The hotel is in a cozy, residential area of Östermalm, and the service is decent. I stayed in one of the cheaper rooms, which was located in the basement. A definite plus, though, was that the room had windows, unlike many of the budget rooms in Stockholm. The breakfast was quite good, nothing fancy, but certainly not bad. They also get a bonus point for offering salami and brie baguettes for guests to take away.
We had a great stay here. Kind staff, great location and wonderful breakfast. We had a couple of beers and a glass of wine in the garden on the backyard, which were something I've never experienced in a hotel in a city center before. Highly recommended!
The location is excellent, in very quiet and safe part of the city, plenty of services, restaurants and shops around, close to public transport and a lovely park. The staff was friendly and helpful. Very reasonably priced for. Breakfast was very tasty and varied, there's also coffee and pastries available in the dining room at all times. Could use more vegan options, I saw a guest give up and leave to eat elsewhere after seeing the selection. The garden is lovely and quiet, with blankets provided. The room was clean, quiet and the bed was very comfortable, but the room was tiny, there was no way to regulate the temperature, and the "garden view" was actually just another section of the rooftop.
Overall, this hotel is a good one for anybody wanting a relatively cheap, decent hotel with very easy access to Stockholm. The front desk staff is awesome- Eugenia is the absolute best. She deserves a raise for all that she did for me! Rooms are good AS LONG AS you do not stay on the basement floor. I almost did, but upon seeing the room I got my room switched to an upper floor. The basement floor rooms are small, cramped, underground, and have NO WORKING WINDOW OR AIR CONDITIONING. Unless you are OK with that, I would strongly advise to pay a little bit extra for a non-basement room. Location is great. However walls are thin in the hotel and you can hear everything happening outside and in the hallways. Breakfast is great- lots of options and good food. Nice that they have coffee, tea, and snacks available all day.
This is a well located hotel with shops and restaurants within in walking distance. Good transport links to central Stockholm if you don't feel like walking. Rooms are very clean, smallish but not cramped, you have absolutely everything you need. Bed was super comfortable and bathroom is a good size. Hotel was quiet at night which meant a great sleep!! Breakfast was fantastic, catering for all needs, everything was labelled and they even had a gluten free section which was separate. Staff were very friendly and helpful. All in all, a great visit and we will definitely return.
