Strasbourg Self-guided Walking Tour & Scavenger Hunt App Game

The information given was very interesting and we had a lot of fun. The map feature makes finding everything nice and easy. Depending on how fast you walk and long you want to spend at each stop, you definitely complete the scavenger hunt in less than 2hrs.

We had a ton of fun with this game / city tour. Would recommend it.

This is perfect for families, our 11yr old took control of the phone/app and directed us everywhere and read out all the info and tasks. Especially helpful that you can stop and restart, which we did a day later. Will be doing these across Europe for our whole trip!

Fun way to walk around the city and see some things. The competitive single person questions are cute and I can definitely see the team aspects work even better with larger groups, families (old vs young) or two or more couples. Did this with my girlfriend; it was laid back and a good way to spend 2 hours.

The route worked for me, however, I was looking for an audio tour. This did not have audio, so after being guided to a site by following a bubble on the app, you read a brief synopsis and then have a few questions. Since they require you to buy a minimum of 2 players, the cost was higher than other options. Related to the cost, I was hoping for audio so I wouldn’t just be reading off the phone. I was less interested in the game and more interested in the sites and history so I paid for 2, but regret not going with a cheaper option.

We had a hard time finding available free tours in the city, and this app saved the day! The competition with the scavenger hunt was fun, and we had good laughs at some of the weird trivia.

Very fun way to tour a city, especially with teenagers. The app makes it fun and takes you to several destinations where you learn and answer trivia and riddles. Definitely a fun alternative to a traditional tour.

We followed the directions and walked to each destination, navigating the city streets, using the via tour app. It worked really well and we enjoyed seeing a lot of the most popular sights. The group enjoyed the scavenger hunt aspect and learning to history.

We are travelling through France and found the games of Explorial. Since then, we always explore the city with the scavenger hunt. It is fun, you learn interesting facts, and we enjoy it to solve the riddles together.

We got blown away by the city of Strasbourg ! We loved all about it.. and Explorial was the perfect way for us to discover more about the history, culture, and fun facts of the city. We really loved playing the game and learn all the inside infos the trail made is discover.

It is such a charming city! The app kept my kids engaged and entertained throughout our visit. We also appreciated the wealth of historical information available, making our time in the town both fun and educational.

I did the trail in Strasbourg with my partner and we loved every moment of it! From the challenging, but exciting riddles and puzzles to the joyful challenges, we had fun the whole time! It was a different way to get to know the city and tires history, but definitely a great one! We created beautiful memories playing Explorial and will continue to play in different cities we visit!

Very interesting way to explore the city. The riddles are great, super light experience, good for our kids, they are usually bored for this type of experiences, but nothing like mixing a smartphone in the middle to make them enjoy.

The Explorial is really fun and we were amazed that there is still so much to discover in the city that we have not seen before. We will be back.

The tour is beautiful, it gives you the chance to go around the city with the treasure hunt and to get informed with the snippets that the app proposes to you from time to time!! and then the questions and the competition with friends are fun! beautiful

We were out with our four "kids" aged 10, 14, 16, and 18, and everyone had a lot of fun. It is very varied: Guessing or knowing, searching, taking photos; you get to go all across Strasbourg and can decide individually which sights you might want to take a closer and more detailed look at. And quite incidentally, you at least have the feeling of having seen the most important things and having learned something in the process! 😄

I did the tour with my wife and it was a lot of fun. Great mix of puzzles and sightseeing. You determine your own pace completely.

Very nice way to explore the city. The app is very user-friendly and it guides you through the city. You pass sights with facts and questions about them in the app.

Hat wirklich viel Spaß gemacht. Dadurch, dass man sein eigenes Tempo hat und überall Pause machen kann (vor allem um mal was zu essen, kleine Boutiquen zu erkunden oder einfach im Café die Atmosphäre zu genießen) ist das sehr entspannt. Selbst dem Teenager hat es super gefallen.

Es war eine super Schnitzeljagd die gut organisiert wurde von der App. Man hat die Stadt auch in kleineren Gassen Kennengelernt und etwas abseits des Trubels. Die App hat einem Wissenswertes über die Stadt erzählt, aber auch nicht zu viel, sodass man sich alles gut merken konnte. Die Punktejagd um der Gewinner der Schnitzeljagd zu werden, war super lustig. Ein paar fragen waren lediglich zum raten, was leider schade war. Alles in allem eine super Sache und machen wir in der nächsten Stadt nochmal! :)

We had a lot of fun on the scavenger hunt! We were given a wonderful tour of the city, had small, fun tasks to complete and saw and learned a lot about the city.

Zu Beginn hatten wir Schwierigkeiten, die Schnitzeljagd zu starten, weil uns nicht bewusst war, dass hierfür eine zweite App (Explorial) installiert werden muss. Danach ging es dann aber flott vorwärts. Einige der besuchten Orte bargen viel Interessantes und hätten wir ohne die Schnitzeljagd nicht gefunden.

With we discovered small corners of Strasbourg very discreet and nice. We had great difficulty finding the code needed to validate our payment in the various emails sent by TripAdvisor.

Adorei Estrasburgo e gostei muito de jogar Explorial. Surpreendeu pela positiva :) um jogo divertido e didático.

Very great, fun, informative and exciting activity also for locals. I highly recommend it. Would be great if there were different courses. Everyone can go through at their pace, no time pressure. Great.
