was also a concern. The hard floorboards had no rugs or mats, which could become slippery after a shower and present a safety hazard. Breakfast was basic and disappointing. Overall, for a relatively new hotel, it felt cheaply finished and lacking attention to detail. Unfortunately, that impression extended beyond the building itself to the level of customer service. I hope management takes this feedback on board and works to improve both the facilities and the guest experience.
On arrival, the receptionist was informative and accommodating with my early arrival, allowing me to wait comfortably while I recharged my phone. It was a thoughtful gesture that was genuinely appreciated and made me feel welcome from the moment I walked through the door. The room was modern, spotlessly clean, and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and despite being close to public transport, the room was nice and quiet, making for a great night's sleep. For the purpose of my trip, Haberfield Hotel was in the perfect location. Having public transport right on the doorstep made getting around Sydney simple and convenient, and everything I needed was within easy reach. There was also a Woolworths just up the road, which was really handy for picking up snacks and drinks to keep in the room's fridge during my stay. All of the staff were welcoming and friendly throughout my stay. I would definitely choose to stay here again and would happily recommend Haberfield Hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and conveniently located place to stay.
We stayed here for a week as we were having our place renovated in nearby Five Dock. We found the staff extremely friendly and helpful. The room was always maintained, clean with fresh linen and towels when requested. Breakfast was a good continental breakfast available every day. We really enjoyed the proximity to Haberfield -main street Ramsay street close to restaurants and cafes. We stayed in a standard twin at the back away from Parramatta road-a good idea if you can choose this option. (Room 311, it was very quiet.) Great time, it was busy every day we were there, we would recommend this hotel. Thanks for a great stay.
