This was a Xmas gift and the tour was very informative and also fun. The guides were very informative about the history of gin and rum and the tasting was very good.

We had a great experience from start to finish. Both Dan & Jack were great; very knowledgeable and engaging. The tasting was relaxed and the full drink at the end was lovely! Would definitely recommend.

Due to an unforeseen problem at the distillery we had our Gin experience at Judith's. Claire was so informative and friendly. The Gin tasting was very generous and we had some of the loveliest Gin we have ever tasted. A worthwhile and great experience, thoroughly enjoyed by us. Well done and good luck for the future in the business.

Great experience! Staff were friendly, knowledgeable and engaging. Learned about the history of Gin and Rum production and then toured their own stills etc. Fascinating information shared with us. The tasting session was really good fun and got to understand more about the spirits and mixers. Thoroughly enjoyable visit!

This was a present from our boys. The whole process from booking through to the actual day was very smooth. The tour and tasting was brilliant. Our guides are obviously knowledgeable and passionate about the processes and products they make. The gin and rum tasting was informative and tasted great - we learnt lots. Both were absolutely fabulous and we duly bought some for ourselves and Christmas presents too. Would most definitely recommend this. We really want to go back to create our own gin at some point.

An absolutely brilliant experience! The presentaion, tour and tasting session was extremely interesting, informative and most of all fun! So good to tastle some of the wonderful gins that are produce by the Shakespeare Distillary (and Rums!) Would highly recommend this tour without doubt and give it 5 stars out of 5!

Excellent tour, real value for money. Hosts were brilliant very welcoming and very knowledgeable. Really enjoyed our visit. The tour length was just right.

We enjoyed finding out about the process of making gin and rum. A family company that has a great selection of gin and rum. We enjoyed our tasting and bought gifts.

Interesting talk about the origins of Gin and explanation of how the Gin is made. Great tasting experience where they recommend which mixers complement each of the Gins. Thoroughly enjoyed it.

A really exceptional experience. We have done a few of brewering and distillery type experiences around the UK. This one rates at the top I have to say. Clare ( Our tutor for the day) was fun, quick witted, and kept us on track. Great few hours in great surroundings. Thanks to Judith, (if you know you know). If you don't get yourself there.

They were incredibly knowledgeable, engaging and full of great humour, making the whole experience both fascinating and fun. We thoroughly enjoyed learning about the distilling process, tasting the gins and getting an insight into the craft behind them. Katherine and Darren really made the tour special with their warmth and enthusiasm. Thank you to the whole Shakespeare Distillery team for such a brilliant experience. Great day out at the Gin distillery, Katherine our guide was funny and very entertaining and let’s not forget the gin and rum tasting …… Fabulous. Well worth the trip.

Lovely couple of hours spent with very knowledgeable and passionate people. Learnt a lot about the whole gin process and the sampling was interesting!

We decided to travel by bus to the distillery as we thought that we wouldn’t drink and drive, but we didn’t realise how far away it was from the local bus stop. It was about a 20 minute walk Saying that it didn’t deter us from having a lovely time. Our experience was brought as a present for us. The distillery was well worth a visit and you could stay as long as you wished. The tour guides were very welcoming and friendly, they went into great depth telling us the process to produce their gins and rum . The tasting was excellent experience too. I would definitely recommend this tour to friends and family.

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to the Shakespeare distillery on Saturday afternoon. It is run with such enthusiasm and knowledge of their product and some fun info about the history of gin during the tour. This place is well worth the visit and we came away with a bottle of gin after the tasting session 😋

The whole experience was fantastic, peter,simon and dan were all so knowledgeable, and so enthusiastic about what they do , and the products they produce. Would highly recommend to everyone, and will definately be back. Their gins are the best ive tasted. Xx

It was great to visit the Shakespeare Distillery, booked as a gift by family, we absolutely would recommend the tour including tasting for especially any gin or rum enthusiasts. The guides were excellent and really knew their subjects. We found the whole trip so informative regarding gin and rum making but also how important the drinks you mix with them too. We spent around 2 to 2 1/2 hours on the whole experience.

A small but very enthusiastic company with knowledgeable and friendly staff ready to answer any questions you may have. Really enjoyable and highly recommended.

We were gifted the tour for Christmas, it was part of a river cruise too, which we'd enjoyed earlier. The tour was very informative and much was learned before we then went to taste 2 gins and a rum, all of which were very smooth, unlike other gins we'd tasted before. We had a really good time, the staff were very good. We bought 3 rums from the shop ☺️

The tour was a treat for my husband and we asked my sister and brother-in-law, we got an Uber from Stratford upon Avon which was cheap and very easy. All the staff at Shakespeare Distillery were so friendly and very informative, the historical information of gin was fun and interesting and the tour around the casks was so informative and relaxed. All the processes through to bottling are explained well. We went into the tasting room and learnt so much as well as experiencing different gins and the selection of tonics and learning how to prepare them for your pallet. After we were able to purchase gin and rum of varying bottle sizes, gift packs available too. After we stayed for another drink while we waited for our Uber back and all the staff were relaxed and in no rush for us to leave, we definitely recommend this experience.

This is the second time we have visited the distillery, previously we distilled our own gin at their school. This time around it was a tour of their facility and tasting their range of gins and rums. Highly recommended, advised not to drive there.

We were bought distillery tour as a gift. All of the staff were very knowledgeable and relaxed. Lots of laughter and of course delicious drinks to try. No pressure to buy from shop but hard to resist with great products.

What a great tour. Everyone was so welcoming and very informative. So lovely to see a real small family run business doing so well. The tour was interesting and lasted about half an hour and then we had the tasting session. Again we learned so much about how to drink gin and how much tonic and ice to put in etc. we tried 2 flavours of gin and either a rum or another gin. Then we got a choice of a long drink. Great value for money and a really great experience.

Really good experience, well delivered by the friendly and knowledgable team. The walk through the distillation process was fascinating. Gin tasting was very informative, great explanations about which mixers work best with each gin.

Educational and fun. The tour is carried out by people involved in the process and they are extremely knowledgeable. The science and technology involved in producing gin and rum is fascinating and clearly explained. The tasting/drinking session was excellent

As my wife is not keen on gin and I was driving we nearly skipped the experience. However, the Tourist Office further recommended it and so we decided to give it a try. It really was the highlight of our trip to Stratford, amusing, interesting and rewarding! Well done and thank you to the two guys who entertained us.

Had a fabulous gin tasting. Very knowledgeable and enthusiastic staff. Very interesting tour of the distillery...Peter gave a very interesting and witty explanation of gin making. Learnt lots. Can highly recommend. This was a gift from family so no idea how much it costs but worth a visit regardless. We didn't feel rushed. It takes a couple of hours including the Gin tasting. There were 10 of us and there was plenty of time to ask questions throughout the tour. We finished in the shop where we bought a couple of bottles of Gin, with 10% off as part of the experience. So know we are Shakespeare Gin converts!

We throughly enjoyed the gin/rum distillery tour. Both brothers were informative, enthusiastic and funny. The gin and rum samples were generous and tasted wonderful. Admission fee I thought was a fair price and the length of the tour is about 2 hours which is adequate unless like us tried more samples and bought a few bottles!

Very interesting and knowledgeable tour showing the whole process. All and any questions readily answered as we went around. Staff friendly and helpful. Tasting was an added bonus with choices and variations available. Highly recommended.

Fantastic, insightful and a wonderful way to spend a couple of hours. Clearly everyone on the team is passionate about the journey of this successful small business. We came away having learnt so much more about Gin and Rum. The tastings and information given about each product was excellent and we would highly recommend this experience.

Great experience. Educational and entertaining. Great presenters and the afternoon was balanced in having 3 sections-gin history, how gin and rum is distilled, aged, and packaged, and the gin tasting session at the end. Great to taste up to 3 gins or rums with optimal mixers and ice. Would highly recommend this experience to other visitors. The cafe at the entrance is also worth visiting by arriving 20-30 min before the tour starts.

Our children bought us this tour for Christmas and we booked it on our Wedding Anniversary. An excellent choice! The tour and tasting were really informative and interesting. We got to taste several Gins and Rums and there was a good selection to purchase in the shop afterwards.

We were bought this as part of a Virgin experience present. The experience was excellent. The brothers who own the business are so knowledgeable and give a very interesting talk which keeps your attention. Plenty of gin or rum to sample at the end and advice on which mixers go with the different flavour gin or rum It will certainly make a great present for friends & family.

It was excellent and so much better than expected would definitely visit again. The knowledge and stories passed on from the hosts was the major part of the tour which made the experience unforgettable

What an we say other absolutely fantastic. The tour on the day was ran well and extremely interesting and fun. Cost of tickets were very reasonable for the trip and the experience. Length of time of boat trip was 1 hour which was perfect we then as a family spent more time in Stratford. The crew and the other attendees on the boat made a great atmosphere. All in all staff and experience were fantastic with some fantastic gin which we of course came away with 😜
