Ringhotel Hasen Herrenberg

Visiting Germany for the first time, and this was one of our favorite stays! The friendly service, lovely & comfortable rooms, and perfect location (walkable to everything, including the train station) were greatly appreciated by us! We enjoyed our dinner immensely. Would definitely stay here again!

Perfect hosts as our base hotel whilst in the Black Forest. Multi story car park with plenty of space. Spacious rooms nice and clean I would highly recommend this hotel and all its staff to any travellers on bikes or cars that’s look no to visit the area.

Short weekend stop over in the area to meet up with old friends. Goo facilty at reasonable price. Good breakfast with large selection of typical German breakfast dishes. Great friendly service

The hotel itself is okay, although at this price, a bottle of water in the room should be a welcome amenity; it's a shame that wasn't the case. I had two guests from the US, and the restaurant and service were excellent, although the staff lacked anticipation and attentiveness to guests, hence the one-point deduction. The biggest problem is the parking outside the garage. The garage overhang poses a significant danger when reversing in the dark. Because the overhang is about 1.5 meters off the ground and protrudes quite far outwards, the sensors can't detect this obstacle, resulting in a broken rear window. A guest experienced this right in front of me, which is why I only became aware of it later. And what did reception say? "Oh, we're familiar with that; we have two to three such cases every week." Great! Since I was also a near victim of such an accident, I told the manager, "Why don't you get yourselves a warning light from Bauhaus for just 10 or 20 euros, so you can avoid such inconveniences for the guests?" The answer was a tired smile.
