Nice hotel. Great staff and good breakfast. Location wasn’t bad but wasn’t great.

The smell of cigarette smoke is everywhere — in the room, along the hallways, throughout the entire hotel. The air doesn’t circulate at all, making it feel extremely stuffy and uncomfortable. It’s also unbearably hot since the air conditioning can’t be adjusted. Even though the hotel provided a fan and an air purifier, they made no difference. They simply can’t compete with the constant cigarette smoke, as guests openly smoke inside their rooms — something you wouldn’t normally experience in other countries. The smoke seeps through the ventilation and heater ducts, making the situation even worse. Overall, a very unpleasant and frustrating stay.

Perfect location, comfort, and attention to detail — an excellent choice for your trip! This hotel left an extremely pleasant impression! First of all, the location is truly unique. Just a couple of minutes on foot — and you’re already at the main attractions: the waterfront, Yu Garden, cozy streets, and the main pedestrian street, Nanjing Road. A real find for those who love exploring the city without long commutes. Inside, the hotel is very clean, cozy, and thoughtfully designed. The room is bright, neat, and modern. I especially appreciated the small bonuses you don’t see in every hotel: several packets of coffee and tea, a nice bathroom set including a great branded shampoo and conditioner, comfortable slippers. These details create a sense of care and make the stay truly comfortable. A special highlight is the buffet breakfast. The selection is excellent: both local dishes and familiar European options. And what was especially important for me as someone who doesn’t eat meat — the hotel offers a great variety of fresh vegetables and fruits. Everything was fresh, diverse, and delicious. It’s rare to find this, and I really appreciated it. Overall, the hotel left the impression of high-level service, attentive staff, and absolute comfort. I would happily stay here again and can confidently recommend it to those who value cleanliness, coziness, and a perfect location.
