I stayed at the Hilton Nanjing Niushoushan and was immediately struck by the hotel’s impressive scale and design. This is a high‑level resort‑style Hilton, with expansive public spaces, elegant décor, and a calm, polished atmosphere that feels a world away from the city. It’s the kind of property where you notice the quality the moment you walk into the lobby — refined, quiet, and clearly built for relaxation. The suite I stayed in was exceptionally spacious, far larger than what you typically get at city hotels. The layout was generous and thoughtfully designed, with plenty of room to unwind, work, and simply enjoy the space. For travelers who appreciate having a large, comfortable environment — especially on longer stays — this hotel delivers a level of roominess that’s hard to beat. Service was another highlight. Staff were warm, attentive, and consistently proactive, whether it was handling check‑in, arranging transportation, or offering local suggestions. The overall hospitality felt genuine and polished, adding to the resort‑like experience. The only real drawback is the location. The hotel sits near Niushoushan Scenic Area, which means it’s quite far from central Nanjing. While the surroundings are peaceful and scenic, getting to the city’s main attractions or business districts requires a longer drive. For travelers planning to explore downtown frequently, the distance can be inconvenient. Overall, Hilton Nanjing Niushoushan offers a high‑quality, spacious, and service‑oriented stay at a very attractive price point. If you’re looking for comfort, space, and a resort atmosphere — and don’t mind being outside the city center — it’s an excellent choice for a relaxing trip to Nanjing.
This hotel was absolutely amazing. We came back to my hometown for a holiday with my husband and our two children, who don’t speak any Chinese, so having a comfortable and convenient stay was really important to us. The hotel kindly gave us connecting rooms, which made a huge difference for our family—it was incredibly convenient and spacious. For a four-star hotel, I would say this is top-tier within the Hilton Hotels & Resorts brand. I chose this hotel because it’s new, modern, and had great reviews—and it definitely lived up to expectations. The design feels stylish and quite luxurious, especially for the price point. The furnishings give it a really polished, high-end feel. The food at the lobby bar was a pleasant surprise—authentic Chinese dishes and really good quality. On Saturday night, they even had live music, which added a lovely atmosphere. I also loved the club lounge. It may not be huge, but it has everything you need, and I always enjoy staying in club access or executive rooms. The overall experience felt very comfortable and well thought out. A big bonus for families is the kids’ play area, which is supervised—there’s always someone there, so you can feel reassured your children are safe. That’s a huge plus. Overall, fantastic value for money. Just take a look at my photos—they really show how great this place is!This hotel was absolutely amazing.
Quite a nice hotel, but our experience at the pool was pretty lacking.
The highlight was defo the staff. From the time we arrived, 2 dinners and 2 breakfasts, everyone was very friendly and trying their best to accommodate. The room was clean and spacious. The only minor issue was the AC in the room will not go down below 23, was a bit warm at night. Other than that, this is a nice place to have a relaxing few nights while in Nanjing. Please check out the Foding Temple, Palace and Pagoda.
