Small Guesthouse located near city center. Rooms were clean and ok but quite outdated (especially bathroom). No air conditioning so it was really hot in our room, had to open the windows at night but there are no insect screens, which resulted in lots of mosquitos in the room… Staff was friendly and helpfull, breakfast ok!

Namib Guesthouse made us feel welcome immediately. The family room was spacious and comfortable, and the overall atmosphere was warm and inviting. We were grateful for the thoughtful tips and local advice.

We stayed at Namib Guesthouse in August 2025 and it was a great experience. Rooms are spacious and well equipped and all staff are friendly and trying to help with every need (e.g. restaurant bookings). The location of the guesthouse is great, you can walk into Swakopmund city center in a few minutes. They also provide safe parking. Breakfast is plenty and very tasty. We would definitely recommend staying here.
