Reviews
Good hotel with modern design, huge room size, and good breakfast area and options. The hotel also has its in-house bakery. While the hotel itself is a bit far from the old town of Qingdao, there're almost some good eating options nearby, and the hotel is also near the Wanda Mall.
That said there are two things I think the hotel could improve: 1) Some of the hotel staff at the front desk do not speak adequate English, which I find surprising, 2) They don't give you a kettle and tea/coffee in the room, which is also surprising for a 5-star like Crowne Plaza.
But overall, this is still a good hotel to stay in Qingdao.
There was a huge big outdoor area where u could go rent a bicycle and like a delivery motorcycle.it nice.the rental fees are like very cheap of like 100 Chinese dolla every hour.it tough.kirbykirbykirbyisgoat.
I stayed for two days in April this year. When I took the iron out, I remembered I also needed to get an ironing hanger, so I casually placed the iron on the bed. To my surprise, water leaked from the iron, wetting the mattress. I called a cleaning lady, and she wiped it dry with a cloth and used the iron to dry it. While dealing with the problem, the cleaning lady kept asking me personal questions like what I was doing there and how many days I'd been there. I hope the cleaning staff will check for water in the irons next time they clean the rooms. Also, I hope the hotel manager will instruct them not to ask guests questions that are irrelevant to them; they should just focus on doing their job.
Had very bad experience with my booking through Agoda with the hotel today during check in. I booked a room that comes with Executive Lounge Access but was informed over the check in counter that it does not come with this package. I told them that Agoda indicated that it does and they informed me to get Agoda to contact them directly. And now Agoda mentioned that they denied the lounge access for my booking. This way too disappointing as why hotel has this offer in the first place and then denied later after consumer paid a higher price for this offer. I will never come back to this hotel in future because of this dishonesty from hotel to the consumer.
Very good hotel. But it is very disappointed in this time of bad cigarettes smell. Why doesn't staff protect a smoker in the lobby and elevators? It is very bad to smell cigarettes in such good facilities.
