1000/10 — Don't stay anywhere else in Stuttgart! We arrived before check-in and were immediately greeted in welcoming manner. (Give the hotel receptionist with the glasses a raise! ☺️) Check-in was very easy. We had booked two separate rooms, and the receptionist gave us the option of waiting at the hotel or exploring the nearby area while she checked with the housekeeping staff to see when our rooms would be ready. We didn't have to wait long, but we didn't mind relaxing after the walk from the train station (which wasn't very far—just very hot!). Throughout our stay, every staff member we passed greeted us with a smile and was incredibly friendly. The hotel has a vintage flair. I wish I had taken photos of the room because it did not disappoint. One of our rooms was a corner room with a small patio. There was plenty of seating and lots of space to store luggage. The room also had many amenities including a safe, mini fridge, hangers, robes, and shower supplies. The bed was huge, and the air conditioning cooled the room down quickly. The roll shutters helped keep the room cool as well. The absolute highlight, though, was the steam shower—we wish we could have taken it home with us! I initially booked this hotel because it was tucked away in a neighborhood while still being close to the town mitte and that it was rated as having the #1 breakfast in Stuttgart. It absolutely lived up to the hype. The breakfast staff were phenomenal. They happily answered all of my questions about nut ingredients, and when I asked for my eggs to be prepared a certain way, they accommodated my request without hesitation. I really appreciated that. They also had pretzels! 🤩 Honestly, I'd book this hotel again just for the breakfast and the shower. The only heads-up I'd give future guests is that if you'd like a "Do Not Disturb" sign, you'll need to ask the front desk for one, as there isn't one in the room. This was an amazing stay, and I wouldn't hesitate to book here again the next time I'm in Stuttgart!

I ended up here because I missed my train connection. I was so happy to see that this hotel thinks about waste prevention. The breakfast has no little plastic packaging but everything in reusable glass. In the shower you have no plastic waste but refillable bottles with shampoo etc.. super happy to see this! Very friendly people as well!

I found Kronenhotel after a pretty disappointing experience at another Stuttgart hotel. As soon as I arrived, I wished I had stayed here from the beginning. Attentive customer service. Great, well designed and we'll furnished room. Awesome, tasty breakfast. Good water pressure in the shower. A nice desk to work on. Quiet location, yet a short walking distance to the Hauptbanhof. Apples and chocolates Tom grab whenever you need a quick snack. Just perfect. Never staying at any another hotel in Stuttgart!
