The hotel is situated in an excellent location, and the staff was genuinely helpful throughout the stay. The breakfast was top-notch with great variety and quality. My only complaint is that the gym doesn’t open until 6:00 AM, which is slightly late if you prefer an early workout before starting your day. Highly recommended otherwise!
Really a party location, especially over the weekend, don't expect quiet surroundings. A lot of restaurants and bars around. Very good public connections and walking distance to city center. We enjoyed it, but not a place for family with small children or elderly in pension ;-)
A truly nice place, well located in Södermalm. Comfortable rooms, excellent access to public transport. Good breakfast and several restaurants and supermarkets close by.
I had a pleasant stay at Scandic Malmen in June. The room wasn't very large, but it was clean and comfortable for two people. The breakfast offered a good variety of food. A special shoutout to Liam, who gave us earplugs and also helped us with a late check-out. He was incredibly thoughtful, and I really appreciated his kindness. Thank you, Liam, for making our stay even better!
Our experience was great, and this isn't my first time at Scandic. As usual, my experience was excellent. The place is fantastic and close to everything. As a Scandic member, and needing 1,000 more points to become a GOOD Friend, it's definitely one of my favorite hotels. I've stayed at several Scandic hotels in Stockholm, and Scandic Malmen is one of them. I loved its location; it's only a 20-minute walk to central Stockholm, Gamla Stan, the Royal Palace, and many other attractions. There are also many restaurants near the hotel, some of which stay open late, which is important for travelers. The rooms were good; we booked two: a standard room and a family room for two adults and a child. I wish the family room had been a bit bigger because with the addition of a third bed, it felt a little cramped, but it was still good overall. But the view from the family room isn't the best! I also hope that Scandic brings back the breakfast option included with the booking, without additional costs, so we can continue to enjoy our experience at Scandic hotels!
