Hotel Bohler

Stayed here for about a month while I was house hunting. This hotel is so WONDERFUL! Can’t beat the location: food nearby everywhere, bus and trains near by, shopping center(s) is/are 10 mins away, Panzer Kaserne is either easily accessible; cost is within the per diem rates; there is a community hotel kitchen and nearby grocery stores so you’re not eating out all the time; free parking is available at multiple locations; a fresh breakfast every morning included. What makes this hotel EXCEPTIONAL is the staff! Its so comforting to know they are willing to help with so much, from translating things for me, making recommendations on places to shop for ranfom things, advice on things to look for when we get my house, teaching us German and practicing with us, their kindness eased my transition into Germany. For my military families, this is where you want to stay when you’re coming to or leaving Germany, 100% recommend!!!

Our stay at Hotel Böhler was nothing short of exceptional, and we would wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone visiting Böblingen, whether for business or leisure. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel genuinely welcome. Their friendly, professional, and attentive approach created a warm atmosphere throughout our stay and ensured that every aspect of our visit was enjoyable and stress-free. One of the hotel's greatest strengths is that it is family run and its fantastic location situated close to the centre of town. Hotel Böhler provides easy access to a wide range of shops, restaurants, bars, and cafés, making it an ideal base for both business travellers looking for convenience and holidaymakers wanting to explore the local area. Everything you need is within easy reach, adding to the overall appeal of the hotel. The rooms are modern, stylish, and immaculately presented. They are thoughtfully equipped with air conditioning, ensuring a comfortable stay regardless of the weather. The attention to detail in the room design and presentation reflects the high standards maintained throughout the entire hotel. A particular highlight was having use of a fitness and sauna facility. The sauna provided the perfect place to relax after a busy day, while the fitness area offered everything needed to maintain an exercise routine while away from home. Breakfast each morning was another standout feature. Guests are treated to a selection of fresh breakfast items, complemented by some freshly cooked items, such as omelettes and pancakes. The quality, variety, and presentation were excellent, providing the perfect start to the day. Hotel Böhler successfully combines comfort, quality, convenience, and outstanding hospitality. Whether your visit to Böblingen is for a business trip or a relaxing holiday, this hotel delivers on every level. It is truly a hidden gem, offering all the amenities and service you could wish for in a welcoming and comfortable environment. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and have no hesitation in recommending Hotel Böhler to anyone planning a visit to Böblingen. We fully intend to return in the future and look forward to staying at this wonderful family run hotel again. It is rare to find a place that gets so many things right, but Hotel Böhler certainly does, and that is what makes it such a gem.

Very central. Lots of food nearby. The staff is incredible. The breakfast is also amazing. Fresh eggs and baked goods. Tons of fruit. The rooms are large and clean. The beds are incredibly hard. That’s the one major complaint. Unless you pay for their parking the area can be difficult to find parking depending on the time of day. On a busy intersection so it can be very loud.

The staff were super friendly and welcoming, and the rooms were excellent. The location was perfect - conveniently close to the train station, grocery stores, and restaurants. Breakfast was fantastic every morning, and Cecilia made the best omelets! 10/10 would definitely recommend.
