Scandic Grand Central

The location was great, very central and perfect for onwards travel (the flygbussarna coach stop is just around the corner) and seeing the sights if you like to walk. The hotel itself is well decorated in the common areas, and has a comfortable lobby. The toilets here need a code to access them, but apparently only for the women as my husband used the male facilities without needed a code. Breakfast was very well done. Despite how busy it was on weekends, there was a constant rotation of food and the staff were quick to clear and clean up tables. The only real downside for me was the cleanliness of the room, specifically the bathroom. We found 3 long blonde and black hairs in the shower when we first arrived and kept finding stray strands over the remaining two nights. For reference, my husband is bald and I have very coily purple hair so definitely not ours! The bathroom is small but serviceable for two large adults so smaller people will manage just fine. Overall, I think it's a great place to stay, and the downsides are totally manageable for most.

Me and my friend had a really good one night stay here. The location was super and convenient and the staff were the kindest! We had a bit of trouble finding our room and got lost in the hallway but one of the housemen were nice enough to show us all the way to our room. The room was also very nice and it might have been the BEST sleep I’ve ever had. Seriously, the bed was amazing along with the blackout curtains. Easy check-out process and luggage store is stored at own risk(like many other places). I would definitely visit again and will recommend!

Excellent accommodations. The shower was phenomenal and the bed was very comfortable. The TV had an odd habit of turning off randomly — I'm not sure if that's by design. I would have liked a bit more control over the room's air conditioning, though I suspect that may be intentional or a local regulation. Overall, we were very happy with our stay and would recommend it.
