Stay in this hotel for about a week and a half. It was a split stay. First was a week, then we went off somewhere else and back here again for another half a week before flying home.
Located within an industrial area. Rooms are spacious, breakfast is okay. Comfortable bed, very nice Japanese restaurant. We enjoyed the food from the Japanese restaurant.
Once ordered room service. A few minutes later, one of the staff came knocking at my door to confirm my order. Seems like although the staff do speak English, however it is somewhat limited. Maybe due to accent they are not used to. 😁
Although located in an industrial area. It is quiet. Had a wonderful stay throughout
The hotel is good and it's rooms are large. However, they do not have a frequent visitor program. The restaurant has limited choices for vegetarians. They do have English speaking receptionists and it does make life easy in a small city like Wuxi. The only reason I stay with them is that they are very close to my work place.
Room Clean : so bad.
Door close sound : so noisy.
I stayed for 30 more days.
I've never seen a housekeeper using a vacuum cleaner to clean all rooms. Dust is always in the carpet.
Even vacuum cleaner was standing next to the cart.
Also, the tile floor is dirty because it's not washed.
The sticky stuff on the floor keeps on getting on the sole of my foot.
I sent a mail to manager, but still Not improved.
While I have never stayed here, there is generally a steady stream of hotel guests. I have purchased 100 pool or gym tickets for around 3900rmb. At 39 rmb per visit, it's a a very good deal. Close to New District, not too hot like many other pools in China, the Millennium pool has clear and clean water, a permanent lifeguard, flutter boards for hire (10rmb per hirage) free towels a hot pool and a sauna. The gym has decent equipment, is clean and rarely has anyone in it. There is a Japanese restaurant in the lobby and a supermarket in the basement with some foreign goods, though mostly Asian in origin.
Rooms were big and not too expensive. Very clean. Japanese restsurant was quite good. Breakfast had a lot of selection and was very good. Concierge wasn't the best for asking about travel to Shanghai. Gym was very good considering it was a hotel gym in China. Actually had barbells. Decor was beautiful. Service attitude was great.
