This is one of the most memorable museums that I have toured. The experience was significantly improved by the commentary of Alice, our guide, who clarified both the historical and technical aspects of the VASA story. She did an admirable job of conducting the tour in English and Italian without either group feeling neglected.

Amazing museum! Very interesting plus we had a great guide, Clement. Glad we went early because it became very crowded.
Wonderful tour guide and tour! The Vasa ship is a must see when in Stockholm!!
Our tour was supposed to last about 2 hours. The same tour by another group lasted over 2 hours! Our tour guide, Andy was very nice and fairly knowledgeable. Unfortunately, it was his first time since initial guide was sick. Andy stated he had to do another tour in 1-1/2 hours. Our tour only lasted 70 minutes! I definitely did not get my money’s worth.
Our guide Alice was amazing. A self described “geek” (in a great way) knew so much about the history of the Vasa wreck but also shared information on Swedish history. Funny Charming and Delightful!
Ruined by adding German group to our English tour. This made the tour very fragmented and also took longer which meant we had to leave before the end of the tour. Very disappointing.
It began with our guide being a bit late. Then it was very late due to the other members of our tour who were late. Also, for whatever reason Viator did not have me listed as being on the tour even though I paid on line. I requested the tour to be in English. Our tour guide was very kind and knowledgeable, however, his native language was Spanish, which at times made him difficult to understand, and at times he had to ask another member in our group who was Spanish (and she requested to have the tour in Spanish although it was held in English) what the word in Spanish was in English. The tour was also very hard to hear as we kept running into other tour groups who were trying to talk over other tour groups. I was disappointed as I was so excited to learn about the Vasa. It would almost be better to do the self guided tour.
This experience was brilliant! The museum has so much to see and included some interactive displays. Wonderful guiding from Clement, who very ably managed our multinational tour group and ensured we all heard what he told us and saw everything he showed us. Clement knows so much about the Vasa and the history of the time it was built. He is clearly passionate about the story of the Vasa. Viator were also extremely helpful in assisting us with our need for a date change for our tour, which was accommodated thanks to their support in communicating with the tour company involved. Another great Viator experience for us.
Seeing the Vasa was incredible! What an amazing ship. The museum has created many different ways for visitors to learn about and appreciate the Vasa and its historical context. Fascinating!
It’s a must see Our tour guide was Daniela, try to book with her. Her passion for the Vasa and its history made the experience one we will never forget.
Our guide Caoimhe (sounds like kwee-va) was absolutely incredible. She made the entire tour informative, engaging, and incredibly interested, even to our young girls. She was so good that another bloke tagged onto our group just to listen. High priase, and I hope she has success in whatever she does. She was a great guide!
The tour guide was a no show. I later saw that the tour had been changed to a different time. This was only stated on the Tripadvisor site, no email, no text. I'm still waiting for my refund.
Our guide, Caoimhe was friendly and wonderful. Very knowledgeable and assured everyone stayed together and was able to hear her. She was on time and rounded everyone up to start the tour on time. I love that she texted us a picture and dropped a pin for the meeting place the morning of the tour so we felt comfortable meeting up. Definitely do this tour. The VASA is amazing.
Awesome structure, such details in the carvings, to bad the design caused it to sink. Sorry spoiler alert
Today I took a guided tour in French of the Vasa Museum. I really enjoyed the experience. Our guide, Pedro, was great (he speaks very good French). Everyone in the group was kind. Thanks to this guided tour and the explanations I was able to better understand the history of the Vasa. Thank you for this experience.
Great and informative, will recommend to everyone. Thanks to our guide Pedro for his guide and information.
Ben took us through the many levels of the Vasa Museum, offering historical insight along every step of the way. He willingly answered every question and you can tell that this is a topic that truly interests him. This made our experience even more great.
Amazing museum and an incredible guide. Very enthusiastic and personable. Daniela had amazing knowledge of the museum, and was able to fit in so much even while we were on a slight time crunch. We had young children with us, and she took the time to really engage with them and bring the museum to life for them. She was so very great. Highly recommend!
Recommend a guided tour at the Vasa museum, you get the best bits. Thanks to our guide Daniela! You get to skip the queue, which was really good today when the queue was veeery long. All in all, very good!
An experience like you'll never have again. Our guide was informative and passionate. You've got to see this to believe it. A fully excavated ship from the 1600s that sank on its maiden voyage. The museum was well designed with a great deal of exhibits. Don't miss the movie so I'd suggest scheduling a tour earlier in the day so one can spend time after the tour to revisit different areas.
Excellent museum. The structure itself was immense, eclipsed only by the stunning Vasa. The exhibits were illuminating and brought the whole experience together. Our tour guide, Pedro, was excellent. He was clear, informative, and entertaining. Would highly recommend.
Very interesting and informative, Pedro was a great guide. Our trip to Stockholm had been really enjoyable and this was a highlight of the trip
Our guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. Group size was small (10-15) which made the tour more intimate. We could take our time to look at all the exhibits, never felt rushed. Definitely the highlight of our stay in Stockholm. Highly recommend!!
Daniela was very interesting and thorough on our tour. She was also very careful that we as seniors were able to hear and be involved. Thanks!
An excellent way to spend time in Stockholm. We had Ben as our guide and so we thoroughly enjoyed his tour and his love of the history was infectious.
I really enjoyed the guided visit with Kajsa, the museum was amazing, the ship looks like a petrified wooden ship, it’s amazing how it’s preserved and I feel that with the explanation of the whole museum and history you can really extract how the puzzle got together through the 300+ years that would have been difficult without her
Tour guide was nice. Good tour if you don’t want to read the signs around the museum. Other than that, I wouldn’t recommend and don’t think it’s worth the price. I wouldn’t say we learned much outside of the signs in the museum. At times the tour guide would read the sign we were approaching to repeat to us.
Such an amazing tour with great information. The guide was entertaineing and very knowledgeable which made for a great tour
So much fun and the guides made our night. Was great not having to wai in lines and got staright in. The gop was coola nd made some new freinds
It was an expensive round 1200 Skr for 2 people for 2 hours. We were there in good time (20 minutes before) but could not locate the guide, she was completely without a logo or other that showed she was a guide. It was only when I asked a group left outside that she went forward and presented herself. Booked an English tour but got an English/German guide. And it is obviously impressive that she can switch between 2 languages, but it meant that we got 1/2 tour, not always I discovered that she turned back to English so missed some of the story. The tour was also completed after about 1.5 hours. Not worth the money, and can NOT be recommended from here, take Vasas own guided tours that are included in the ticket.
Great visit to the Vasa Museum!! Pedro, our guide was as interesting as friendly!! I recommend!!
My wife and I were at the Vasa Museum today and had booked a German-speaking tour. We were fortunate that we had our guide Daniela to ourselves and so enjoyed a very private tour. Daniela has described all the information about the Vasa, her fate and also about the history all around so grippingly that the two hours passed as if in flight. Her winning and sympathetic nature, as well as the expertise imparted was unique and can only be highly recommended.
Bring a lot of time and you can get a lot of information, two hours that can captivate
I visited with Pedro, in Spanish, who has told us in detail everything about the Vasa. His passion for sailing is rating, which is a plus to understand why it sank, how it was sailed and the work to recover it. Highly recommended!
We had an exciting, informative morning at Vasa Museum. Our Giude Daniela led us through the exhibition with a lot of passion. Thousand thanks for this😀Absolutely recommended !!!
Excellent museum and bestguide...Peter besides knowing very well the details of the museum was very friendly... a wonderful visit... I recommend it to the Maximo
Very friendly and interesting guided tour with Pedro. Originally from Spain, he has a taste for passing on his knowledge with perfect pedagogy. Particularly culturally interesting visit. I recommend.
Thanks to Pedro our guide for his knowledge and valuable information about the destiny of this masterpiece of architecture.
The Vasa Museum is very worth seeing. We were there with Daniela as a guide in German. Have learned much interesting about the history of the Vasa of Daniela. Absolutely recommend this tour.
The Vasa Museum must be seen when visiting Stockholm. Interesting and impressive. Toller Guide! Danke Daniela
Great tour with Daniela. Has completely captivated us with your knowledge and enthusiasm. VASA MUSEUM became an experience with Daniela. TOP absolutely to recommend
Our guide Daniela guided us through the Vasa Museum and told us many impressive details. We found it very interesting and great.
Daniela did an excellent job. We were a small round - all questions were answered in great detail! Friendly, personable and competent.. what more could you want...
We (1 adult/1 teenager 13 years) had booked this tour in German. We were greeted by Daniela in front of the museum very friendly and were alone on this tour. We got a lot of information and could ask questions at any time. Daniela knew a lot of exciting things to tell and took us on this journey into the past. She showed us the entire exhibition and was also able to inspire my teenager with the stories. We had a lot of time to take pictures and be amazed and could even watch the film shown. All in all a successful guided tour in this great museum and highly recommended!
Very personal, friendly and expert guidance. Perfect German, as German mother tongue. Highly recommended!
great tour with very interesting background reports. Guide very dedicated and has definitely made an exciting narrative!
Daniela our guide explained everything very well. She did a great job. It was very interesting and worth knowing. Can only be recommended to everyone
Our guide Frank was great. He had a lot of information and his calm manner allowed him to convey it very well. Always happy to. The Vasa Museum is fantastic.
Great explanations from our guide Kajsa, about this exciting, didactic and very impressive museum...A must-see visit to Stockholm!
