Mingdu Hotel

Best hotel slippers ever. They lasted me 7 months. They have finally given in. Please send more slippers hotel mingdu!!

The hotel is gorgeous. Beautiful entrance with huge chandelier, vintage cars and marble nearly floor to ceiling and wall to wall in the lobby. This hotel is clearly older but that is part of its charm. Cannot complain for the price paid. Insane value for money

Did a trip-a-deal thingy, many hotels have passed their early year prime but still great survive and much needed aircon. Be sure to have your phone sorted out before traveling because all google and services won't work in china.

The bed is rock hard, so beware of that. I'm aware that a lot of Chinese people like to sleep on hard beds, but I think the hardness is very excessive, especially if you want tourists to stay. The aircon barely works in the room, but I guess that's alright because I slept on top of the sheets for some form of padding. Cleanliness isn't the greatest either. The only thing I could say was clean in this room were the bedsheets. The bathroom in particular needs a good clean, as I was finding mould in every crevace. As well as this, the rooms are very dated, and the furniture is stained.
