The St. Regis Qingdao

For a Regis, it is just fine. View is great, room is good, service is great - all you can expect for a Regis. Gym is good with great view.

Very nice hotel but spoiled by subsidised groupon travellers and tour groups. The lift was constantly full of groups of senior guests looking like from tour groups. Breakfast buffet was like a marketplace with uncivilised people who empties protein bars from display jars into her bag... Also saw someone emptied the decorative fruit bowl from the gym. It is perhaps the one of the cheapest St Regis you can stay anywhere in the world but I would advise against anyone who are used to St Regis quality choosing this place. The chef customised dinner at Yan Ting restaurant was a let down as well, had better takeaways than some of the dishes!

Additionally, we were deeply touched by the beautiful anniversary cake set thoughtfully prepared for our special occasion. The arrangement was elegantly decorated, wonderfully presented, and absolutely delicious. Every detail reflected great care and impeccable taste, making our celebration truly memorable. From housekeeping to dining, front desk to guest services, every department operated with seamless excellence. We were impressed by the speed, efficiency, and hospitality of the entire team. The St. Regis Qingdao has not only met but far exceeded our expectations. We thoroughly enjoyed every moment and would be more than happy to recommend your exceptional hotel to friends, family, and colleagues. We are already looking forward to our next visit. Stayed on level 68. Room was clean. Toiletries were top notch. The welcome chocolates was a delight. Liked that they have a bidet, and toilet floor is heated. Views from the room was pretty good. The degustation menu for dinner was a treat. Had to fast the next day as it was so filling. Drinks at the bar are always good.
