202 Elizabeth Hotel

Fabulous location walking distance from trains, trams and bus stops virtually on the doorstep. The hotel is truly boutique with a cute cafe style lobby area which doubles as the breakfast nook. Breakfast is simple continental, but there’s enough variation to suffice. Barista coffees are made to order and were delicious. The rooms are modern and well laid out. No closet as someone pointed out, but there’s plenty of hanging room on the rack next to the mini bar. Bathroom is spacious with room to lay out toiletries, something a lot of modern hotels lack. We spent some time on the rooftop and had perfect weather for it which was nice. There is a wine shop adjacent to the lobby where we were recommended a fabulous Shiraz which we enjoyed so much that we went back for a second bottle during our stay. We loved our 2 night stay here! So many lovely touches like how beautiful the main reception area is, the music they had playing matched the feel of the hotel so nicely, the wine tasting of an evening. We arrived a few hours early and asked if we could store our bags, Dylan, the Guest Services Supervisor was an absolute pleasure to speak with throughout our stay and even managed to work some magic and upgrade us to a room with a cute little balcony that was ready for us to check in to right away. The room had everything you could need for a weekend away and considering the location, was very quiet, thanks to the double layered door to the balcony. Breakfast was the best included breakfast I have had at any hotel with barista coffee and delicious bakery treats as my personal highlight. The staff were so friendly and Dylan also recommended some amazing places to eat and explore nearby as well as helping us find the best ways to get to our plans we had booked. 202 Elizabeth St will always be our first choice if we visit this area of Sydney again!

This hotel feels like a quintessential Sydney hidden gem. From the street, it's just an unassuming door, but step inside and a real treasure reveals itself. Beautifully styled and full of character, the hotel has a warm, welcoming atmosphere with thoughtful details throughout. The rooms are comfortable and inviting, the rooftop area is gorgeous. The staff are genuinely friendly and incredibly helpful. The location is fantastic. It is just a short walk from Central Station, within easy walking distance of many of Sydney’s many attractions, and well connected to public transport for exploring anywhere in the city. The continental breakfast was outstanding (lots on offer) and the coffee was excellent. It's the kind of place that makes your stay feel special from the moment you arrive. A wonderful find and somewhere we'd happily stay again. Highly recommended.

I recently stayed at 202 Elizabeth Boutique Hotel in Sydney and had a very pleasant experience overall. There was an issue with the bed in my original room, but the staff handled the situation professionally and promptly. A special thank you to Dylan, who was extremely helpful, understanding, and went above and beyond to resolve the problem. He arranged a room upgrade, which made the rest of my stay much more comfortable and enjoyable. The customer service was excellent, and I really appreciated how quickly the team addressed my concern. Thanks again to Dylan and the hotel manager & staff for their outstanding hospitality.
