Mediocre experience at best. A crummy motel sold as a prime resort experience. The check-in experience is like an always joyful visit to the DMV (yes, you have to take a number). They’re too cheap to provide real luggage carts, so you get to make do with their second-hand airport carts, which were completely inadequate. Our room had a whopping two bath towels for a family of four, so we had to request more. Check in is at 3 pm, so you better get there exactly at 3 pm if you want to use the pool because it closes at 5 pm (on a weekend? In the summer?? There’s like 4 hours of sunlight left in the day!!). The rooms haven’t been updated or meaningfully maintained in about 25 years, so enjoy your dinged up furniture and the mold on the walls if you stay here. Oh, did I mention that you have to take out your own garbage?? Turns out that you aren’t actually staying at a hotel, you’re staying at an Airbnb. This place treats you like an inconvenience to their money making machine. Don’t waste your time.

Visited their restaurant. Good clean food with reasonably good taste. Emphasis would be on the "clean or hygienic" aspect where some local (seafood) restaurants can potentially lead to stomach issues after eating.
Family friendly place with a water park. Rooms are standard Korean resort style. Nothing fancy. Walkable to Gyeokpo Beach.
It's an okay place, not necessarily bad. It's lacking in certain aspects but like I said, it won't be the worst one. I do find it odd that there is no shower curtain in bathroom even though their own picture showed it. So I couldn't take shower standing since water would get everywhere.
This is a place where I find peace and a deep connection with nature. Most tourist destinations in Korea are overcrowded, with traffic jams and long lines at popular restaurants, leaving little time to truly relax. However, one of the reasons I visit Byeonsan Peninsula is that, despite the distance, it’s relatively less crowded, allowing for a more intimate experience with nature and the chance to enjoy a variety of small, local eateries. Whether by the sea, exploring nearby attractions, or staying at the resort, everything remains consistently quiet and peaceful. *Sono Belle Byeonsan is a seaside resort located in Buan, Jeollabuk-do, South Korea, offering beautiful views of the West Sea and proximity to natural attractions like Byeonsanbando National Park. It features a variety of accommodations, from standard rooms to luxury suites, along with amenities like a water park, restaurants, and spa facilities. The resort is ideal for families and nature lovers, providing easy access to hiking trails, beaches, and scenic spots, making it a popular destination for relaxation and outdoor activities.
