Swakopmund Lifestyle Hotel Apartments

A fantastic venue and accommodation place, what is advertised is exactly like the brochures. Perfectly situated and easy to get to from anywhere in Swakopmund, definitely worth visiting and staying at. From the entire group who stayed there were two rooms that were not entirely satisfied, one without hot water and the other no room service.

What a gorgeous place. From the service to the views. Absolutely magical experience. Waking up to see the dunes in the mist was just breathtaking. So comfortable and relaxing to stay here. Truly easy access everything is in walking distance and it is so safe here. I really had an amazing stay here.

I had a fantastic stay at Desert Sands Boutique Hotel in Swakopmund. The hotel is beautiful, very clean and neat, and you can see real care has gone into every detail. The staff were friendly and welcoming, which made my stay even more enjoyable. Breakfast was delicious and clearly prepared with love. The rooms are well equipped with Netflix and limited DStv, and the kitchen has a stove and everything you need to prepare your own meals. The location is perfect, within walking distance of Altstadt Restaurant, Kücki's Pub, and the Swakopmund Jetty. An awesome place to stay in Swakopmund. Highly recommended!

Someone attempted a smash and grab on my vehicle at 3am this morning while parked in the parking lot. Such unnecessary expenses for me and the workers didn't seem too worried. The gate was not working yesterday so any criminal can just manually open and get in. The criminal seen on the cameras was walking around for 20 minutes so its clear they don't have security or the security is sleeping. On top of that, the police mentioned that this is the second incident in 3 weeks here and they've already spoken to the management. The parking lot is also extremely narrow if you have a pickup truck/bakkie. On the outside it looks nice, but the rooms are in a bad way. Things are broken. The only reason for 1 star was the breakfast and friendly workers at breakfast. Reception were very unhelpful so we arrived on a bad note. They gave our rooms to the wrong people and then dumped us into room 11. The shower door was broken, tv wasn't working, bathroom had a bad smell, fridge was smelling, lots of flies. Feels like the room was not used in a long time. Rather find a better accommodation.
