Divine Living - Apartments

One of the worst places I’ve stayed. We booked for two beds and chose it for the location and photos, but it was a mistake. The property is in serious need of repair and a deep clean. On arrival, cleaners were still there, the dishwasher running when we arrived, it was very full and some dishes still dirty. I don’t come on holiday to empty someone else’s dishwasher. The coffee machine and bin were filthy, and the kitchen surfaces grimy. Both beds were broken, one with sharp edges. Blinds and door handles damaged, and the dresser top dangerously loose. Completely unacceptable.

One star is far too much, and negative stars aren't an option. A nightmare!!!

Avoid - check-in process was a nightmare (instructions on booking.com were outdated & of zero help), host who only made themself known on check-out day was rude & unapologetic for mucking us around. Room/Apartment was also poorly maintained & several amenities were missing.

The location is great, right in the heart of Gamla Stan in a historic building. We had a 3-room apartment with its own entrance directly from the alley. The check-in process was a bit chaotic. The living area with kitchenette on the ground floor was very appealing and well-equipped. The tiny bathroom with shower and toilet was functional, but nothing more. There was no storage space, and the shower curtain was grimy. The 3 bedrooms were windowless in the basement, so they were slightly musty and too warm despite the air conditioning. The beds were comfortable and clean, but overall cleanliness was insufficient. Pipes ran along the surface of the walls through the rooms, so you could hear every shower and washing up in the entire building. Good Wi-Fi was only available on the ground floor. It was okay for 3 nights, but nothing more. Good connections to bus and metro.
