Rooms are bigger than some apartments people call their home back in their country. The location directly at the Jinji lake cannot be compared to other hotels ins Suzhou. For sportive people, this circumstance - including the gym - provides you with all you need. Also the subway and the Suzhou center plaza are nearby. I come here frequently and it’s always a pleasure.

I was extremely impressed with this hotel. Pros: -Beautiful architecture, the entire facility looks very nice -Breakfast buffet was excellent (didn't try other restaurants) -Fitness center was as large and nice as one you would pay a monthly membership for -- free weights, many treadmills, towels, water bottles, everything you could want -Room was spacious and comfortable, just like pictures show -Most areas all had a fluent English-speaker for travelers -Taxi service was convenient and could help you get where you need to go Cons: -This location is not as close to some of the shops and local restaurants, but hard to hold this as a con! I would definitely use this location again in the future. 10/10.

This hotel, with its unusual design in the shape of a luxury cruise ship has the prime location on the shore of Jinji Lake, right at the foot of the 'Pants building' (Gate of the Orient) that also hosts a huge shopping center with many international shops, restaurants, gyms and even an ice rink. We had a modern and very comfortable, well equipped room on Club level - if you can afford I would strongly suggest a lake view room, the views are unbelievable and in the evening you'll be able to watch Jin Ji Hu and the lights of Suzhou with a spectacular light, fire and water show. Service was attentive as always and with good English, breakfast was great, but get there early as it can get very crowded, especially on the weekends. The only complaint I would have is that this time I did not feel there was enough food options for vegetarians or vegans, maybe hotel management could look into it. You should check the Tboat restaurant, the burgers and t-bone are delicious!
