Don’t bother. It gives no historical information whatsoever and is simply a how to walk from point A to point B. I was sorely disappointed.

Excellent audio touring guide of Strasbourg. It covered all the main sights at more! We were able to tour at our own pace. The audio guide was informative and we learned a lot of about the city at our own pace. We only had a day in Strasbourg and it was a great way to cover the city (33 sights, around 8 miles in total). Would recommend it.
This was easy to navigate and informative. I liked that each stop only had about a 1-2 minute clip. We had planned to just wander the city since we didn’t have time for a booked live tour, but having this as a guide of where to wander was nice. Disclaimer: we only had time for about a third of the stops but enjoyed what we did get to experience!
We had already used TouringBee audio guides in other cities, so we chose the same format in Strasbourg. We like being able to walk independently and at our own pace, while still understanding what we are seeing around us. The route is convenient: you don’t have to constantly search for information online or decide where to go next. You can stop for coffee, spend more time somewhere you like, and then continue without rushing. A good balance between a regular walk and a guided tour.
Great guide to some of Strasbourg's main attractions, directions were super easy to follow, as was the historical information about each point of interest, without it being overwhelming. If I had to find a flaw, that would be the guide pronouncing Strasbourg as 'Straus-bourg'!
Its really good, describes the important sightseeing spots n Strassbourg....you can enjoy at your own pace..recommended
What a great way to experience Strasbourg! The app, download, maps all ran smoothly and I enjoyed my stroll through the city. The audio was clear, easy to follow and had a lot of interesting information. I'm really glad I did this- great use of $9!
I’m so glad I purchased this audio guide. I’m a 64 year old female solo traveler. I walked around the city of Strasbourg whole day with this guide, taking a break at my hotel room as needed. It’s flexible yet comprehensive. The length of recording at each of the 33 landmarks was just right (2-3 minutes).
Strasbourg was a good place to visit and old town worth visiting. However to get around by car takes time even to travel a short distance because of the road system. Very hard to find supermarkets or takeaway shops. In saying this was not uncommon in other French places visited. Overall was worth the trip.
Wasn’t able to use the purchased tour. Difficult to use, unable to log in . Tried different times. Ended up signing up with a different app and paid again .
Wonderful way to see all the city on your own. All the important places were covered. The Cathedral was breathtaking. On aside note, if you want to do a river cruise, get your tickets early in the day. They are timed. We went when we wanted to go and could only get tickets for two hours later, but it would have made us late for our train.
I love self guided audio tours and this was no exception. It only lost a star because I felt the route was a bit long. Argue: so skip some! The line to get into the cathedral was Lin so I did save that for the next day. When I reached the last stop I was almost 2 miles from my hotel! This tour gave a lot of good info about the town and the history of the area. I even got a good dining tip. Not any particular restaurant but the area and what to order. Tip: hit the > to the next stop when you finish the prev one. I waited to get there then hit the >. If you hit it early you get a direct route (I’m a bit challenged;) Definitely would recommend this!
I bought the app but it didn't work. I couldn't download the pdf-file with the trip. Very disappointing. I will never buy a walking tour with Tripadvisor again.
It is somewhat light in detail, and misses out some things which seem obvious for comment as you walk about. But it does make you walk in areas you may normally miss, so from that perspective a good purchase. Don't believe for one second that the narrator had ever visited the city !
Great for solo travellers or for those that don’t do well in groups. It is worth allowing the app to share the location so you can keep the on top of where you are.
Absolutely without a doubt the best $8 I have ever spent! I prefer seeing the sights at my own pace. This self guided tour hit many amazing highlights that I otherwise may have neglected. I highly recommend.
I had only one night in Strasbourg and it's really perfect way to visit. It was already too late for classic tours. I liked the itinerary and information. So, I can recommend it
Great idea as you can go at your own pace. Make sure you enable location services on your phone as some of the directions were a bit confusing. Also I’m not 100% sure of the accuracy regarding the distance covered we ended up doing 15km (with additional stops) but in general we stuck to the tour.
Easy to find on Booking.com, an excellent central hotel (Hotel Kléber) with secure but expensive (€40 for 24hrs) underground parking very close by. Walking in Strasbourg is easy with the main sights all easily accessible. Beautiful city with excellent choice of restaurants. Highly recommended for city visit.
Just so so. Each spot only had one average a 2 minute audio, which was not deep enough in history or story to make it interesting or worthwhile. We abandoned the tour after the 9th stop.
Good option if you are anti social and don’t like the ‘red umbrella’ experience. It was fun navigating around the city and seeing the key places and the commentary was just enough. I had a few glitches with the navigation updating my position but just reopened the app and it was fine. Would recommend
This tour was so interesting. It hit all the main sites as well as a lot of other beautiful frescoes we would not have seen otherwise. It gave so much detail ( it was getting dark so we skipped some of the fresco information). It was also very easy to follow the instructions on where to go next. We have done several of these self guided tours and this was by far the easiest to follow.
It was very nice this tour with this audio guide. Thank you touringbee, for this wonderful experience, Strasbourg is an amazing city, its architecture makes you feel in the medieval times. I loved the details of each building and its beautiful streets.
This was a really great option. The audio tour was informative and because it was self directed I could go as fast or as slow as I wanted. Also gave me the option of taking more time or pausing the tour to do my own exploring and in the end, and because of this it took me way longer to complete the tour (and I had a really long lunch midway). Able to pause and restart and also cheat my looking ahead to see if the next attraction was worth the walk. Would recommend
The touringbee audio guide was the best company to get to know the streets of Strasbourg. It provided detailed explanations and a good tour.
The fact that we did not follow any schedule, but could visit places according to our own wishes, could use the opportunity at any time to take a closer look here or there, exchange ideas, peek around the corner, and also take small breaks in the sun or with a coffee, was very enjoyable for us. However, the app crashed repeatedly; we had to reload it - and the location tracking of our current position also left much to be desired. The texts are easy to understand, informative, but for our taste, they are also a bit too brief - we would have liked to hear even more "context" and details.
First use Simple application to get started and follow every step of the way Explanations at each stop with possibility of advance and return if needed
simple and clear map, exciting information, entertainingly presented. The route can be stopped at any time and resumed later.
Excellent audio guide, very clear, all stations are immediately available after activation and 1 year available for listening. Good navigation guidance.
If available I use these guides to get a detailed overview of the city. This one from Strasbourg is also well done. Clear and interesting explanations. Easy and intuitive with photos and map of the main sights of the city
It takes you to the points of interest of the historic center giving you the basic information to deepen, if you want, independently. Well done!
The information did not seem so sound, it seemed like a lot of half-knowledge (saying without context, ..). Some comments, such as "witches were burned" are no longer timely, rather "women who were called witches were burned". There were also obvious advertisements for shopping, which was annoying. On the positive side, the tour was a pleasant length.
Good way to get to know the city and run at your own pace. Occasionally it was a bit hard to find the things mentioned
It takes a lot of charging for your cell phone. Put in airplane mode because having started at 95%, we had no battery for the last 2 stages.
It was easy, simple and pleasant to visit the city in complete autonomy and freedom listening to notions of history curiosities and anecdotes. Recommended.
didn't know in the beginning that we had to download two apps but I'm not so familiar with electronic devices the stories were great spoken and also the pictures to it was great in the whole everything and we could discover Strasbourg at our own pace would certainly not have found some places alone 👏👍😃
Parking at Guttenbergplatz car park! Good starting point for a city tour! Touring Bee unfortunately did not work after we bought the Strasbourg tour?? We then took the small train and then explored the highlights by foot! Great city with rich history! Long German coined!
It certainly took us 30min to figure out how to get to the organizer site. Then the link for the self-guided tour did not go. Very badly done. Unfortunately we could not do the tour.
Ideal option to visit the city smartly. Comments are top, neither too long nor too short. Excellent value for money.
Nice informative way to get to know the city, Info could sometimes have been a little more extensive. Everything good to follow, only in cathedral unclear what was true. We took more than 4 hours to walk, including lunch. Recommended!
Internet connection is important. Strasbourg is a beautiful city! The cathedral is worth seeing as well as the buildings from past glory days.
Sometimes it was a bit difficult to find the next station, but when we entered the location location in the app, everything went very easy.
The app was not intuitive about activation, but when it ran it was helpful and entertaining. Very good value for money.
The tour seems created with AI. He is made loveless, little information and some things don't make sense. Translation errors annoying. For example, the leader says that the Strasbourg Munster is made of red pebbles. If you read the signs you learn more and the things are more correct. It's not worth any money! Especially not 7€ ! Very bad!
Très agréable, permet de voir tous les places de Strasbourg. Nous aurions aimé encore plus de détails, les anecdotes étaient vraiment très intéressante.
Since we had big breaks in between, we filled most of the day with the tour. So it was very relaxed and we still felt we had gotten to know the city well! That was not too much and not too little information. Perfect! We are very satisfied!!!
Very pleasant tour that can be done at his own pace. Thanks to the audio guide, you can visit the main monuments. I recommend
Great tour. Everything works great. Good information and you can do everything at your own pace and stay longer where you like it
