August was a great guide. Very knowledgeable and interesting. We saw so much of the old city. Would definitely recommend.

Berna did a great job showing the wonders of Stockholm! She had a expansive knowledge of the city and of Sweden
Excellent morning out with August. Very informative and personalised. Small group and very enjoyable
Had a great tour of Stockholm today. Learning the history and walking through the streets filled with so much history. Berna taught us so much about the places we visited and the long history of Sweden.
Berna was extremely enthusiastic and knowledgeable about Stockholm and Sweden. She was very friendly and we got a good introduction to the city.
What a great way to start our Stockholm experience! The guide (August) was knowledgeable, interesting and a lot of fun to be with! Maybe one of the best tour guides we have ever had! Highly recommend this tour to learn about the Swedish history and see the beautiful sights of Stockholm
August is an exceptional tour guide. Attentive, funny, kind, interesting and knowledgeable. He was very patient and made the tour really engaging. An outstanding experience.
Sarah was an amazing guide. We learned so much and had a great time. Added a film stop which was great! She was funny and very knowledgeable. She took time to answer all questions. I would highly recommend.
This was the best tour I've ever been on. The tour guide's name was August, he's a local from Stockholm. No one else in my group showed up so I got a private tour, which was adapted to the time and interests I had. August is super personable, knowledgable, and has a good sense of humor. So yes, of course he knows all the important fun facts and anecdotes you don't find when Googling history of Stockholm, but he also makes it all engaging and fun to learn. I would 100% recommend August's tour to a friend! I wish I did this tour earlier on my trip so that I could get his recommendations on restaurants, fun areas to explore, and things to do. One more thing, be sure to wear comfy shoes to walk around cobblestone streets.
Sara was wonderful and provided an informative and delightful walk through the city on a beautiful autumn day!
Sarah was a very engaging & knowledgeable guide. She has a sense of humor & she responded to all our questions… we really appreciated her assistance in our walking tour of Stockholm.
There was too much talking and not enough walking and letting our small group of 5 see an attraction to decide what to return to rather then listening from one spot to the guide
It was a wonderful experience. We had a small group comprising 7 people. And a knowledgeable guide. We read good reviews about him in the review section and quite lucky to have him as our guide in this walking tour. His name is August. He made our trip very informative and interesting. It is a must tour for first time visitors to know Swedish history and roam around central and old (Gamla Stan) Stockholm.
Seems like a great experience on paper, but unless your "knowledgeable tour guide" actually speaks on the extensive walking tour, it's nothing more than an aerobic walking exercise. Annoying that the other tour registrants have to ask question upon question to get any interesting tidbits out of the guide. We walk past all kinds of things, but no proactive content shared about history, architecture, gossip, history...NOTHING. So it ends up the annoying other tourists in your group hijack the tour. The ball-less stoic Swede tour leader is just answering questions rather than LEADING the experience.
August was a fantastic guide. Beyond the history of the city he gave us great recommendations for where to dine and how to navigate to our next destination. Thank you August!
The guide was hard to understand guide and hear, no breaks, and little of Gami Stan covered. A lot of walking or standing.
Dress for the weather. .,.............................................................................
August was a great guide! Just the two of us on a rainy day. He is a historian & a foody. And he showed me where to pick up the Ferry to go out to swim in Grinda! I got the layout of Stockholm & and lovely City Hall on Wedding Day! I was even able to find my way to my hotel with no GPS. Great morning!
Highly recommended if it's your first time visiting Stockholm. We both enjoyed the tour and we have Rachel as our tour guide.
It was a very informative and enjoyable tour. Our guide, August, was very welcoming and friendly and made sure that everyone was included in the tour, adjusting the pace to suit all participants. The references to relationships with other Scandinavian countries, both past and present, were well received. August was able to answer any questions he was asked clearly and succinctly with just the right amount of detail. We were particularly grateful for his final recommendation, at the end of the tour, for Pascal coffee where we enjoyed excellent coffee and cardamon bun - our first attempt at fica!
Michael was an outstanding guide. He has an in depth knowledge of Swedish history. And he is a gracious and pleasant person, concerned that everyone in our 10 person group would have an a great experience.
Michael was outstanding. Our group had a lot of questions about everything Swedish, and Michael answered us with intelligence snd vast knowledge while always being tactful (a lot of our questions touched on sensitive religious and political issues). Our conversations took so much time that we couldn’t finish our itinerary in three hours, so Michael volunteered to extend our time together, and when we were done walked several members of our group to their next destination. I would gladly go on another tour with Micharl and recommend him highly.
Michael had an excellent knowledge of Stockholm’s history and culture giving us brief rest stops as we meandered the city. A great introduction to Stockholm. Our walking tour was an easy pace and we covered a good area finishing in the Old Town. Michael was very interesting and spoke excellent English.
The tour guide was perfectly nice and had many anecdotes however his monotone mumbling left me frustrated. I left after the first two hours and should have have left after the first hour. There was too much standing around in the sun for those anecdotes rather than sitting in a shaded area or walking. All of this could have been possible since we had a very small group. Viator needs to have a more professional guide
Our tour guide, Kenneth, was very knowledgeable, lively, and we had the best time. The history of Stockholm and Sweden become alive. I would highly recommend him.
I had a great tour with the guide August! 100/100 for sure. It actually ended up being just me and him, which made it even more personalized tour than expected. We had great weather and got to cover so much of the city, hitting every major area/site that I had wanted to and more. August was amazing at providing historical context, fun stories and local Swedish cultural insights as well! It felt very well rounded tour in providing insight to both history and current Swedish culture and events. We were able to keep a great pace too (not too fast or too slow.) Definitely got my money worth and would recommend to others.
Enjoyed our walking tour with Anders. He walked us through so many eras of Swedish history and added some humor to keep things fresh. Very well done!
Sara was an excellent guide! She concentrated our tour on Gamla Stan based on the interests of the group and was friendly and extremely informative during the tour. Tack sa mycket!
Our tour guide was amazing. She was informative, friendly, and answered all of our questions! I hight recommend this tour!
We really enjoyed our walking tour with the very personable Anders Pier, The circuit was well planned. Loved all the anecdotes which gave a good balance to all the historical information (which can be a bit overwhelming). It was the 1st time we have taken a small group tour, and this was a big plus. The less expensive tours usually run with 20 people or so. Our group had 5 people and we found this alone was worth the extra expense.
This walking city tour led by Michael was fantastic. We got to learn about the history and see highlights around the city, including getting recommendations on what to see and do during our time in the city.
Our group of 10 had a great 3 hour walking tour with August. The tour was very good and August was an excellent tour guide. He was both informative and fun.
We loved our guide, Sara, in Stockholm on 7/21. She was kind, informative, very knowledgeable about the history of the city and made sure all of us were hearing all she had to say.
Our guide, Ludo, was fabulous. He not only showed us around Oslo, but he was so informative about the economy, history, and general knowledge of the city.
Enjoyable & informative walk around Stockholm with guide Anders. Would highly recommend.
Guide was excellent, gave us a nice tour of the city at a very reasonable pace. We felt like we hat a good overview of the area and had some time to shop.
Great guide. She is 5 stars and above. Sadly we could not hear her over the noise of the city it was a great hike through the city. Had we heard the tour would have been five stars for sure. Not to operator City tours must be in loud robust voice. Wait for group to be together to talk Face the group while talking. Or. Have headset with earphones.
Our guide (August) was great.
Michael was an excellent guide. Tons of information and very affable.
We had a great tour today with Sara. She was very interesting common knowledgeable, and fun. Highly recommend
August gave us an upbeat, energetic, entertaining tour of Stockholm. He showed us parts of the city we would not necessarily have sought out or known to ask about that we thoroughly enjoyed. His English—and even use of American idiomatic expressions—was impressively perfect. My husband and three daughters (ages 20, 18 & 16) were sad when it ended. He was a superb ambassador for his home city, Highly recommend!
Very informative. Mostly spent in Old Town. The guide was knowledgeable and answered all questions. Nice group size.
August met the group totalling 6 for an afternoon tour of Stockholm. We covered much of downtown and old town, hearing relevant and intriguing information and history of Sweden's capital. August moved us at a moderate pace, wedding our way around other larger guided groups so that we had prime and focused views and facts.
Wonderful tour with a small group (8), with tons of history information and tons of walking to various sites.
interesting tour including old town and major points of interest. We found out what FIKA was and enjoyed it during the tour.
It’s really a tour of the whole city not just Old Town. It’s a LOT of walking. It was very interesting just be prepared, be sure to have water with you.
We had a brilliant walking tour around Stockholm. August was a fantastic guide: articulate, funny and extremely knowledgable. We learned a huge amount about historic Stockholm, the Swedish people themselves, and most importantly, where to get the best cinnamon buns. Very highly recommended.
A very informative and comprehensive overview of Stockholm walking through the main part of the city for three hours.
Small group made the experience more personal. Tor guide was very informative & gave background details most Americans would not be aware of.
Anders was very knowledgeable and personable. He accommodated my need for a shorter distance in walking. I highly recommend Anders.
