Daniel was very professional and knowledgeable about the Black Forest . Everything ran smoothly through three locations and the van was nicely air conditioned. Free time just right and travel companions great.

Daniel was very knowledgeable about the history of all the places visited, adequate time at each stop, comfortable van, would’ve never gotten to visit these places if it weren’t for the tour! Loved the small group as well.
Daniel, our tourist guide was very professional. The view of black forest was stunning and overall everything was very good.
The “From Strasbourg Visit to the Black Forest in Triberg Titisee Freiburg” tour exceeded our expectations! Our tour guide Daniel, of Abnoba Tours, was very knowledgeable and pleasant. The tour narrative was given in English and Spanish. More than just a tour guide, Daniel is also the owner, operator, and sole employee of Abnoba Tours and works very hard to make his tour business a success. At no time did we feel rushed or pressured into any sort of tourist gimmicks. If you are visiting Strasbourg France, we strongly encourage you to take time in your schedule to take this tour.
We were travelling through Europe by train, but wanted to make sure we saw the highlights of the Black Forest. This tour came up, and it was perfect. Daniel, our guide, was fantastic, friendly, and knowledgeable. A stress-free way to connect with a local guide, small business owner, and see the southern Black Forest with transportation and itinerary pre-set. It was a full day (8:30am to 5:30pm), but we fit a lot in, with free time for lunch, shopping, and of course, a slice of authentic Black Forest cake. Highly recommend this tour.
Great experience. Daniel was friendly and professional. The tour was a nice mix of nature and culture. We loved our group too. We had a very fun day of exploring places we would not have seen otherwise.
Excellent experience. Daniel was a great guide - he gave us good information about the villages in the Black Forest and showed us interesting sites. A fun day.
Very nice day trip from Strasbourg into the Black Forest. Daniel was so knowledgeable and we learned alot! Enjoyed the stops very much!
Guide has an impressive knowledge of the history of the area. There is a lot of walking. Bring water and good walking shoes.
Daniel was very knowledgeable. The tour was well paced with sufficient free time at each stop. The van was very comfortable for the five people on this tour.
We had just the BEST day with Daniel! To begin with, he was prompt, courteous, knew where he was going, AND he was a good driver. He was VERY personable, has a great personality, and was more-than-willing to answer ANY questions we came up with. One thing that was particularly helpful: he has a strong voice and annunciates clearly. Oh, and he has a wealth of knowledge. We LOVED our day with him, and he is well-worthy of our highest recommendation!!!
Had a beautiful day visiting some highlights of the Black Forest. Our guide drove us and narrated along the way. Very informative regarding history, culture and sights. At each stop our guide walked with us and pointed out all the important things to see. Highly recommend this tour.
Daniel is a contracted guide for Viator and has been in business for a little over a year. Much of his leisure time in years past has been spent in the Black Forest and its German villages so we were in great hands. A marvelous balance of fresh air, waterfalls, clock shops, lunch by the lake and a little early birthday cake disguised as Black Forest cake! Yum! A great break from all the city walking tours we've been taking.
Nice day out in the Black Forest visiting 3 lovely towns. The pace was good and Daniel was a very good guide and driver. I would have liked a bit more time in Triberg the first stop but there is a lot of distance to cover so I guess you can't stay too long in one spot. Would recommend this tour.
On a nice day, we have an enjoyable trip to Black Forrest. Daniel is our guide and the driver. He knows the area and three stops in three unique areas. A great trip.
Daniel is knowledgeable and a good guide. He answered questions and explained what we were seeing. It's a long day but he gives good information. Started and ended on time. Van is clean and comfortable.
Good time all good, good Gide, punctual Good places
Daniel was wonderful! He is an excellent guide who is friendly and knowledgeable about the region. He made the travel experience to the Black Forest truly memorable!
This tour is full of good information and rich history about the Alsace region! The Black Forest is beautiful with stunning landscapes and great stops. Daniel, our tour guide, was so knowledgeable and very pleasant. We took this tour with teenagers and they loved it. I highly recommend this tour.
Daniel was a fantastic guide. Comfortable van and knowledgeable. Trip stops were good ones and the time spent at each was well planned.
A wonderful day trip into Germany from Strasbourg. Daniel was very friendly and knowledgeable and made the experience amazing. Highly recommend when in the area!
Fantastic guide and driver. He is the best. Would like to have him on future tours. Very determined and detailed to provide best level of service.
This is a great day trip with Daniel who is a fantastic guide. Daniel sent a welcome message together with photos of his van and the meeting place which were much appreciated. The day was well planned and the Black Forest area was beautiful. I would thoroughly recommend this trip.
This was one of the best parts of our trip to Strasbourg and the Alsace region. Daniel was the best tour guide. He is super friendly, patient, and very knowledgeable about the Black Forest area and the small towns we visited. I would highly recommend him and his tours to anyone wanting to see the highlights of the Black Forest.
Traveling with my three sisters (all in our 30s-40s), and we all agreed Daniel made this our favorite tour! He is friendly and approachable, asking questions and giving suggestions. Even traveling during a record-setting heat wave, he made the experience fun and kept to the shade as much as possible. The hike up the waterfall was moderately strenuous, but considering the amount of elderly people and some small children who made the hike, it’s VERY doable and beautiful. The pictures of the valley and the coolness of the falls more than made up for it! The lake was beautiful, and we had a pleasant lunch overlooking the lake. Frieburg was a pleasant surprise, and our hourlong tour by Daniel was very enjoyable despite the heat! 10/10 we would rebook or take a different tour (if available) with Daniel. If you are prone to motion sickness, be aware that the drive between the Triberg and Titisee is on a twisty backroad, so take some medication ahead of time.
This expedition is totally an experience and was made better because of our great guide. There is a lot to see in a day, but it does not feel rushed and there is plenty of time to experience all the stops.
Thanks Daniel for a great day! The tour was very well organized, entertaining, and informative. I would definitely recommend this excursion.
My husband and daughter and I had a wonderful day with Daniel in Germany’s Black Forest area. We were able to see several areas of Germany including a trip on a lake (the boat trip was optional), a beautiful waterfall and the historic college town of Freiburg which is really lovely. We had free time in Freiburg to eat some Black Forest cake and visit the cathedral and some shops. Very enjoyable!
This was a fun adventure with lots of history shared in a way that kept us interested. The waterfalls were STUNNING. The boat ride on Titisee lake was a relaxing way to spend some time and we learned about the cathedral in Freiburg’s one of a kind history!!! And FYI, Black Forest cake is yummy! Our guide, Daniel was awesome!
Daniel is an experience and well-versed history guide with strong knowledge of cultural heritage, historical events, architecture, and local traditions. Skilled at delivering engaging, informative tours tailored to diverse audiences.
There is a good deal of walking, but it is very easy walking. The only incline was in Triberg to go up to see the falls, but this trail was very well maintained with handrails. Our guide and driver (Daniel) was truly exceptional!
Terrific day with Daniel in a comfortable van through a beautiful section of Germany. Nice combination of guided touring and free time, which is tough to get. Plenty of time for lunch in a lovely lakeside town. Really pleasurable day with Daniel. Highly recommended!
We learned a lot about the history of each place we visited. Our host Daniel was very knowledgeable and accommodating. We had free time at each stop which was much appreciated.
Daniel was a wonderful guide. He explained the region's history and provided excellent guided walks in each area.
Daniel is an amazing guide. The three stops were very beautiful and he shared a lot of information. Would definetly recommend it!
this was a really well planned and executed tour, our guide greeted each of us and explained each place in details and also guide us to each place ,
I recommend this tour. The entire route is beautiful. The Triberg waterfalls are very pretty, Lake Titisee is a pleasant place, and Freiburg is a very cheerful city full of young people, beautiful and cultural. Our guide Daniel made the trip super enjoyable for us and explained everything wonderfully.
Wonderful places, very experienced, helpful, and knowledgeable guide. The cuckoo clocks are a wonder
The trip turned out fantastic. I loved Strasbourg, Colmar, Gengenbach, and the towns of Triberg and Titisee that I visited. I find it more comfortable to visit them on an excursion like I did the last one with Civitatis because the trains have many transfers and are not coordinated, thus losing a lot of time, and in my case I did not have in mind to rent a car, but I organized myself and I loved the trip.
Excellent trip, very beautiful landscapes
Very beautiful and interesting excursion. The places are wonderful and the guide Daniel is truly very good and helpful
I particularly liked Daniel, who had a wonderful knowledge of the history of the places visited. Plus in 4 languages: English, Spanish, German, and French.
An excellent treatment from the staff. A very pleasant experience.
The guide Daniel has done an excellent job and is highly recommended. Very informative and punctual.
The excursion was very nice. Very complete. Excellent guide-driver, Daniel!! Very kind, very attentive, and their explanations are very good. I recommend it 100%.
Very good experience. Daniel has been an excellent guide; the tour of Freiburg was complete and enjoyable, and the visit to the Black Forest was very interesting. The company contracted through Viator has been Abnova.
Very beautiful organized excursion, we had the necessary time in every place..the waterfalls beautiful.. Our escort Daniel very courteous, with a pleasant mood every moment of the day..in Freiburg helped us to see all the important places as he travelled us on foot to see them all! Very good guide! Make the trip without hesitation!
We really enjoyed the excursion. Daniel is an excellent, professional and attentive guide. Highly recommended.
