Reviews
Standard Shangri-la luxury as expected
Location is walking distance to some of the top attractions in Nanjing The Chinese restaurant is Michelin star Rooms are spacious and nice CON...The steamroom at the spa is not working and the overall condition of the spa is disappointing for Shangri la standard
This review is not about the hotel, but its restaurant Jiangnan Wok - Yun. This is one of the best Chinese restaurants in the world in my humble opinion. Each dish served was phenomenal, but the liquor preserved crab really stood out.
Enjoyed a wonderful stay. The breakfast is good-great variety of local cuisine. Jiangnan Wok (Michelin) must not be missed.
Room was big and comfortable. Hotel is walking distance of Xuanwu lake. Nice to stroll in that area.
The service and professionalism of the staff need a mention. 马勇was very helpful when we were up in the Helipad floor to snap some photos. Huangyi was extremely kind in guiding us up to that level. Also Angela went out of her way to help us locate hubby s misplaced ear buds.
We hope to return soon.
This is the most gorgeous hotel in the neighborhood, the continental breakfast is delicious, so many options that will impossible to taste all of them. Close to the hotel you are going to find a lot of restaurants, fancy stores and nice places to enjoy. I totally recommend the visit.
It was a great experience. The rooms.were clean and spacious. The bathroom big and smartly divided. The pool is also a great experience as it comes with a fantastic view of the city. The park near the hotel is very nice. I also enjoyed a beautiful sunrise from the top of the hotel.
