The places were good and enjoyed the time there however the app is misleading - you have to have very busy days to make the money worth it so plan ahead and ensure that is what you want to do! Also be careful of the season you go not everything is open all year

Nice experience, we visited a lot of museum, parks and went along Stockholm islands and city. Very useful and necessary for dynamic user who wants to go around without stops!
The experience was very positive. Acces was fast and convenient. Economically, the savings were noticeable if you make several visits. As an improvement, some of the offers had to be physically validated at ticket offices, and these had stricter hours than the attraction. Otherwise, highly recommended.
It was really easy to use and the vendors all seemed to embrace is using them at their place. We did more things by using this app versus going on our own. I'm sure we would not have done all the things we did without it.
Not worth paying. You hardly save anything, PLUS kids are FREE in most musuems, etc, but this site charges for them. We were tired on some days, so didn't get to use all our activities. You don't save that much to begin with, and if you don't complete all the courses, you'll lose money. NOTE that they only give you 1 big draw entrance, tho they make it sound like you get the top 3 most popular events. So, this is a racket, do not buy, unless you're a young person and can hit like 3 places or more one day. With kids, do not buy, as alot of places kids are free.
Very convenient. No need to wait in line buying tickets. Unless you are a very quick visitor of the attractions you won't save a lot of money. Best if you take it for two or three days. I don't regret taking it!
Although we didn’t save an enormous amount of money, we did save some and the ease of using the pass is unbeatable. At most venues we simply held out our phones to be scanned. The biggest savings are on boat tours. If we had done one or two more, we would have saved a considerable amount.
Absolutely wonderful 4 days in Stockholm! Our 2-day GoCity pass was so convenient. It allowed us to plan each day with backup outings incase we needed to rearrange our schedule. Having the pass saved $ and was easy to use at each venue. The information about what we wanted to do/see was helpful, as was the maps for directing our steps. (We averaged 14,000 steps daily!)
Great way to get lots of activities done in Stockholm. The pass covered almost all of the museums, galleries and boat trips we wanted to do. We worked out we had saved over £55 each over three days using the card instead of paying for individual tickets to attractions. It also reduced waiting and queuing times.
Great pass if you want to visit a lot of places in a short period of time. There are so many museums in Stockholm, and even if you don’t enjoy museums so much like me, there are some different ones that you might.
The Stockholm Go card gave me pre-paid access to all of the museums and activities that I wanted to see or do. It simplified access and reduced my costs -- no having to pay a fee at every museum I entered. Traveling in May, a 'shoulder season', meant that crowd sizes were never a problem. This is the second time I've used a Go City (or equivalent) card and will certainly do so again the next time I travel.
The pass was amazing, we were able to see so much in Stockholm, the museums were plenty, we understood some places were not open for the season yet but look forward to coming back again to see the islands . Hop on and hop off was disappointing as only 2 buses were running and made for a lot of dead time ended up Ubering instead. We even took in the ice bar and drink.
Good pass but not for Kids. It should be notify that most of the visit are free for a 9 years old kid and that it's not worth it to buy a pass for them.
I had the Essentials pass, which included 3 attractions, 1 major and 2 lesser. The pass does not allow for pre-booking at most attractions, but given I was going in February, I did not think that would be an issue. At the Vasa, the major attraction I chose, we showed up and it worked beautifully. We also chose to use it at the Ice Bar, and this does allow pre-booking but no later than 19:15 pm. Not ideal, but workable, so two out of three down. But then the canal tour is where things fell apart. You must show up the day of, in person, to get a ticket. We showed up right as they opened and were told there was nothing available that day. We showed up the next day, and they had just a few tickets on the last cruise of the day, which we were able to do. And this is in February; not exactly peak season. So fortunately, we were able to use the pass at the three locations we wanted, but it did involve two extra trips to the canal tour kiosk, and a shuffling of our schedule.
Not worth getting this card. Transport not included. Impossible to do 4 venues per day (to make it worthwhile) especially in winter when venues shut early.
Horrible experience. I am giving Stockholm Pass and Viator 1 star; would give 0, if possible. I bought a 2 day pass and the pass only worked for 24 hrs. When I went to use it on day 2, the QR code was no longer available so I could not use it to get into any of the sites. I contacted Viator, and they reached out to Stockholm Pass. When Viator got back to me they said that my pass expired at 11:59 pm on Day 2, which was funny since I contacted them around 11am on Day 2 (12+ hrs before it expired) when I was at The Royal Palace and saw that QR code was missing from my pass. At that point, I should have had the majority of the day available. Viator kept giving me the same answer when I told them the QR code was missing, which was required to get into the sites. I tried to contact Stockholm Pass but had no luck. Basically, I paid for 2 days and got 1, so was ripped off for 1 day. I would not recommend either and will not be using Viator again.
2 day pass was enough for my daughter and me and it is very cost effective. We have already used it in Denmark and saved a lot there, in this way. We visited Viking museum, Vasa, Vrak, Tekniska, Nordic museum, Royal palace, Skansen, Ice bar with 2 day pass and had Fika in Systrarna Anderson and Royal tour boat. We are very sorry that Gröna lund is only included in the summer pass.
This is more of a warning for anyone planning to purchase this for use in December, don't bother as loads of the "included" tours and attractions are closed in December yet the price is the same all year round. I reach out to the to ask and got a very direct "check the website" response. Even when you put your dates of travel in their trip planner for December if shows you options that are closed!
Would not recommend as the hop on hop off bus was a joke...always late and ends at 5 pm!!! you spend extra using their metro worst part is when a cruise ship is in town they bring you to that spot and we waited 45 minutes for it to board...would rather have just paid out of pocket for anything i wanted to see...also, so many things were just "closed" and the site did not at least warn about it...avici lookout for example, nobel prize museum closed on a monday, just a joke...wont do it again for what I paid and what i got
The pass was great value, and got us into all the main attractions that we wanted to see. The museums, free food/drinks at some very nice establishments and the convenience of using the pass made for a very pleasant trip. Can’t recommend it enough!
We had no issues using the pass. Definitely worth it if you are hitting most of the tourist spots. The only thing it did t include was the ABBA museum
Minimal savings. All the boating attractions closed for season as well as many others. I felt forced to see attractions of which I had no interest just to utilize the pass value. Be wary of buying the unlimited pass during off-tourist season.
Good expérience and savings. It's not possible to book activities mainly with Stromma boats so the activity could not be guaranteed. One bad experience not satisfying with Fern et Frika. We have been proposed a sandwich amoung 3, wich most expensive was 82 SEK plus a coffee or a tea for 35 SEK. Thus a total of 117 instead of 180 as announced in the experience. We also faced a bad welcoming.
We took 5 days Stockholm Pass and for this reason we were able to visit many museums. It was quite good to see different things in a limited time but honestly it was very tiring also. If someone want to explore evertyhing like history, geography, anthropology and demography about the city you will go then this pass is very suitable.
Everything worked well, museum entries, hop on hop off bus and Stockholm Bridges cruise. We were able to do almost everything we wanted. The only major attraction not included was the ABBA Museum.
Very good value! Moreover, it gives you the chance to change your plans (usually if you buy tickets in advance, you have to choose a day and time to visit) and pushes you to do a lot of things and visit places you wouldn't have thought of.
Great value for money if you want to visit more than 5-6 museums. Fistly, I changed my mind on the days of the pass so I got a quick refund in order to book the 3-day pass. It offers access to all important sites +museums that are worth visiting. We had easy entry to the museums. The app is very useful as you get useful information on each museum and it can provide a possible itinerary. Would definitely use it again.
Really helpful pass if you want to see lots of things - it meant we were not debating the cost of each attraction before going in and we were able to use the hop-on, hop-off boats to get between attractions easily. Overall, I think it saved us money as we bought pass in the "sale" and reduced hassle. However, it is not a fast track to entry anywhere. You just queue as normal and get your pass scanned or scanned and ticket issued. The only place we had a problem with this was the Stromma boat trips. You need to get there early for the first boats as there can be long queues. However, people without passes can but tickets on the quayside but if you have a pass, you have to queue at the ticket booth. In one place this was really slow as one slow person dealing with lots of enquiries and in the other the booth did not open until 15 minutes before boat left. My husband got in the queue for the boats while I queued for the tickets but he still had to step aside and wait for me and we almost missed one boat. It meant that those who did not have passes got the best seats at times - it should be possible to exchange the pass for a ticket on the quayside without having to queue. However, this was the only irritant. Being able to use the hop-on hop-off boats several times was very useful.
Some excellent experiences and some very disappointing ones, including what has been an impossible task: getting on virtually non existing hop-on hop-off boat tour. I recommend you take the service off the card, as it caused most disappointment, several changes of plans and an overall waste of time across the days we have been trying to use the service offered by Stromma.
I got the five day pass. Overall good value for money. A great way to visit many museums and to go on a couple of tours as well.
Really useful pass. Entrance to almost everything we wanted to see. Quick to use at every venue and on the hop-on, hop-off bus and boat. Overall it save us money too.
I was in Stockholm a week and used a pass for five days. It was really handy. I like a city pass I used 20 of the 71 experiences and I felt like I got my moneys worth for sure. This was great because there was boat rides included in the pass which I haven’t seen other cities. The only suggestion I have is read the fine print on the boat tour because I thought they ran all week, but they didn’t run every day and I miss some of the bigger one day tours because I didn’t schedule myself properly.
The Stockholm Pass made our self-explore easy, convenient and flexible. Although only one activity can be booked in advance on the app, no harm to have other attractions easily access to.
5 days Stockholm pass for the whole family (2 children, 15, and 19 yrs) used at 19 attractions, including museums, palaces, churches, boat trips, Fika places, icebar, hop-on hop-off! It costed cca 525 euroes instead of cca 850, it was well worth it!
It’s the second time I’ve used Go City and I love it. Not having to worry about budgeting for attractions takes a huge amount of stress out of the trip. It’s really easy to use and I like that you can name the passes if more than one person is using the same account so they don’t get mixed up
Very practical and it is really worth, you can see everything except the town hall and the ABBA museum. We bought a 5 day pass and saved quite a good sum with it. The only negative thing is that the hop-on buses only run between 10:00-17:00.
Convenient card for visiting museums and using it for transportation. Carry your usb charger and make sure your phone is charged.
This pass is absolutely fabulous! Having the choice of 71 attractions, prepaid, plus your app which showed us which attractions were nearby, opened up so many opportunities to experience Stockholm. My husband and I visited 5 sites on our first day and 4 on the second. We loved our Stockholm experience!
We feel that the Stockholm pass is good value for your money. If you are planning to visit a number of museums and/or using the hop on hop off bus or boat extensively. We feel that we got our moneys worth because we visited quite a few museums and used the hop on hop off for transportation. Also, we got a free drink at the ice bar, which is normally very expensive. We do recommend for people who plan to do a lot of sightseeing and visiting museums.
We chose the Stockholm essentials pass as we only had a short time there. We chose Skansen, the hop on hop off bus tour and the boat tour and felt this gave us a good overview of the city
So disappointed in the pass not running on a 24 hour clock - like all the other passes I’ve ever purchased. Seems like an easy fix.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Stockholm. Go City helped us with that. Of course you have to plan a number of things. The weakness of the pass is that you can't make reservations in advance.
Plan your visit in Stockholm carefully. Check the venue timetables and transportation. Do not rely only on hop on-hop off buses. Use normal transportation as well.
Go City pass allowed us to easily travel around the city and hop on and hop off the sightseeing bus and boat. We were able to pick the various attractions that interested us to explore.
This pass and app made life a lot simpler. I would highly recommend it. I would not of wanted to have to make all these purchases separately. It also helped to find more things to do.
I am very impressed with the GO CITY APP. It is easy to use, cost-saving,Next time I travel, I will choose to use this service again.
Stockholm was a great city to visit, lots of great sites to see, Vasa Museum, ABBA Museum, Royal Palace, lots of other museums to see and a great Old Town Buy the Stockholm Card and you definitely will save money going into all the attractions!!
We saw a lot of stockholm on buses boats and walking through the wonderful city. We visited a lot of museums enjoyed the experience. But due to the public holiday many museums we shut on our last day, and we missed out on some important visits. This holiday should have been pointed out to us when we bought our tickets
We booked the pass for 3 days in Stockholm. We had already been to Stockholm the day before and familiarized ourselves with the city. There are lots of interesting sights and the prices are quite high. The pass is therefore worthwhile if you organize your sightseeing well. The distances between the sights are sometimes very long and you need a means of transportation. In addition, some of them only open at 10:00 or close at 18:00. Time is running out. The hop-on hop-off is not enough to get around between the attractions. You also need public transport (SL app for bus, subway etc.) which costs extra. Conclusion: Take a close look in before: Which attractions are included and which you want to see? Make a plan of how you will get from "A" to "B". Hop on hop off by boat and bus only run every hour and "in the evening" only until 17:00.
Saved a lot of money. Happy with it for the most part. Easy to use App with one exception. Had a very difficult time following the map and schedule for buses. Hand-outs or schedules on signs often didn't match or weren't accurate. App not easy to use for schedule and stops. Wasted time trying to find bus stops for the buses that accepted the Go City app. Very confusing.
