We were super grateful to the hotel reception staff, especially Fandy, who helped us transport back to Shuishe! both public transportation and taxis were not running at night, and the staff was quick and effective to help with a taxi! Great hospitality and kindness shown to us, even though we were not guests here. Thank you!!!
We had a wonderful stay at Wyndham and would highly recommend. The rooms were spacious and everything looked so new. The Sky Lounge is open from 5-7pm during Happy Hour and they served food. We ended up having our dinner there. The gym is fully equipped with an indoor swimming pool and sauna. For families with young children, there’s also an indoor playground 1 min walk away
We had a Family room, which was perfect for traveling with 2 small children. The hotel is very modern and clean.
The hot spring area was great too!
Special mention for the great service: For the shuttle bus to and from Taichung HSR Station, they had installed excellent, comfortable child seats on the bus - we appreciated that so much!
My family and I stayed here in March 2026 and had a wonderful experience.
From the moment we arrived, every staff member we interacted with was professional, friendly, and incredibly helpful with any questions we had. The hotel was also very English-friendly, which made our stay even more comfortable.
Our rooms were clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed and more. The staff kindly provided a pack-and-play for our 9-month-old, along with adorable kid-friendly soap and shampoo, and even a bottle sterilizer. These thoughtful touches went above and beyond our expectations and were truly appreciated.
The food was excellent. The buffet offered a wide variety of options, and there was more than enough to enjoy at every meal.
We were also impressed with the amenities and only wished we had more time to take full advantage of them. One highlight was the complimentary kids’ play area located in a nearby building. It was a spacious, well-designed area with activities for all ages. If you’re travelling with children, you know how valuable it is to have a safe place for them to burn off some energy!
Overall, we had a fantastic stay and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a getaway at Sun Moon Lake.
Really enjoyed our stay here, it is conveniently located right infront of the ita thao shopping district which has variety of local Taiwanese shops and cuisine.
The room was spacious and view was amazing! The entire facility was very modern and kept up well. There is a pool, weight room, games room, ktv ( extra money) and a spa with hot spring/sauna/steamroom. Would’ve loved if they are able to dim the lighting in the hot spring area to give it a more relaxing experience.
The food was good also, the buffet had variety of options but hopefully they can introduce more with higher quality as some of the food was just ok. However the Shao restaurant in the lobby was absolutely amazing, I would highly recommend that over the buffet for dinner if you had a choice. You can also visit the lounge upstairs where there’s drinks and snacks.
Overall an amazing stay!
