From the moment we initially contacted Steph to the moment Christophe dropped us back off at our hotel, we felt fully taken care of. The wineries they chose showed the vast differences in winemaking throughout the region. Each had its own story and history. We were extremely comfortable in the Tesla Model X and the lunch restaurant selection was superb. Having the option to purchase wine and the tour company managed the shipping was unexpected and appreciated. We look forward to our next tour in the region with them!

Stefania was an amazing guide with a fun personality! She took us to the castle Haut Koenigsbourg, the village of Riquewihr, and other hidden gems of the region. She was very knowledgeable and gave us time to sightsee, shop, and eat. It was charming and pleasant day.

For my wife’s birthday, we decided to visit Strasbourg for a long weekend, and the highlight of the trip was Step’s private tour of the Alsace region. We really enjoyed the whole experience, which was very well organised, informative and really enjoyable. We saw a vineyard, two wineries, a castle and some beautiful towns. Steph has good humour too which made us feel very comfortable. Overall, highly recommend and well worth it!

France in a day - done to perfection! This was a highlight of our whirlwind tour of Europe and just one day in France. Communication was excellent and you could not find a more professional, kind, informed and gentlemanly guide than Christoph. Stefan helped us tailor the day for a family of 6 with our four children and the Tesla was an amazing choice. Plenty of space for long drives and premium comfort. The day was run meticulously even with the busiest day of Christmas markets - Strasbourg, Colmar, Haut Konigsbourg Castle (one of the best in the world, we’ve seen a lot!) plus small towns and hidden gems we would never have discovered without our lovely local guide. Easy parking, local tips, timed to optimise our day. The Alsace region is a treasure trove, and we cannot recommend Steph on Tour highly enough. Our 8 year old at the end of a long and excellent day just said “a lot of guides are only there for the adults, but Christoph looked after us all. He was the best”. From an adult view, the insight into to the region, culture, language and history was exceptional and we thoroughly enjoyed Christoph’s company. 100% would book again and we will when we return!

We had Christophe accompany us to the Black Forest and to the Alsace region on two separate trips. He was very knowledgeable and took us to all the right places, explaining the history of the villages. We especially loved the hidden gems (which I will not reveal here, in order to save the surprises for any future travellers witht he company). We had a really great time over the two days. Booking was very easy via Viator with Stefan texting details and asking us our preferences. We left it up to him to make recommendations in some instances while insisting on visiting a waterfall in the Black Forest and one or two picturesque villages. If we were to visit Strasbourg again, we would not hesitate to use this firm. The Tesla is very comfortable for long distance trips!

Christophe was our guide and he was amazing. We had our 9 year old with us and made sure that she was involved with every aspect of the tour, telling her about the history and adding in the scenes from beauty and the beast. This is a private, small family operated company and I highly suggest using them when you’re in this area they make sure to accommodate all of our needs.

Cristopher was an amazing ride, always making us feel comfortable and offering to take pictures. 10/10!!!!. We went to many places including Riquewhier and Colmar.

Our driver Roman, was excellent. He translated for us at a small winery in Colmar after our drive from Strasburg. He was friendly and knowledgeable. We hired several different tour companies in Alsace…but Steph-On-Tour was head and shoulders above the rest. Highly recommend!

Stefane met us at our boat with a beautiful and comfortable car and took us on a great tour of the local sites. He explained the history of the area. It was spectacular. And it ended with a flair! Stefane was easy to communicate with and speaks very good English. I highly recommend.

We spent 5 hours traveling through the Alsace region with Stephan. We were on a Viking River Cruise and wanted more than what the ship offered to us. We met him in Strasburg. What an absolutely spectacular 5 hours! We allowed Stephan to make the travel plans which were perfect! Small villages, castle, wine tasting, vineyard travel, and a "cremant" toast to top it off. We highly recommend Stephan as a personal travel guide. We often use "Tours by Locals" and found him to have unlimited knowledge of the area as well as a sense of what we would enjoy.

Another absolutely amazing day with this company. I visited a few years ago with colleagues and we loved it - loved it so much that when I brought family back this visit - we booked again. Fabulous day of churches, castles, fairytale villages, and a winery visit. A few of the places were hidden gems and not something we would have found otherwise. We spent a delightful day with Stephane while exploring the Alsatian wineries and countryside. While traveling from Strasbourg into the countryside, Stephane provided us with a brief geological, cultural and political history of the region so that the wines, language and culture would be more meaningful. We stopped in one village to see a gorgeous Baroque cathedral and then continued on to the Archillee winery, where we toured the barrel room before tasting several varieties of delicious wine. While en route to the delightful town of Riquewihr, we drove to the top of hill to see the largest castle in the region. Our final stop was the Dopff winery for delicious samples of Cremont sparkling wine and regional Rieslings. The day was a highlight of or three week trip. Read less

We used Stephan's tour company for a private tour of Alsace. It had Christophe for our guide/driver and we couldn't have been more impressed with the service. Christophe was a gem, telling us the history of the area, and personal information relevant to the tour as well. He was downright giddy when he found great, easy parking spots and loved pointing out all the different stork nests. 10/10 would love this personalized tour of the little villages in Alsace with wine tasting in Riquewihr. I know we sure did!

Well organized!! Took all recommendations which were amazing had one of the most perfect days of my life! Very knowledgable about the area! Christophe was great! Patient kind, listened to all request, ares for kids and adults to hv fun!! Car sears worked out well too, amazing convenient door to door of each area, did so much in one day, with three kids and four adults, my sister and I‘s family. Never would have been able to do that on own. Well worth it and super fun! Normally do not write reviews but this was really awesome! Also my husband forgot his sunglasses in the car and they met us in the city the next day ! Wow just hope to be able to come back and do some more touring with this company 11/10!

Christoph was an excellent guide for our day in Alsace. The haute Koeningberg Castle was amazing and the fairytale village of Riquewhir, which is the basis of scenery for Disneys Beautify and the Beast, so beautiful. We also enjoyed the wine tasting and charcuterie, and a visit to Colmar.

We wanted to be able to visit the villages WE wanted to see and this tour was exactly as advertised and more. We chose to go with a full day tour and Christophe, our guide/driver, over-delivered! He never rushed us but still managed to get us everywhere we wanted to see and added a few he thought we would love. He is very knowledgeable about the area and was extremely patient, kind and helpful as one of the four of us uses a walker and was very limited on her ability to keep up. We were thrilled when he joined us for lunch and encouraged us to try one of the local favorites. I would request Christophe if booking this tour; you won't be disappointed!

What a wonderful adventure! This tour team really sets themselves apart with every aspect of the experience. First, they were in constant communication so we never felt nervous about our meeting time and location, which is important when you're in a strange country/city. Our driver, Christophe, was genial and warm and happy to chat. He was engaged and curious throughout the trip. The Tesla itself was a very clean and comfortable ride! We shared that we would like to grab a quick lunch on our way to the destination, so Christophe brought us to a beautiful small town to grab sandwiches and snacks from a local patisserie. We walked a short distance to a park overlooking the river and he surprised us with a bottle of Crémant, the local specialty, that we enjoyed as we ate and watched beautiful swans swimming by. Stephane listened to what we hoped to accomplish and went above and beyond by connecting us with a villager in the town we were going to visit. Beatrice was warm and friendly and full of history to share about her special village! She spoke only French, so Christophe translated for us (and helped me practice my French). Stephane shared our goals with Beatrice who did her own research on our family and showed us the home of our ancestors (their names still inscribed from the 1800s!). She walked us through the village with kindness and patience. Reconnecting with our family roots may have seemed like a moonshot, but Stephane and his team made it into a reality and we will never forget this experience. Run, don't walk, if you need a personalized guided experience in the region!

We had an amazing day with Christophe in a beautiful Model X Tesla! My husband and I did the tour with our adult son. Christophe is such a nice person to be with and so accommodating. The tour was custom designed to appeal to what we like, but we were very open to exploring this area of France. I think I gave some general ideas and this tour absolutely exceeded expectations! We were able to have a delicious coffee in a precious village, see a castle, tour a winery with a wine tasting and see some lovely villages and scenery. We packed a lot in one day, but never felt rushed. It would have been nearly impossible for us to have researched this area and planned it ourselves. Can’t recommend this tour enough! We will definitely use this tour company again when we return to this area. Let them know what you are looking for and they will take care of you.

You must do this trip! It was just me and my husband. Stephane texted the night before to confirm some details about what I had written in the notes and make a meeting point (our hotel lobby - yes it was a tesla lol). He also shared a loose itinerary that we were excited about. I did get the sense that he could have pivoted on the fly, had we come up with an idea we wanted, but I recommend going with his choices. We saw a castle, some villages, a very scenic vineyard, and had some wine tastings and charcuterie set up by him in advance. He was fun and funny and filled in cultural context along the way. He had also brought a memorable surprise and snack along with him. We had a lot of fun, but we also learned and saw things we never would have without him. Thanks Stephane!

Steph was fantastic. My husband and I were in France to celebrate our 10 yr anniversary and Steph made our time in Strasbourg all the more memorable. We discussed what our budget was and what we were looking for prior to pickup. Steph customized our tour to fit everything in within our budget and we had a fantastic time with him (and his son whom he asked if he could tag along to create a custom video for us).
