7-Star Service - Absolute Legends Saved Our Trip! We had a shocker of a travel day getting to Buyeo—planes, trains, and taxis all over the place. To make matters worse, my wife realized she’d lost her credit card somewhere along the way. We arrived at Lotte Resort Buyeo exhausted and pretty stressed, but the managers, Hyunmin Ha and Hyun Cho, were absolute lifesavers. They didn't just handle our check-in; they went above and beyond to help us track down the lost card and sorted out all the issues without any fuss. They made us feel more like guests in a 7-star hotel than a resort. The room was perfect and the facilities are great, but it’s the staff that make this place world-class. It’s rare to find this level of genuine care and professionalism. If you’re an Australian traveler heading to Korea, you’re in the best possible hands with these two. Huge thanks to Hyunmin and Hyun for turning a potential disaster into a perfect stay!

Lotte Resort Buyeo is a great place to stay if you want to experience both comfort and history. The traditional Korean architectural style at the entrance is unique and makes a very impressive first impression. The rooms are spacious and clean, and the service is friendly and efficient. It’s conveniently located near major historical sites, which makes the stay even more enjoyable.
The accommodation and its facilities are generally good, but it is relatively expensive for a rural area. This is largely because there are no comparable alternative accommodations nearby. Keep this in mind: although the sauna is offered to guests at a reasonable price, it is combined with a water park, and Korean parents often do not supervise their children, making the environment extremely noisy. If you want to experience a traditional Korean bathhouse or sauna, go to a bathhouse in Buyeo-eup or Gyuam-myeon. You may go there seeking peace of mind, but end up leaving with your eardrums ringing.
Don't go here if you don't have kids or if you don't speak Korean. Staff barely speak English, ignored us in the restaurant and food was disappointing. The indoor waterpark is only for kids and the outdoor pool seems nice on the pictures but is only open one month in summer. The hotel room is quite large, but the bathroom is very small with a shower in the bathtub which is very outdated and not pleasant. They do have lots of choice at breakfast but very noicy with screaming kids.
The resort staff speak English so was easy for us to communicate, also were really nice and helpful. The condo was enough big for us, was clean, and well-kept. It is located in a great location, close to attractions. The breakfast was yummy and had lots of choices. 👏👍
