I found Rainbow Tours through Visit Stockholm and booked a 2-hour Old Town walking tour—one of the best decisions of my trip! Arturo met me at my hotel and brought Stockholm’s history to life in a fun, engaging, and easy-to-understand way. Even though I usually research before traveling, I learned far more than I expected. My friend & I are in Stockholm for several days and decided to do a private walking tour to familiarize ourselves with a City we do not know. Sophie was an excellent guide, meeting us at our Gamla Stan hotel and leading us through the history of Sweden and Stockholm while touring Old Town, and then showing us Sodermalm with its great views of the city and modern everyday life. Excellent tour. Very well informed guide, with historical emphasis. He was also very personable. The private tour, about 5 hours, was well worth it, and we have found, a very efficient way to appreciate a different environment. Not things easily done on our own.

Absolutely outstanding. Not only is Tale charming to be with, she is incredibly knowledgeable and interesting. She went above and beyond to ensure we got the most out of our time in Stockholm by ending the tour with lists of recommendations, getting us a reservation at a lunch restaurant we wanted and taking us right back to the restaurant before leaving us. Sophie took us on an excellent tour around Stockholm. She customized the plan based on our interests prior to the tour and met all of our requests. Our two kids (9 and 14) stayed engaged the entire time (over 7h) and really enjoyed learning about Sweden and Stockholm. Sophie even had a little game for them prepared to keep them focused throughout the tour. Excellent expedience that met all of our ecxpectations. Highly recomended.

Great tour of Old Town and the Vasa Museum. Our guide was very friendly, enthusiastic and knowledgeable about Stockholm and she went out of her way to accommodate our interest.

This was our second tour of Stockholm with Arturo. (First tour was in November of 2023. Second tour was July 2025). We have been on many other walking tours in the US and Europe. Arturo's tours were without a doubt the best experience we have had. He provides history and detail that others simply can't match. We would go out of our way to book any tour with Rainbow and Arturo. They set the standard of what a walking tour should be.

Incredibly knowledgeable and personable guide for a magnificent city. After the tour it's worthwhile to take time to see the changing of the guards and eat at a local restaurant to get a true taste of Sweden. If coming from the cruise ship I recommend taking a taxi to and from the tour.

GREAT TOUR! Arthur was an amazing guide! We were a group of 10 adults. He met us at the ship and spent the entire day with us (10 hours). He was passionate about sharing his knowledge of Stockholm. He took the time to discover what we like, and them provided a custom tour to fit our areas of interest. We were greatly impressed with his knowledge about so many things! Weather made this our Plan B but were not disappointed. A week’s worth of museums, restaurants and shops kept us/me busy (friend returned to work while I carried on solo). Although an impressive public transit system got us everywhere with little effort, we often chose to get our daily steps in and see more. (Sometimes the best way to learn a city layout is to get lost - safely!) The old town “Gamla Stan” is being both well preserved and functional. The wandering indoor/outdoor/underground malls thwart inclement weather. So much history, art and architecture to see, I’ll surely be back.

Our guide Piotr showed us the old town and Södermalm. He showed us rhe highlights, but also some hidden gems you not have noticed otherwise. He talked passionately about the city, joined us to the best lunch and fika places and even did some additional research before about some hidden dutch history in the city. He also was very flexible in what to show us when we had additional questions or demands.

The favourite part of the tour was to know more about the “old Stockholm life” and to know more about the culture. The guide was top (5 stars) and he helped us with some restaurants to try the traditional food and to try the famous fika at 15pm!! I really recommend to the future visitors to do the private tour with these fantastic guides!

I have attended around 12 tours in Stockholm. I have gathered a good chunk of information about Stockholm. But I had desire to go deeper and I have made good decision choosing Arturo, from rainbow tours, who felicitously went down to more advanced history and stories. We have done two tours with this company: the first, with Marta, in the Södermalm neighborhood, and the second, with Sebastián as our guide, in the Östermalm area. We give them the highest rating for how engaging they have been (two and a half hours with each of them felt very short) and the preparation of the guides. We booked a tour of the Gamla Stan area. Elena our tour guide was a charm and very close, made us feel very comfortable. The route was very entertaining, it lasted about 21⁄2 hours. In the end, he stayed as long as necessary to advise us and resolve our doubts... A 10 for her..

Great, very informative city tour. We were a small group of seven people, which made it very individual. Our tour guide Zenid was very knowledgeable in language, English and German. The three hours were entertaining. We got many insights into the history of Stockholm. Those who don't like history are out of place here. We also received several additional visitor and restaurant tips for the following days.

We have booked a private tour that has turned out to be a spectacular experience, not only around the city but by our Guide Claudia!!! It has been a pleasure to travel the streets of Stockholm with her because she has put a lot of detail into the explanations and was always attentive to the needs of our children (13 and 9).
