[June 2012] luxury hotel, but at the corporate discount price, it wasn't that expensive. Of course, the room and other aspects of the hotel were also of excellent quality. In addition to the shower room, there was a bathtub overlooking the outside. The next morning, I could see the Suzhou Sports Center Gymnasium from the room I stayed in. (The view was good.)

We had the pleasure of staying here for a friend's wedding. While the hotel has an older charm, the rooms remain luxurious and exceptionally spacious. The buffet breakfast is excellent, offering a wide variety of options. The staff are consistently helpful and friendly, making the experience even more enjoyable.

Large living and bathroom with bath and separate shower. Not superclean but okay. Bed is medium hard with good firm pillows. Large restaurant and plenty of choice for breakfast. Location is not premium but thats goes for the whole area. No balcony and windows cannot be opened. Airconditioning is difficult to adjust.

A bit far out of town with no good connection to Metro (although on the map it is yet not constructed), but with taxi the city center can be reached within 10 to 15 minutes. Rooms are well equipped but the interior is a bit outdated. Besides that, all ameneties you would expect in a 5 star hotel are available. Service is good and they also have western staff at the concierge. The hotels east of city center are more ideally located, but they were all booked out when we visited.
