The Guide Father Marc was very pleasant but short on depth of information. It was a fun tour but we should have seen more for the cost of the tour.
The itinerary given to me when I booked was not the same as what the guide used. We missed some major sites that we wanted to see. We were told it would be 4-5 hour tour, and it was exactly 4 hours. The guide was adamant that it couldn’t be a minute more than 4 hours, so we were very rushed and didn’t see all of the sights we expected to see based on the itinerary provided ahead of time. When we brought this discrepancy to her attention, she seemed very agitated and insistent that the tour we were getting was the “standard tour” even when we showed her the itinerary we had received ahead of time and thus were expecting for our tour.
Mark was a poor guide. He did not know the itinerary and failed to give adequate information about the sites. He failed to stop at the Palace for an hour and passed the old village. He only returned to it after I told him this was on the itinerary. The fee charged for this tour was exorbitant in view of the quality of the tour provided. I would had a better experience on the much cheaper hop on hop off bus.
Nicholas was on time, informative and very accommodating regarding my disability. He knew his subject matter very well
Great tour by a very knowledgeable tour guide who did an awesome job showing us the main sites plus interjecting very interesting information as we drove around and periodically stopped for sites and photo opportunities. I highly recommend this tour!!
Our tour guide, Nicholas, was great! He was very knowledgeable of all the sites and made adjustments to our schedule to best suit our needs - definitely recommend!
We did a 4 hour private tour of Stockholm. The guide was very knowledgeable and engaging. She showed us the highlights we were interested in seeing. I highly recommend this tour.
I booked Stockholm Full day guided trip for my 11 guests & my clients were really happy. They enjoyed the trip a lot & guide was also very nice.
Kate and Herman were awesome. Having them drive us to multiple stops made our one day in Stockholm perfect especially with my elderly parents. Extremely knowledgeable and so easy to get around.
Herman is a very considerate, knowledgeable and well spoken guide to see Stockholm with. He knows the right spots for the best views and is broadly knowledgeable about Swedish, Viking and European history.
I purchased an individualized five hour tour and sent an email the day before telling them that I had already been to the vasa Museum, which was one of the two museums on the itinerary. I received response that it could be modified since it was an individualized agenda. When the guide showed up, he thought it was for a two hour tour and knew nothing about the previous message. The guide was fine but ill informed Of the booking.
Kate did a terrific job. She kept it moving and very interesting. Everyone in our group loved her as a Tour Guide. Vince Wall
Herman is extremely knowledgeable and a fun guide. We highly recommend him! You won’t be disappointed.
Kate and driver Mark were great, she provided the 6 of us information about Stockholm and the Vasa museum. There enough stops in between the driving portion of the tour. The most interesting stops were the city hall where the Nobel prize is awarded and the Vasa ship museum.
Very knowledgeable and kind guide. The tour is highly recommended for those who have limited time yet want a taste of the city
Kate was an excellent guide. Very knowledgeable professional and friendly. Had no trouble increasing the duration as we ran late.
Kate did a fabulous job with her description and history of explaining the vasa. She was very good with understanding the speed we needed for my 90 year-old mother. We loved the tour through the shopping and she helped us find the things we were looking for and Never seemed to be frustrated with our slowness when choosing our treasures. Loved Marks singing talents with his serenades. They were both very endearing.
Herman did an excellent job describing Stockholm and Swedens history. We would highly recommend this tour.
Nick (Spel?) is a very professionally friendly tour guide who clearly explains the specifics remarkably.
Visit was very informative and interesting. well. Learned a lot about Vasa, not only the ship but the culture itself.
We had an awesome time. Our guide was really knowledgeable and had great suggestions. I wouldn’t hesitate to use them again!
Our guide Mervin was incredible. He was very knowledgeable about the history of Stockholm and particularly the Vasa. He took us places we wanted see and answered our many questions. He is passionate about his job and cares about people. Highly recommend!
Herman was excellent!! Extremely knowledgeable and so pleasant to be with. We had a wonderful time. Highly recommend this tour.
We loved our 4 hours with Kate snd Mark, learning so much about the Swedish culture and daily life! Totally recommend this tour!
Great knowledge of the area and its history. Very pleasant and flexible. A purely enjoyable afternoon.
What a great tour with Kate as our tour guide. Her knowledge regarding the back history of the city and the city building was a huge part of our experience there and at the Vasa.
Great way to see the city and learn some of the history of Stockholm. Our guide was helpful and patient with the kids.
There are a number of tour companies. We booked with Tours by Locals (Anna), who was amazing. Even in the winter, the ferry rides to the various islands were awesome. We visited a number of museums, and stopped for Fika, a Swedish tradition. I do not recommend the hop on/hop off tourist bus system. Sounds good, but construction of levees make it difficult to find the stops, and there are no enclosures for bad/cold weather.
All of them. Kate an Mark are awesome! They kept us entertained after a red eye flight. Saw a lot of Stockholm during our daytime layover.
Real professional and knowledgable. They were able to drive through icy snowy condition safely, Everything was great .I only have positive comments
This was a 4 hour trip not 4-5 hours. The guide and the driver were very friendly. Took us to some nice panoramic views. However, the tour did not match the description on Trip Advisor site. I expected to go inside Royal Palace, City Hall, and Skanken Museum. We only went by the Palace and City Hall. Didn't go to Skanken Museum at all. They did take us to the Vasa Museum but we had to buy our own entry tickets. Also, we had to buy tickets for a boat. According to Trip Advisor website, all entry fees were to be included in the total. Bottomline, its not worth the money.
Fantastic and exhaustive tour, learned a lot of details , historical and modern! Tour very well organized.
Good experience Been able to get all the highlights of the city in short period of time Katrin is full of energy and knowledge Recommend
Herman was very good. The Vasa museum was outstanding. However there was last minute notice that the tour could not start at 12:30 which had been requested and approved weeks ago. Also there were 2 hours of walking that was not indicated in the tour description.
We picked this tour because we understood that this was a driving tour. Instead we walked and took public ferry for most of the touring. Even when we expressed that some in our group had physical ailments that made stairs and that much walking an issue. We clocked 6 flights and over 15k steps. One of our guest had to take to bed due to severe discomfort after our tour. Additionally we were charged 150 Euros for a pick up at port yet we were able to Uber back for 63$. Lastly tour guide was not a fit for our family and seemed condescending to us.
Wonderful short 4-hour highlights tour with the City Hall and Vasa Museum. Kate is an excellent and experienced guide and Mark is a great driver with a fantastic voice. Love the tour, the commentary, and all the local spots with their history. Short and sweet tour. We were in Stockholm only for two days and this tour made our day.
Interesting three hour tour of Copenhagen on foot. Our guide Mia had a local insider's perspective of the history and geography of the city. This tour does not include a visit to the Mermaid statue.
The “Vasa,” Stockholm City Hall, and Old Town we’re among the things we saw. Our guide, Kate, was exceptional. She was very knowledgeable (and I asked a lot of questions!) and obviously loved her subject. She was punctual, enthusiastic, and gave us a wealth of information, from the old to the new. I recommend this tour highly and if you’re lucky enough to have Kate as a guide, prepare to fall in love with Stockholm under her tutelage. Fantastic!
Herman was an excellent guide during our private tour of Stockholm. He swiftly evaluated our degree of mobility and my wife's medical condition which limited her ability to climb stares and up hills. He tailored our tour to accommodate these conditions. The tour of the Varsa Museum was especially excellent. Herman's knowledge of the recovered sailing ship was very helpful. He personal experiences touring the museum were very helpful. Herman was very helpful assisting us to return at the end of the tour and his willing assistance in locating a restaurant that would be convenient to my wife's needs was much appreciated. I would be pleased to recommend your tour company in the future.
Just to make it clear It’s not a 4-5 hour tour . It’s a 4 hour tour on the dot. The tour description says 3 main attractions we only did 2 Never did the Royal Palace. Our tour guide was good but as soon as we got in the car she made it very clear that it’s a 4 hour trip and that we won’t have enough time to go into the Royal Palace If we wanted to see it we had get tickets and go see it the next day . We just did the Vasa Museum and the City Hall Building and then just drove around the city the rest on the time.
The tour guide was very knowledgeable and fun to be with. He gave us good company and kept us entertained throughout the trip. Overall the experience was great. However, the tour is somewhat overpriced given that within the four hour period we were mostly driven around the city and the old town, showing the city hall, royal museum, and the Skansen just from the outside. The only place we got to see inside was the Vasa museum where we had to pay the entry fee separately. The car was clean and complimentary water and snacks were provided.
Kate was incredibly knowledgeable , shared information in an interesting way and was very comfortable to be with. We had fun and felt like we learned a lot in a short time ending with a lovely dinner thanks to her recommendation
Our tour guide was good and the vehicle was very nice. The tour information is misleading and should be updated as not all of the things listed are able to be accomplished in the tour per our guide.
Gustov and our driver gave us an amazing informative and interesting comprehensive city tour of Stockholm, including a private guided tour of the Vasa Museum. The tour of the Vasa gave us so much insight we would not have learned on our own. The overlooks of the city and its history captured in a nutshell so much history. Eager to answer our questions and navigate the city traffic made this a great learning experience. Exceeded expectations.
This was our first time on a cruise and setting up a tour outside of the cruise company, and it did not disappoint! Kate and Mark were prompt and on time, the vehicle was immaculate and after a short discussion of our additional viewing locations, we were off. Mark was a wonderful drive and maneuvered through city streets like a pro. Kate was a horn of plenty when it came to information and insight to her loved country of Sweden. The team took us to some special locations that have the best views for photo ops and not to mention an added bonus of a film location for the original “Girl with the dragon tattoo”. Kate really knew her stuff and provided us a wealth of information and insight, and it was well received! We were additionally serenaded by Mark, providing a beautiful rendition of a traditional Swedish song. After driving from place to place, collection a ton of photos and information, we were dropped off back at the cruise ship with time to spare. To not take this tour, I am afraid you could not say that you “saw” Stockholm, but only visited. Our thanks to our new found friends, Kate and Mark and we recommend this tour to anyone that really wants to “know” about Stockholm.
I had great experience with Kate and Mark! Got to see the city from lovely vantage points where I would not know as first timer. Also learned good insights about how the city and the people evolved. The atmosphere of the tour is relaxed and friendly, not too rigid as well. We made some adjustments based on my preference as well. Thank you to this awesome couple guide, I was able to plan my next day well.
Kate was our tour guide. She was friendly, knowledgeable and easy to understand. The pace was just right. Great overview of the city and the different islands. Highly recommend for first timers to the city.
Absolutely amazing city! I fell in love with this city!!! My guide Astrid showed this city from the local perspective which make me fell in love with Stockholm. Guide was so knowledgeable and friendly. Driver was always paying attention for the doors opening which made my tour as really VIP person. Service definitely worth 5*!!!
VASA Museum was amazing! The photos don't do it justice! City Hall was impressive as well! Stockholm is a breathtaking city. Kate was an amazing, friendly, fun and knowledgeable guide!
