I will say location is amazing, the staff are friendly, the rooms are nicely updated and the lounge area is relaxing. However when entering our room, it was extremely small (barely enough room to open a midsize luggage). We arrived later in the night and noticed there was only 1 pillow on the bed. I looked in the room for a phone but there wasn’t one provided. I walked downstairs and asked for another pillow (even though the room was booked for 2 people). The staff were kind and immediately brought it up. I asked if there is way to communicate without physically coming downstairs, she said “that’s where we save money, there are no phones in the rooms.” There is also no water provided (there is a community galley area for water out of the sink). When getting ready for bed, I noticed there was only one bath towel for the two of us and one blanket for the bed. I could not call for another one due to no phones in the room. My husband and I had to share a towel. I think paying over 200 euros a night, being a platinum member, I expected better quality.

The rooms are dark, and the entire hotel has a gloomy atmosphere. Inside, it is difficult to tell whether it is day or night. The soundproofing is also very poor. On my first night, I could clearly hear music coming through the wall from the room next door. The hotel provides a large music box in every room, which is not a great idea when the walls are so thin. Fortunately, the neighbour was very understanding and turned the music off immediately after I knocked at midnight and explained that I could not sleep. Also you will hear people walking/talking. The hotel itself feels like a maze, and the overall experience lacked the level of hospitality I normally expect from an IHG hotel. The check-in process was unnecessarily slow and frustrating. Guests have to enter all their details manually on a tablet, which takes a long time, especially when checking in two or three people. The idea may have been intended to make the process modern, but it had the opposite effect. The hotel already has the reservation details and could simply scan the passport instead of asking guests to enter everything again. Breakfast was small but perfectly fine. Overall, I would not stay here again.
Well, this was an amazing experience! 🥰 We stayed at Ruby Hanna for 3 days during Stuttgart Jazz Festival and we loved it. The room was clean and smelled so good, we loved coming back to it after walking around the city. The atmosphere was cozy, the music in the lobby was pleasant, and the staff were friendly. Also the toilets in the lobby were very clean. Extra points for cleanliness, always!! There was a small area in the hallway near the rooms where you can get complimentary coffee or tea 24/7 (see photos). We decided that next time we travel, we will first check if there's a Ruby hotel in that city, because we want to see if all Ruby Hotels are as awesome as Ruby Hanna in Stuttgart! 😁🫶🏻 Thank you!
I booked two double bedrooms for my wife and two kids, we got one pillow and one towel in each room, when I asked at the desk ( at 6pm) they replied they don’t have more as there was a lot of requests for pillows from other rooms?? The shower gel dispensers don’t work also. Shame as the place is pretty good. Breakfast was good ( hence 3 stars)
Couldn’t recommend Ruby Hanna enough. From the moment we arrived, Cat, Kai, Uta, and Aurora were all incredibly friendly, helpful, and welcoming. The bar service was spot on, food ordering was smooth, and the pizza was phenomenal. It’s rare that a hotel feels this easy and enjoyable, but the team here made the whole experience great. We’ll definitely be back soon.
